Wanted to share a very dissatisfying experience with a brand I have associated myself with since several years. This happened today on the 24th December 2023 in Kolkata in the Kasba branch in the bpcl petrol pump. My parents happen to live close so we frequent this place.
The experience was that first they insisted on disallowing sub of the day till new year arbitrarily even though the poster very prominently had the offer. And nowhere was it written that the offer was not on. Next as we proceeded to place our order one of the employees insisted on charging us more (Rs30) for mozerrela cheese for the subway which again we knew not to be true as we had previously not been charged extra for it!
However since we protested they half heartedly apologized and indicated that they were new. This has left us with a terrible image of the company as I can imagine that there have been several others who would have cheated by the subway employees and denied offers or charged extra for no reason. I feel that since every branch is a representation of the company however small, I carry this bitter experience and think a little less of the company!
To the franchise owner Mr Devesh Sonthalla. Your employees are overcharging customers and witholding legitimate offers. This is either on your instructions to drive up charges and profits or the employees are pocketing the extra charges. I don’t know which one is true. It’s for you and Subway to investigate. I will highlight this to Subway management and post this on other social media, not because I have anything against you. This kind of exploitation of customers is not acceptable.

The whole experience was a disgrace to the brand Subway.

Staffs are under trained. I have ordered an American Barbeque with cheese pull. At first they forgot to add cheese pull then after reminder she added 1 slice where again I intervened to add one more since. After that again since I was busy for payment I guess she forgot to put barbeque sause in amerian barbeque.

Staff’s behaviour is good but there is a problem I found in the store is that when I visited today I saw some FLY was the there in the box of cookies, when I told to the lady, she replied yes I saw but due to shortage of manpower this is happened.

Plz look into this.

Had multiple instances when i have received less items than what was ordered and paid for (reference - swiggy order ORDER #159894992049 placed on 19/02/2023). One time we can understand it is a miss but if it is repeatedly happening it is a scheme to dupe customer to make money.

The food is decent, however what it lacks is the aroma that the subs used to have. The flavor is there, but the smell is quite bland. My guess is that the subs aren't being toasted for the right amount of time.
