The location is amazing and so is the setup of the place. And all good things end there. The food is downright pathetic with stale food cooked by an equally pathetic cook.
Just go to this place in the night to enjoy the view. Don't eat anything.

A bit costly.but bengali cuisine experience is good.fish fry is awsome.also chinese counter available.there.can experience that too.

A perfect destination for family gathering or a day with your special one.

We wanted to have " robibar er bangali kahabr", we had rice, chicken curry, chicken kosha, mutton kosha, dal and luchi.unbelievable pathetic cooking.same gravy and teste for mutton and chicken kosha, chicken curry was worst, among them dal was good.atmosphere is just awesome and one more thing.we missed BAR, I don't know why but they don't have Bar.oh in soft drinks they used to serve prepared drink so u cannot ask then to reduce the suger or make it little salty.overall it's pathetic sunday lunch we had.

Food: - quality and taste is very average while its price is too high.

Atmosphere: - very very good and enjoyable

Price: - 300 per person which will be adjusted with food items later at their restaurant.point to be noted: - they didn't bother to return the change/ balance.

The staff specially the lady with specs so arrogant. She refused to give the discount since billing already done. They did not mention it before. I thought it to produce at time of billing. Since it is a govt. Discount I am confused where is the money going.

The atmosphere is awesome. Especially the Chinese section (In the Houseboat inside of Lake)

Very good place in the middle of lake in the eco park. It has approach from 2 side. 1st you can come from eco park. There you will get ferry which will carry you to the restaurant. Or you can come by car just before 1st gate of eco park take the left turn. You will reach near Dhaba ajante. Where you have to buy Rs 300 coupon per head then they will allow your car to enter inside and you reach a parking area which is around 500 mtr away from the restaurant. You park your car there (Parking 50rs) and go to the restaurant by walk through wooden bridge. For elderly they have cart. Food is good but option is mainly chinese. Ambience is nice.

The ambiance is just good enough to spent a fantastic weekend with your friends or special person.
The price range for fooding is a little bit high but it's never unaffordable and worth for its quality and atmosphere.
Only dislikes the behaviours of guards and security persons are very rude and rough,
Lastly recommend to all for visit here and to spend a evening.

Beautiful dine in place inside Eco park. It has two sections. One is for Bengali cuisine and the other is for Chinese. The evening snacks time starts at 5.30pm. Before that one cat get lunch there. The chinese joint is located on a houseboat floating over the lake. Both sections are cozy and just beside the lake. Perfect for relaxation.

We went there for lunch and loved it! The ambience is very nice, by the side of the lake. 3 sections - Chinese a la crate, Bengali a la carte and Bengali buffet. We went with Bengali buffet as the others were packed with people and …. We didn’t regret it. The items were limited but extremely well made. I would say gentle cooking - no spice or flavor bombs, but somewhere between home and restaurant grade with good quality produce, fish and chicken … At 500 INR surely more than worth considering the quality and ambience. Definitely recommend.

The service was super slow. I dont know why. We waited for 1hr 5 mins after ordering. The aloo dum was bitter in taste i guess its for the methi but it was bitter. This time the experience was super bad. I have been there many times but it has become worse now. I ordered for 2 ice cream for dessert. They charged us for 3. My mistake didn't check it properly and paid them as it was already too late.
Mainak was asking me about the food but the service was slow and charging extra is not good.definitely wont be going there ever again and wont let my friends to go there too

Ambience is very calm and peaceful. You can sit for hours and enjoy the light music and calm water. View is beautiful. Food is okay. You can munch on a bite or two.

The ambience and food of cafe ekante is nice but DO NOT opt for the cruise. Other than rs 100 registration, you need to pay rs 650 per person for cruise and dinner. The food is horrible and cold. Tandoori pomfret served was stale and smelly. We paid rs 1300 for 2 packs and threw away most of the food. Giving 4 star only for cafe ekante.

The place is extreme good. A bit costly also if you are ordering 4-5 items it will be 1200-1500rs for two persons. No doubt the taste of every dish is extreme good. Too much delicious. Staffs are very polite.

There are two separate sections of the restaurant
One part is only for bengali food and another part is for Chinese foods.

You can entry by ECO PARK GATE 1 and go straight, cross the wooden bridge over a massive lake which will directly take you to the restaurant which is just in the middle of the lake. You can enjoy your delicious food with the scenic beauty. Good area for photography also.

Note: no need to buy ticket and enter inside eco park.

Laid back service, menu choices are extremely limited, awful presentation of beverages, push selling of package drinking water by intimidating guest saying regular RO water is not edible. Not appreciated. Billing takes lots of time.

We waited for quite a while. Not one server came to attend to us. We left without even getting a glass of water!

Lovely place! Though a little compromise on food if you don't have taste of Bengali cuisine. But hanging over light snacks with a beutiful ambience is worth.

It's one of the most beautiful restaurants I have visited so far. The location is amazing. And the decorations and vibe just fit perfectly with the scenery. Also the food here is delicious. Specially the soups, they are just amazing. Portion sizes are enough. Most people think the prices will be very high based on its location and ambience but it's not at all the case. Prices are quite reasonable and affordable. The food is also great taste wise. Might need a few little additions in their desert menu. The ambience is awesome. Best place to have a family dining. And last but not the least the service is also very upto the mark. Staffs are helpful and polite.

Its a very nice place, just one recommendation, should have some light snacks stall, such as tea, rolls and samosa where ppl dont have to wait for their turn and which are pocket friendly.

Very bad experience. Not even deserve a single star.we went there for dinner.waiting time of approximately one hour as festival season was there, this waiting time is acceptable. But after dinner we have to wait for boat also and approximately 50 minutes.this is pathetic.when we talked to cafe authorities they answered this is not our responsibility.then we asked where is your is suggestion/complaint register, they denied directly.very pathetic.food was also ok ok not so delectable that we waste our precious two hour for that kind of taste.

Excellent place, One can visit this peaceful place to spend quality time with their loved ones. Most importantly I would suggest you to try 'Bhetki Fish Fry' it's a must try item.

Firstly Cafe Ekante is that part of Eco park that has options to walk around and enjoy the view. You have Dhaba Ajante, Cafe Ekante and the Houseboat restaurant. I visited the houseboat with a group of 15. We wanted to book a day in advance but was denied, we wanted the menu to look at which they have not uploaded online or even on FB page which is weird! If you want to visit the Houseboat you can Only order Chinese.not sure of the business logic here. I would recommend the houseboat for the ambience.not the food. Main course was better than starters in terms of price and portion. But we were happy with their special nolen gur ice cream and caramel custard. Main course and starter prices for non veg items are around 250-300+ per plate. They had cold drink but not fresh lime soda! Overall I think the management is not too interested in generating great reviews for their food.the view is doing the job anyway to get business.

Awesome views, Very nicely decorated and planned area, Covering big area with a big lake. Located in the heart of Rajarhat, it is at the back side of the Eco Park. The main attraction is the centrally situated Lake and the refreshing greenery. People can stay at Cafe cottage or dine in at Cafe Ekante. Bengali and Chinese two main cuisines are available in separate restaurant. Food is good in terms of quality and quantity. Prices are quite on higher side. The ambience is really good for spending time with friends and family. Ample car parking space. Ultimate place for Photography because of the close to Nature theme. Must try Nolen Goor er Ice Cream

The lady in the reception does not knw how to bahave properly with people who r visiting the resturant.c was unhelpful and indiscipline.worst experience from side.

Excellent location but not worth value for money. They charge quite e lot for their different cuisines. Though we haven't tried out their Chinese cuisine but the Indian section was totally stale and badly smelly. The cold drink served could be rather considered as a hot drink. The cappuccino served was a normal hot coffee. I guess they don't understand much between a normal hot coffee and a cappuccino. Overall rating I would give a mere 20 out of 100.20 only for the excellent location

They serve stale food and after I tried to complaint, no one Senior is ready to face the issue on floor. They are really playing with customer health during this pandemic situation.
I ordered for rice, hilsa, paturi, mango chutney and all bhaja. But the mango chutney was stale and the authority is absolutely Ok with it.

Ambience is mesmerizing! Just mesmerizing! If you plan to come here in the weekend with your family or partner this maybe is the best place to crash. Hospitality is great. Stuffs are very nice and humble. Food are at a higher price though with medium quality & quantity.
We ordered both chinese and bengali dishes. Bengali dishes are really preferable and chinese dishes is not really good. I would personally suggest to try বাসন্তী পোলাও, ঠাকুর বাড়ির Mutton কষা, পোষ্তোর বরা here.

A government hotel, cud be on PPP model, staff r courteous but ud not go an extra mile to make ur visit memorable. Location is quite different, one time visit at the location for an experience is must

The restaurant is very good. It has well ambience, well behaved staff, food quality is too good, but range is slightly high. The place is too calm. If u want to grab or take the mesmerizing environment my recomendation is to go to the place at evening and night dine out also. Properly sanitised and clean place side of the lake.

Absolutely loved the taste of the Food. From the starters to the desserts, its a 10/10. Not very spicy and but it was full of a rich taste. Costs are higher but then the massive arrangements are commendable. Very well-behaved staff. Proper sanitization facilities are available.

The view is simply breathtaking.
A boatride will take you to the cafe. And yes it is free of cost and you will be returned to the shore from the island via the same boatride.
If you are lucky like me to get a seat by the glass walls with the view of the lake.it will be an experience worth remembering.

When we go any restaurant, glasses of water are first served. This is the show of courtesy to the esteemed customers. They, specially children, with them need. I am to shockingly state that this restaurant is the exception. There is no tissue papers kept ready. This is another disturbing feature. Anyway, the preparations are good, delicious and the special item served us is well prepared, this is considered to be a relish dish. Goodnight.

While the ambience is very good, service is not. Waiting staff is polite but the service is very very slow. I would advise to skip this place on weekends because the added rush will only increase the waiting time.

Wooooow, absolutely amazing place with tasty fresh bengali food, beautiful view, courteous stuff, very reasonable prices. Food was delicious. Would recommend to everyone to go and try out this place. They also have amazing buffet for jus 950rs, and to be honest its one of the best buffets in town! Delicious bengali food!

In the midst of a huge water body, there is an Island which is accessible by Road if you do not enter the eco tourism park or by a boat (free service to n fro) if you enter the park and want to go over there. There is two sections. 1. House boat section. 2. Normal restaurant. Outside seating is also available if you visit in evening.

Fish Fry was brilliant. Dal was also good. But chicken tikka and paturi was very very poor. Quantity is less than i expected. Really disappointed in terms of food. Below average.

Splendid nature with blend of Island water and palm trees. A romantic plane for dine, boat ride and simply sutting by the side of huge waterbody with hand in hand. Night stay in cottages may set a new level of experience. Food not so good yet ok. A platter was good.

The cafe is situated in Eco Island in the middle of the lake. Boats are available which take the customers from the shore to the restaurant. The most amazing thing about it is the breathtaking view outside. This is basically a Bengai fusion type restaurant. It also has arrangements for rooms for rent.

Cafe Ekante is a resturent between EcoPark. It is an awesome restaurant for lunch or dinner. Especially for lunch.it is very well decorated and workers are really very good and they also have a polite personality. Very good for family and friends. You can get authentic bengali food here also you can taste the Mongolian food like tandoori. But according to me it is best for bengali dishes. DAB CHINGRI is very good. If u want to pamper your tounge with delicious home made bengali food so this is an awesome place to eat. Opps.the most important thing is u can enjoy a riverside view from there and this restaurant provides a free ferry system among EcoPark to Ecoisland.

Staff service is poor and the servers are totally confused as to which table ordered which item. The food is good. The biggest catch is that one can take the boat ride back to mainland only if they show the bill from the cafe. This is simply ridiculous. This info is also not given at the beginning thus trapping customers in the island who have to take a kilometer long bridge back to mainland.

Good but dont expect too much just a mediocre budget AC restaurant.nothing else.location and the ambience is the catch.

Why are the meals prepared ab initio.leaving no choice with diners.meals must be prepared to the requirement of the diner.and forced to lump whatever id readymade.we are prepared to wait.luchi with shahi chicken was a horrendous combination. This was offered to us as we wanted less spicy chicken kadhai.the dish was already prepared hot which could not be prepared fresh with less spice! What an excuse.so u lump shahi chicken.absolutely woeful.please look into this. Regards
