I went to get spell bound with show called S a M a where two young duos mesmerized my soul with their magical hands on sarod and tabla. About sisir mancha, its just opposite to gokhale road.no parking facility available inside where u need to park in paid parking outside.
Amenities considering the age of auditorium its well maintained, acs do work and sound boxes were crystal clear with no humming sounds.olderly ppl may find difficulties as toilets were not attached and it is in the other building. Over all location wise accssible from metro station called ravindra sadan.good experience.

Sisir Mancha is an auditorium located on Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Road in Kolkata,  West Bengal, India.  This auditorium is regularly used for Bengali theatres. The auditorium is adjacent to Rabindra Sadan-Nandan Complex. The theatre auditorium is named after Bengali dramatist Sisir Kumar Bhaduri[3] and it was established in 1978.

I dont live in kolkata but love to go for good drama and theatre when in kolkata. My mother, who is 87 years old lives to watch them too. So with the intention of a good entertsinmenr for my mother i called the number of Sishir manch.but to my utter disgust no one even nswered the call. It was around 4.30 pm on a weekday last week.

Seating capacity is less. But sound system and overall ambience is good. Very good for dramma.

Very well maintained auditorium. The sound system is too good. Accommodation is around 300. The best USP is it's position. Situated at the center of the cultural center of Kolkata. Rabindra Sadan & Nandan is adjacent to this auditorium. Charukala bhaban & Natya Academy is also situated here.

The Hall is decent. The Air-conditioning was good. The seats are reasonably comfortable but worn.cushions need refurbishing. Acoustics could be improved. But for a Rabindrasangeet program it was fine. Location excellent

Very nice government cultural hall just beside Maidan PS with fully AC. Many a times programmes are restricted with ticket but many a times it is completely free for general public.

This is an Auditorium for the play, seminar etc.located at near by Rabindra Sadan or SSKM Hospital, Kolkata.

This is the first time I came to Shishir Manch Auditorium. Drama loving people know how valuable this theater is. How many new faces are born from the hearth of this theater every day and spread their art to the world through their skillful performances.

Nice auditorium just beside Nandan. Good for small shows and theatres. I saw some great plays here. From my point of view, this is more natural than Rabindra sadan. Exide more in close proximity. It is close to Rabindra sadan metro station.

Really this is a very good place for those who are interested in drawing or learning something. To put it mildly, it's an wonderful place.
