I am glad I decided to have dinner in this restaurant during our stay. We ordered a bengali thali and the food was to die for. The mishti doe, aloo posht and the fish was excellent. The ambiance was typical Bengali and I loved it. Service was exquisite. Would go again. The restaurant is within the hotel so within easy reach.

Aaheli Bengali Cuisine Restaurant left us disappointed with unauthentic recipes and tasteless dishes. The Posto Boda, Channa Kofta, and Moong Dal lacked flavor, with the Channa Kofta notably featuring more maida than channa. Even the supposedly simple Bengali-style Moong Dal tasted better prepared at home. The Posto Boda was stale, and the fish fry my cousins ordered wasn't washed properly, emitting a strong odor that led to us discarding it. The plates were also unclean, requiring replacements. Despite expressing our concerns, there was no effort from the manager or chef to replace the dishes or address the issue, leaving us unsatisfied after spending a hefty amount. It appears that the restaurant's popularity might be more of a hype than an authentic culinary experience.

We were attended by Ujaal. Ujjal was very attentive with work and knowledgable on the cuisine. He also arrange a cake for our parents anniversary.
Food was amazing and we had a great experience overall

We had a delightful experience at Aheli enjoying authentic Bengali cuisine. The hospitality was outstanding, with an extra mile from the staff to make our time special. The food was exceptionally good, and we had a wonderful time. Grateful for the excellent service and delicious meals!

The food was really bad. Gobi subji was loaded with sugar and the fish tasted a few weeks old. Not to mention the prices were to high.

Had tried their both veg and non veg thali which was specifically curated for the occasion of bhaifota, Quality and Quantity was pretty good, Specially their luchi and kosha mangso was just wao and don't miss their misti doi.

Peerless Restaurant is a cheating restaurant. They pick pockets during the day. The cuisine is nothing like that but the prices are amazing. Don't go there if you don't have thousands of rupees in your pocket. And in Calcutta, restaurants like Bhajahari Manna offer good Bengali food at fair prices. Tourists do not cut their throats. In the beginning they were good. But lately they got extremely greedy! Unfortunately!

Very sorry to see a nice establishment going downhill. The food is just real bad. Starting from lassis and drinks to entrez, every item on the menu is just awful. It was perhaps the worst meal we had in Kolkata. To top it all, it is super expensive. Avoid this place.

Recently visited Aaheli restaurant and had a Bhuribhoj Thali along with Lal Lonka die Murgir Jhol.it was worth d try.the thali can be shared by 2 people along with ala carte.as the quantity and quality served was 'A' class.the ambience was also awesome.strongly recommend.

Koushik really made this authentic Bengali dining experience even more enjoyable. This is the place to come for real Bengali food.

Aaheli (আহেলি) is a purely bengali food restaurant. Different type of very special mouth watering veg and non veg bengali dishes are available here. Almost every spcial bengali food items starting from green coconut water are available here. It is situated at Esplanade the heart of the Kolkata. More precisely in the 1st floor of Hotel Peerless inn. The rates are moderate, behaviour and hospitality is is very good. Car parking available.

Bon appetit! Amazing place for authentic Bengali food. Lots of variety. It is a restaurant in premise of 4 star hotel peerless inn. Taste of every item is unique and authentic. Staff is welcoming and active even when most of the kolkatta is shut. Though price is at a little higher side. But if you miss visiting this place. You have really missed good food.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants which serves authentic Bengali cuisine.
Ambience: A perfect Bengali setup. While most of the staffs wear Bengali apparel, the art and decor may not be easily attached with Bengal tradition.
Hospitality: Based on their brand and price, hospitality is definitely below par. They don't take the initiative for customer delight. In fact they have to be poked enough for getting details of particular menu.
Food: No doubt the taste is good, but does it worth the cost? Question arises for few of their marque dishes. Also it is very surprising that they have hardly any option for people who follow jain type of food.
Overall it's good for non vegetarians but definitely over priced

Aaheli is unique for their collections of beglali dishes. And the BANGALIYA* that they maintain in their restaurant to decorate the table, like they uses Diya* or Pradip* insted of candel or light to decore each nd every table.that was lovely

Very disappointed with the food. The place is overhyped where bengali cuisine is concerned. Food is very average and some items too pricey.there are many better option around Kolkata if someone is looking for bengali cuisine. Ambience is ok, but found no logic in the staff wearing dhuti panjabi /saree in a cheap fabric and awful colour.it hardly adds to the BANGALI feel. And stay away from what they serve as mishti doi.it's anything but that.

Had a Delicious lunch today
Bhuri Bhoj menu, Bangladeshi chicken toast, paturi, ilish were lip smacking and drooling. Loved all the menu items.we are probashi bengali, hence miss all time bengali home food. So whenever we come back to home town don't misz tasting authentic bengali cuisine, hence visiting once in a while is always my choice

Food was highly overpriced, but we expected an exceptionally good taste. But, taste was not even close to good Bengali restaurants. A piece of Eelish Paturi costs around 2300 and Dab Chingri (5 pcs only) costs 1495. They serve Govinda Bhog rice as their plain rice, but we found insect in it. Again I'll say taste was below average. Only Kolkata Kosha mangsho was good with Basanti polao, but portion size is very less as compared to price. Kolkata Kosha mangsho (4pcs) costs 695 and was served in a small plate with very less gravy. Sorry for not clicking pics of food because it was not worth it. If you have a lot of money left to spend, please go ahead and visit Aaheli (Peerless Inn).

Ambience food quality is very good. Even the quantity was sufficient for 2. The only thing I want to say that the prices are higher than the mentioned price in Zomato. Rest everything are good.

I generally do not give such harsh reviews but I have to do here. On 22th of December we had ordered Ahelir Rajbhoj Thali from Aheli Axis Mall, Rajarhat New Town. The thali was totally overpriced as compared to the quality and other popular Bengali cuisine like Bhojohari, Soloana Bangalee, koshe kosha. They are far more better than Aheli.
All the items are just casual and not up to the mark as per their prices. I don’t except that from the most popular and recognized cuisine like Aheli.
That was my first and last time to that restruarant. Please use authetic bengali cooks or cooks who know how to cook the Bengali dishes properly. You are charging the food as per top level but when comes to the quality you are not compromising. The Murgir jhol was really pathetic. It was like normal regular based roadside dhaba.

Great food. Authentic Bengali cuisine. Must try the thalis which allows you to try portions of everything. The thalis should ideally be consumed by more than one person

Worthless food had taken this restaurants. Over price food and serve very little amount. Food is not tasty at all and smells in mutton. Waiters are unprofessional and not guided the customers properly. Also mentioned they charge for 6 pcs of mutton recipe aprox ₹1.5k excludes GST.

This is resturant of peerless inn, near to dharmtala and park Street, food is but commensurate price is too high. Service not up to the mark. It's better other restaurants in the locality.

Each and every food I have tried is tasty. Daab Chingri, boneless Hilsa are mind blowing. It must be mentioned that each item included in Veg Thali is delicious in terms of taste.

Fantastic place for authentic Bengali cuisine. Decor and ambience is relaxing and inviting. Well dressed and courteous staff. The dishes are wonderfully prepared and presented. The rates are high, but worth a visit if looking for a fine dining experience. Valet parking available

Had lunch. The staff was very coordial and smiling. Food had hardly any aroma, taste was very basic and was not that hot. Overall a bad experience.

Aaheli is one of the best bengali restaurants in Kolkata serving authentic Bengali cuisine. While being served royally in 'kashar' thala bati, soft Bengali instrumental music adds grace to the beautiful ambience. Do try the kosha mangsho here and I would definitely suggest having their veg/non veg thali to get a proper Bengali cuisine experience. The best part is the staff are very courteous and professional with the service.

Very expensive compared to the quality and quantity of food. Space is an issue. Service was slow. Will not recommend to anyone.

Authentic bengali food without a doubt and sumptuous to say the least.i ate my hearts fill and couldnt come back for seconds although there was no dearth of the same.just too yummy for the tummy.thali with full of bengali dishes.ambience is so good and delicate.quite expensive but still worth it.we tried thali and hilsa fish.unforgettable payes with lichi.and you can't share your thali.you must have to order something else, if needed or not no matter! That is disappointing

The food was rubbish. Exorbitant pricing. I would suggest please dont go to aheli to it's one of the worst bengali food restaurant in kolkata. My day was spoiled very upset.
