A small but cosy eating joint with Satyajit Ray themed interior. Food quality is quite good with reasonable price tag. Loved it!

Recently Visited this restraunt located in Saltlake Sector 3 and was highly impressed with the quality of food. They Serve delicious paneer tikkas and chicken kebab was nice as well. We ordered naan chicken chili mili which was very spicy and delicious enough satisfy tastebuds.
The Ambience was quite good though small but the theme which is based on satyajit Ray was quite amusing.
Overall i had a nice experience at this restraunt.
Do pay them a visiy and try chicken chili mili for sure.

Well, a deep look of 7 Days Restaurent in details, first of all, its a restaurent based on SATYAJIT RAY and the interior decor completely arranged by the work and life glimps of Ray the great. They serve exclusive veg and non veg dishes catagorised by different states of india. The dishes we kept our priority on were: :

A newly opened restaurant with 14 sitting arrangements. Situated in Salt lake sector 3, near Susrut Eye Hospital. The ambience is too good. A themed decor. It's all about Satyajit Ray- The legend of Bengali Cinema.

Located at GD market 7 days has been serving some reasonable yet tasty food. It's interior is pretty simple but the theme is all about Satyajit Ray. I visited this place with some of my friends and found it really interesting. So we tried.

The food was perfectly made and the hospitality was upto the mark. I really enjoyed spending time here. Would like to visit again.

Superb place. Good food, though menu is limited. But a very gd place to have dinner/ lunch and spend some time with Satyajit nostalgia

A shrine of tribute presented to late Mr. Satyajit Ray, the restaurant also has 7 different types of thali being served per week.

Are you obsessed to Thali? Then 7 days of the best option for you. It serves seven different Thali in seven days. This is so unique. Foods are equally good and tasty.
We tasted…biriyani, chicken ghee roast, Paneer tikka masala, mushroom.

The best part is that this restro is based on Satyajit Ray theme. Interior is decorated with Ray's cinema posters, camera, art.
Do miss the opportunity to explore.

A surprise discovery. Can't make out from outside or by seeing the sign board by the road. However, when you step in after walking a little bit from road (may be 10-15 steps), you are in for a surprise.themed on Satyajit Ray, with photos, posters, artefacts and simulated studio set up with lights etc, is a pleasant sight. Though it's a very small place, it's comfortable. Food is good. Washroom is clean.
It closes by 10pm and we saw a family being turned back as they didn't know about the closing time.

It's located near GD market, GD block Salt Lake. They were served 7 different Thali in seven days. This restaurant based on Satyajit Ray theme. It's really amazing. Now come to the food, we ordered Reshmi Paneer, Chicken Banjara, Chicken Chilli Milli, Chicken Hyderabadi Biriyani, Chicken Kabuli and Tandoori Roti. Foods quality and quantity were very good. Staff behavior was very polite. Overall experience was great. Must visit. Recommended.

A nice eatery located just near the GD market of Saltlake sector 3, this place is bringing a nice touch of innovation in the dining experience.
They have thali options, with 7 different types for each day of the week.

But I went there for its ambiance. It has a themed ambiance, with Satyajit Ray as the subject.

The interior & decor is very carefully & attentively planned to pay respects to Mr Ray.
The staffs were also very nice & polite.

We did not go for the thali though. So ordered ala carte.

Their specialty item - Chicken Kabuli

Chicken kabuli is a must try dish over here. Very nice & soft, succulent pieces of chicken with a mid-spiced gravy, topped with an egg-white poach. Just loved it.

Visited this restaurant a few days back in Saltlake sector 3. This has an amazing ambience and the food was delicious. This restaurant is themed on the famous Bengali figurine Satyajit Ray. Though a small place still it will leave an lasting impression with the retro arti facts.

Recently I went here. It is located at Salt Lake, Sector 3, beside GD market. It is a Satyajit Ray themed restaurant. So the ambience is pretty decent. We tried: Litti Chokha, Kalimiri Kebab Achari Paneer Butter Nun Dal Kolhapuri Dam alu punjabi Jeera Rice Chicken Ghee roast Food was good in taste. And they serve several types of thalis across the India. Overall it's a good experience.

Kebabs are an integral part of our starters. It's of no different from any other place having the perfect blend of spices and well cooked chicken.
LITTI CHOWKHA:
An amazing dish from the states of Bihar and Jharkhand.
GUJRATI THALI
CHICKEN GHEE ROAST:
Chicken cooked in a spicy gravy with an unique taste made to soothe the taste buds of every foodie.
BUTTER NAAN
PANEER CHILLI MILLI:
Spicy paneer preparation perfect side for a butter naan dinner.
PANEER PASINDA (must try) :
Strawberry paste sandwiched between two layers of paneer covered in a delicious coating and cooked in a sweet sour gravy. The best of all the dishes.

All the items were delicious in taste. Highly recommended place. Do give a visit if you are a fan of this great filmmaker or crave for Indian dishes.

Went with my husband & sister in law to have dinner at this wonderful restaurant at saltlake sec-3. Near saltlake GD island and susrut eye hospital.

Ambience- Interior decorated with the world famous cinematographer Satyajit Ray's photos, books and photos of his own movies, old shooting camera used by him, lights, paintings of old Calcutta and eminent Bengali personalities.the sitting capacity is around 15-20.they served India's various states veg and non veg dishes.

Starters- We had
Chicken Resmi tikka
Paneer chili mili

All the items tasted superb but I liked the chicken resmi tikka the most which melted in the mouth. It had 6 pieces of chicken tossed in cheese & onion with green chutney.

Paneer chili milli was superb.stuffing of mashed mixed vegis within two layers of paneer.its a red gravy with creamy layer.

Main Coarse - We had-
Butter naan
Chicken ghee roast

Both the items taste were exceptionally good and it also sufficient for 2 people.the side was spicy and had 6 pieces of chicken.

Conclusion
Very nice experience with excellent food, Ambience, staffs behaviour good and off coarse very reasonable price.

Recently I visited this restaurant for lunch. 7 days is a fine dine themed restaurant based on Satyajit Ray and his works. With a sitting capacity of about 15 heads this is a small place.
For starters we had ordered Paneer Kebabs and chicken Kebabs, both of which were served on sizzler plates, which was new to me. The kebabs were soft and good.
For main course we ordered butter naan along with chicken chilli milli and I have to say that it's one of the best chicken side dishes I have tried till date. The taste was unique and like none other. You just got to try it out yourself to savour the taste of the dish. There was also jeera rice along with chicken ghee roast.

This is an amazing place themed on "satyajit ray". The interior is filled with his pictures, posters and books. Being a feluda bhokto for ages now this place made me feel home and amazing!
The staff were courteous, super duper clean and supportive. They were friendly as well as they used gloves to serve the food which i loved the most! They treated us so nicely!
The food was really good. The chili milli chicken was spicy and tasty.and the banjara kebabs were moist and amazing with chutney!
Their speciality is they serve 7 thalis in different days! Will definitely visit here again to check out their amazing thalis!

️Location- Located just 2 mins walking distance from Susrut Eye Hospital Salt Lake and 10 mins walking distance from GD island.

️ Ambience- Right from the start when u open the door and get inside you will have the feeling that u have entered inside a museum of The Great SATYAJIT RAY. The interior contained photos of him and of his renowned movies, the picture of his camera work, highlighting calligraphy, old shooting cameras used by him and many more. The sitting capacity is around 20-30 people and they serve exclusive veg and non veg dishes of various states of India.

Litti Chowkha- Consisting of mashed potato, brinjal, tomato with green chilli and prickes.
Chicken Reshmi Tikka-
Containing 6 pieces of succulent Chicken Reshmi kebabs served with green chutney, carrot & onion.

Paneer Pasinda- contained 4 pieces of soft panir Pasinda of decent size and the taste of the gravy was sweet and would go very well with naan.

Gujrati Thali (Non Veg)
CHICKEN Ghee Roast-
Contained 8 pieces of chicken roasted with ghee having lip smacking taste

️Verdict- The taste of the items we ordered we're imoeccable, ambience something very unique and one must visit the place to have a glimpse of it. Overall I would give 5/5 on my overall experience.
