Location wise too good. Mr. Bhandari is really really very helpful. He is a nice and really a go to person.

Kudos to Mr. Robin who cooked finger licking food for us, Mausam who helped whatever we need and Mr. Suban who drove us in the hills and have lot of patience to get us stopover for capturing numerous moments.

It was horrible experience during my 1 day stay at Abiraj Homestay. The staffs are unprofessional and they don't bother about room servicing at all. The geyser switch is set up outside which means you need to reach out to staff member everytime you need to use hot water. The quality of the food is also bad and staffs are unprofessional and rude. Think 1000 times before opting for Abiraj Homestay at Tinchuley.

Location is very good. Service is also fine. But better to call it a hotel rather than homestay. All rooms are packed here in season will definitely ruin your mental peace as its get chaotic. Beside, they have few bedroom attached with their dinning room which is cherry on the top to spoil your privacy and peace. Who made bed room in dinning hall! If you want to book, please ask them before booking not to provide any room near dinning place. I will not visit here again. I dont feel any homely vibe here at all.

Probably the best homestay in Tinchuley. The place is amazing. The owner and the service staff are very friendly. The hospitality, food, view everything about it, is just awesome.

In 2016, I visited the place, and from then Mr. Bhandari become my friend. His hospitality is heart touching. And again in 2022 I have visited the place, lots of things are changed, the homestay becomes so big now but Mr.bhandari remains same. Placed at an approximate distance of 1 km from Tinchuley Monastery, Abiraj Homestay is a budget stay in Darjeeling, offering round-the-clock room service to its patrons. Siliguri Takdah Bus Stand is situated 27 km away from the property.

The location is very nice, the atmosphere of homestay is very nice, you can enjoy your refreshing trip, one thing i like to share this homestay can accommodate 35-40 people.

It was a Lovely stay, we Booked the stay for 1 day i.e. On Saturday and checked out on Sunday, for 6 people, Per person it was around 1500 with food included, the place is beautiful and rooms are good, all amenities are available. And also there is a shop with the homestay in case if you need snacks and other things.if you need any drinks that's available too.there is a specific fireplace for barbeque, and the food was very homely, fresh and tasty. 100% Recommend, the owner and staffs were good too.if you are reading this review, and thinking to book a stay, i assure you can book with confidence, you will have an amazing time there.

Pine trees, a tea garden, a cow shelter, and a spectacular panoramic view of the horizon aligned with the hilly and mountain ranges that continuously changed their colors from the homestay all we witnessed together in this place.

Rooms didn't had any sofa or cabinets, for which it was difficult to keep the uncluttered. Otherwise, location wise it was good. Food was average. For hot water, it was needed to be asked when ever required.

Perfect location just beside the pine forest.walking distance from Gumba Dara view point.owner of the homestay is very nice person.foods are awesome.size and the position of the rooms is very good but a little bit lack of maintenance and cleanliness.specially the carpets and cousion covers of old rooms are dirty and need to be changed.but the newly built rooms are good

Staying in Abiraj Homestay is really a nice and enjoying experience, fantastic views of Sunrise, adjacent Hills, Tista River, Pine Forest from the homestay which everyone wants to see, specially seeing Kanchenjunga range from the homestay (if environment is not cloudy). Though the best Kanchenjunga view can be seen from Gumbadara View Point near about less than 1 km from the homestay. The homestay is surrounded by a tea garden.

Owner Abiraj Ji is very polite and always ready to help. Staffs are well behaved, cooperative and helpful.

They provide homely food which we feel very good in taste, dining experience also very good. Please don't expect foods are prepared like 3/5 star hotel or restaurant. We stayed in wooden rooms which are specious but need some more maintenance. My suggestion is to book the concrete rooms. I think they have 6,4 and 2 bedroom (concrete rooms, 1st and 2nd floor) options (apart from the wooden rooms). Geyser is available in the bathroom. Hot Water they serve if needed.

Mr. Abiraj arranged pick up and drop service to/from NJP/Darjeeling. He can also arrange cabs for sightseeing purpose. Drivers provided by the owner also very good.

I can suggest Abiraj Homestay is one of the best place to stay in Tinchuley……!

Food and location is very good. Hospitality of the home stay is very pleasant. Some rooms are very modern but some are very old fashioned.

Spent 4 days amidst Nature. Abhiraj Homestay has several advantages, which makes it better than any other Homestay. The location is very appropriate as one can get perfect view of Sunrise, Kunchenjunga, Tea Garden, South Sikkim sitting in the Cottage. Abhiraj Bhandari, the owner, is very simple and down to earth and so is his team of staff. Food is superb. One will hardly find anything to complain about. Our stay was a memorable one.

Abhiraj is a beautiful man. Many times I come here. Superb view of kanchanjungha from terrace. Good food, nice wooden rooms.

Location wise it's a excellent place to view the sunrise & kissing of 1st sunlight to Kanchanjangha. The location of the Abhiraj Homestay is prefect blend of nature, kanchanjangha, Dense forest & scenic beauty.

Food quality is below average. Not even warm. Room service OK type.
Hospitality is not that good as expected.
When we cancelled the bonfire with marinated chicken the behaviour was not that good.

The Thrilling adventure of the Dense forest just in front of Aviraj Hotel is never forgettable.

If the food quality & hospitality is improved it will be the best homestay in Tinchuley as geographically it's the best location.

Home Stay is excellent. Both wooden and contrete rooms are available. Neat and clean rooms and toilets. Food quality is so good. The staffs are very polite. Abiraj Ji, the owner is so hospitable. The home stay is itself a view point. Must stay here if you love nature and solitude.

অসাধারণ জায়গা। ৬৬ বিঘার চা বাগান এই হোমস্টে সংলগ্ন। যেখানে অবাধে ঘুরে বেড়ানো যায়। চা বাগানে, কিছুটা নীচে নেমে গেলেই 'স্লিপিং বুদ্ধ'-এর দর্শন পাওয়া যায়।

Mr. Abhiraj is frud. Scam with all people. If You book wooden bedroom and you will be provided concrete room.and if you talk about for this room, then Mr, abhiraj talk with you very roughly. He say to me. "jada bakbak karoge toh rat me ghar se nikal ke dark forest me chod dunga". I personally don't recommend to book this homestay.

Bad condition of room. Very bad behavior from the owner Mr. Aviraj Vandari and alsow of his caretaker. The food is alsow very poor and bad quality. There is a cicitv camera placed at balcony, which can capture all activities of the rooms. All of the rooms are not wooden.

Few wooden rooms are available and maximum rooms are concrete.
1) CCTV is wrongly place and it's capture all activities in the room.
2) broken besan.
3) No shower and no hand shower.
4) Room light is not enough.
5) broken bed.

Cozy and nice room awesome food quality abiraj and his family is a nice person and helpful.visitors are requested don't follow mr. Jishnu bhattacharya's post. I was present there that time and they were totally drunked and asking for unnecessary things which are not available with abiraj and after several time mr abiraj "request" them for not to do that still they didn't stop and then abiraj himself ask them to leave because other visitors was feeling uneasy.they didn't pay the room rent and fooding charges also.pls close your eyes and select abiraj Homestay

Extremely bad experience.
Location is not bad neither other staffs, but the very behavior of the individual Mr. Abhiraj is unduly arrogant and too abominable.

The place is too awesome. The behavior of everyone there is so good that you won't get it that you are far away from home. They are too caring about the guests. The food quality and quantity both are too good. And the taste- its just finger licking. And the most important thing is the peoples behind everything- Abhiraj vaiya, his hosting and behavior is too good. And songs sang by Saimon vaiya- His guidance for the trip was also worth saying.

A very nice Homestay in Tinchuley. The location and views from the homestay was fabulous. The rooms were pretty nice n cozy. The behavior of the owner and the staff was very very nice n helpful. Highly recommended to fellow travelers from my end.

Nice place to stay with family and friends, not much to do, can go for walks, trekking, visit tea gardens, stroll through forest. They provide breakfast, launch, evening tea with snacks and dinner all paid up @600 per head. Room rates can be negotiated directly with Mr. Abiraj

This is the best home stay I have ever been. Food quality is very good and its all home made food even most of the vegetables are their own production organically. The staff and the owner Mr Abhiraj is very good person and treated us like anything. Tinchule over all is nice and quite place and if they have the best view rooms for Kanchanjhagha. Its a worth stay and her economical. Please do visit.
