Aami Bangali Restaurant Saltlake

It was a worst experience, the food was cold. Got just Mutton curry, where the curry was just water with 0 taste. Only the fish finger was Good.

I ordered kochupata chingri bhapa rice bowl through zomato. And I had gone pain to finish the food. Prawns was totally dry as well as kochupata. I ate the food only because I have respect for food grain and my husband's hard earn money.

It was an awesome experience.food quality is like infinity star ️. This is the best bengali traditional restaurant in salt lake area in my opinion!

The food was totally awesome. A one stop for foodies at reasonable cost. Famous for their Bengali cuisine. The chicken thali contains: rice, mug dal, jhuri alubhaja, one sabji (we got fulkopi r dalna), chicken kasa bhuna (2pc) etc and all for just rs 210/-. Most importantly the ambience is quite good. This place represents the authentic Bengali cuisine. The mutton jhol that we have tried the other day is also quite good.

Small seating area but well themed restaurant. Wall paintings are nicely done. I mentioned two point that are leakage of water from sink and number of staff is less than usual.

Foods are undoubtedly good and delicious.foods price is pocket friendly here you can get "thali" service.the interior is beautiful it's from bamboo decoration.a Kolkata flavor you can get.service is a little bit poor.

Worst restaurant. This restaurant is located in salt lake sector I. This is worst restaurant of salt lake sector I area. They charge too much for food it's too much expensive. Food quality is worst. They provide very limited products. Locality wise it is good as it is located near pnb more. If you don't have any options then you can explore food here but my suggestion is not to visit because price is also too much high.

I always have this soft corner for authentic bangali food and keep on trying out places serving the delicious of Bengal.
I happened to be at sector1 saltlake and visited this outlet for lunch.

I had the special fish thali and I was amazing.
There was Sona moong Dal, basmati rice, aloo Posto, katla curry, papad, chutney and Ghondhoraj lebu.

The fish curry was a soft tomato-onion based curry with apt amounts of masala and spices.
The fish was soft, succulent and fresh.

The aloo Posto and daal tasted just like the comfort food from our homes.

Complete with sweet chutney and papad.

I highly recommend this place for bangali cuisine lovers.

Majority of the items in menu card were not available. Also the restaurant staff were very casual and unprofessional. Zero hospitality! Food was average.

If you want to have some good Bengali Cuisines then aami bangali is the place you must look for.this outlet is located near salt lake seactor 1 near PNB.this time we tried their chicken thali which contains: ️rice, ️mug dal, ️jhuri alubhaja, ️one sabji (we got fulkopi r dalna), ️chicken kasha bhuna (2pc) and ️chatni and all for just rs 210/-. The food was excellent and the chicken, dal, alubhaja are highly recommended.we also tried the kacha aamporar sorbot which was refreshing and delicious The ambience was equally good and cozy also the behavior of the staff was also courteous. Altogether had a wonderful experience and will definitely visit their other outlets soon. ️

This is bengali cuisine restaurant. Here Bangladeshi dishes also available.recently I visited this place with my family. Decoration is nice. Seating capacity also great.

So I tried

1. Rice with one green chili and one slice lime.

2. Alubhaja
This was crispy and perfect.

3. Vegetable daal
Daal was really good. Perfectly cooked.

4. Chicken kasa (2 piece)
Chicken was very juicy and tender. Gravy also tasty. Nicely cooked.

5. Aam pana
I loved it

Quantity and quality both perfect. I loved this place very much. Service is good.

It's a lovely place to have some authentic bengali food.
Inside was nicely decorated and seating arrangement was cozy.
I orderd steamed rice, chicken, daal and aloovaja. Along with I took aam panna.
All the items were not only good in taste but also very good in quality.
Munching on jhuri jhuri aloovaja with sona mug daal in a cozy atmosphere and that too in a very reasonable price. So what else do you need?
Just go and try it.
(Recommended items are aloo vaja, chicken)

Bengali Cuisine is always been my favourite as of course I am bengali and it's also become hard to find and choose restaurant serving authentic Bengali Cuisine as often it doesn't meet my tastebud as habituated at home

Though few days ago I visited Aami Bangali Saltlake outlet for my lunch and have CHICKEN THALI contains Steamed Rice + Chicken Kasa + Jhuri Aloo Vaja + Daal.
All the items have really the homely feel, Chicken pieces were scrumptious

Salt Lake outlet is coped with 25+ seating arrangement for comfortable dining.

Must RECOMMENDED for BENGALI CUISINE

The food (rice) wasn't hot enough, which was served to us.when there was a larger group they served hot steaming rice.
They have no aqua guard to serve proper water.we have to purchase mineral water if required.but a restraunt should have an aqua guard.why should one spend on water.
Expected a warmer welcome.
Would never visit.

If you've got money to splurge on eating out, you won't be disappointed with Aami Banfali and Thali here just cannot get better. The lip-smacking variety include Rice, Dal, Alu Bhaja, One Sabji (PhulKopi Alu Torkari), 2 pcs. Chicken Kosha Bhuna and 1 Chutney. End the meal with cool Aam Panna to soothe you down this season. These serve as really extensive meals that are bound to leave you extremely satisfied.

Previously ordered non-veg thali from the place & really like the quality and taste of the food hence this time visited one of the outlet located at Salt Lake, Sec 1 few steps further from PNB bus stop and my opinion remain the same this time as well. I tried their authentic bengali veg thali which consist of steamed rice, all time favorite jhur jhure aloo bhaja/ Crispy potato fries, spicy Aloo gobi curry, daal with peas & last but not the least tomato chutney and finished my meal with very refreshing Aam Panna. Truly recommended this eatery as it's provide qood quality & quantity of food at very reasonable price.

Last week went to this amazing restaurant to have their bengali cuisine. They are serving delicious lip smacking and finger licking food at pocket friendly price. Loved the ambience and their hospitality. We have tried-
Basmati rice
Jhuri alubhaja
Chicken kosha

Taste was awesome. Chicken kosha was too good. Would love to visit again.
