We had planned our 25 yrs of school reunion at ADB Kanvas. I must say ADB's hospitality for our entire group of 25 ppl was outstanding. They have done everything as we had requested to make this event a lifelong memory for each of us. Special thanks to Mr. Rinku for being there to support us throughout our stay at the resort. Thank You ADB Kanvas for being such a wonderful host!

We had some wonderful time at ADB Canvas last week. We were a large group of 25+, staying during peak long weekend holidays. But still we got fantastic service from them and their property is top notch in that area. Special thanks goes to Mr Rinku for always extending his support in providing all possible solutions to our demands in best ways. Highly recommended for family outings, get together parties and corporate outings.

Adb kanvas resorts is a very nice place to stay. It has great ambience, good quality food and the staffs also look after the requirement of the guests. Most of the rooms in the hotel are well maintained and sea facing. Overall it is one of the best resorts in mondarmoni. So investing time and money are totally worth it. This was my 10th year going to this resort it is still beautiful as ever

ADB kanvas is excellent hotel. Beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great stuff. Everything about the hotel was exceptional.food was very good.and 30 th and 31 st arrangement was excellent

It's Too far almost extreme and, rooms are below average, rooms service is like a road side food stall, staff behavior is normal but duty manager behavior is like Dabang gunda, cottage side pools are so dirty, only good thing wich can feel u good is sea side view from garden lounge it's remarkable,

Nice place to hop in. Speically the cottages are great with private mini pools. Service needs to improve

Hotel Reception manager behaviour very very bad. Not providing Wel come drink. And sweeming condition just poor no music & lights.over all I am not satisfied.

These days, there have been a number of hotels in various cities, towns and countries. From when I was young to now, I have visited many inns since I loved to travel to somewhere. I had any feeling and impression about hotels where I have been before I became eighteen years old. Hotels were just hotels that I needed to stay for the night. No more than that I thought. Before I went to Canada to study English in 2011, my family had a plan to travel somewhere and stay in a hotel for my farewell in Korea. After we visited many attractions, we were heading to the hotel that we made a reservation. When I saw the entrance of the hotel, I was surprised at first, and when we went inside of the hotel, I was surprised again. For two days, I was very impressed and I thought a lot in positive ways. I always had a desire to visit again and I wanted to get a hotel like that inn. It was the first time for me to know what I want to become. The trip to the hotel was totally changed my life and my dream.

When we arrived at the hotel, a man, who looked a staff, did valet parking service for us, and we moved to the desk to get a card key. We certainly checked in and we followed the guide of one of the employees. He let my family get in a cart, and he guided us to our room where we reserved before we came here. While going there, small waterfall and many various flowerpots welcomed us. I could see that our room was being close to us, which was designed as a modern building.

Best in budget, with pool, children playing area, Dj sounds, personal beach and more importantly the FOOD.

Let me enlighten you with my experience all together.

Pros:

Resort location is just perfect, it has a private beach attached to it. Resort gate straightaway opens up to the beach, you really don't need to go anywhere.
Resort looks cool, with beautiful decorated buildings, parks, a small pet house, place for chilling out infront of beach, big pool area with fountains. Private pools are plus point which comes with private bungalows/cottages. Complimentary breakfast was wholesome. Will attach pictures so that you have an idea, what they serve. Food is delicious. Just that they have less variety in ala-carte.
We had some issues while arriving at the resort. And those issues persisted throughout our trip. But was taken aback by manager's professionalism and patience.

Now let's come to the part, why 2 stars?
1. ILL-BEHAVED staffs: Multiple scenarios to describe. Firstly, we booked 3 rooms, all the 3 rooms were at very bad condition. We complained about the same, but the staffs replied - "Nothing can be done, this is alright, we are running with this for the last 10years. People visit here daily and we are full almost throughout the year"
Staffs had a fight with our driver and his charger was stolen.
2. UNDER-MAINTAINED AMENITIES: Everything would have been great, if the resort was well maintained. Big pool was dirty and a foul smell was coming out of it. Fountains don't run. Music was only played on request or not played at all. All the rooms provided to us had problems - broken door locks, broken toilet seats, dirty toilets and broken jet showers, malfunctioning AC, night lamps not working, TV or Fridge doesn't work, plugs coming out of wall and at risky position, inter-com telephones not working/broken and the list goes on.
Major issue was, WIFI was NOT WORKING AT ALL!

I requested for room replacement, which the manager of the resort Mr. Sampat addressed and provided us with a suite room.
But after 2 days, we were requested to shift again since there was a booking already:)
Proper miscommunication and mismanagement amongst team members.

Resort charges are more or less similar to other resorts around them. Just didn't expect this much bitterness.

I do not recommend.

We booked rooms at ADB Kanvas for a family trip. All of the three rooms we booked had some problem or the other.

The rooms had the door lock broken and an air conditioner that almost doesn't work. The bathroom appliances and toilet seat were broken. Bathroom wasn't exactly what one would call "clean". Many of the lights didn't work. Room's windows weren't clean. The cabinet fridge was aging and unmaintained. The WiFi doesn't work in the entire resort. So if you're looking for internet connection, you're left with the only choice of cellular internet.

The common areas were very dirty and unmaintained. Stray dogs enter into common areas like Gym and playroom and create a mess. In the attached picture of the gym, it shows that a stray dog vomited and that sat there overnight. The gym was stinking in the morning. The large pool was dirty and staffs started cleaning it only after asking them to. They don't get cleaned regularly.

The staff behavior is pathetic and very disappointing to say the least. The amount of ignorance and arrogance they've bred in their attitudes is unbelievable. Even after bringing all the above problem to their notice and asking them to be resolved, all they had to say is "We've been doing like this for the last 10 years. We cannot fix anything now. " The staffs don't attend to the problems and never attempts to get them fixed. The assistant manager is useless at best.

This resort has invested a lot in it's external looks and get ups. The internals are crumbling apart.

Now for the good points, the resort has a beautiful ambience. It has got a nice private beach and a gate that opens up directly into it. There are three pools, one large and common one and the other two are for the cottages. We were allowed to access the smaller private pools. The breakfast was delicious and food is of good quality.

Really good and homely place.this hotel is a bit far away bt is situated right on the beach.
Managers are really good. Food was also standard. It has recreational activities like swimming pool, baby pool, table tennis, carrom board and billiards. Many shacks all also situation right beside the hotel on the beach.

Behaviour of the service staff could be improved. Otherwise I would have rate it with 5 stars.

We went on weekdays so got a discounted price and an almost empty beach. Would definitely visit this place again.

Worst experience. 3 star property with 0 star service. Premium rooms having tarrif of 8k+ per night leaks water from ceiling during rains. Pathetic service from restaurant. Black tea takes an hour to deliver. Imagine time it takes for lunch and dinner even after informing 4 hours in advance. Waiters refuses to serve the food on plate. Even small restaurants has better service than ADB Kanvas.

Never ever in my life will I visit ADB Kanvas or for that instance any resort in Mandarmani. At 9: 30 pm freaking they ran out of beer. They claim that they are the best in town but its a hopeless place. If you want to visit planning to booze, then please stack up with booze from outside coz then dont have any option. Worst service ever. Please never visit this place.

One of the best hotels in mandarmani. Great service by courteous staffs. Rooms in the ground floor lack maintenance for few rooms. Mini fridges need to be changed as most of them dont work properly. Pool and lawn is amazing. Food is reasonable by rate and tasty as well. Overall great experience. Their buffet breakfast was a plus point which needs to be brought back. Showing covid guidelines they have stopped it, but they can have breakfast served in the room as well.

I had been a frequent visitor for mandarmani and surroundings. This hotel used to be one of my favorite before the pandemic/cyclones. The hotel has become one of the worst now, with lowest possible maintenance. The beds are full of bugs coming out at night, spider webs in washrooms. The pools are closed due to pandemic but the water is not drained and stinks. Staff behavior (not managers) although is good (i don't know if that is due to previously acquainted). Good property wasted in due time.

It's amazing resort. Ambiance is too good. Behaviour of every staff is too good. In one word my experience is fabulous.

Nice property with good amenities, except the reception person others behaviour was very good. We booked the cottage with private pool facility and enjoyed a lot. Wanna mention a staff name. Swapan da, who was our service person in the hotel and was very good to us and provided awesome hospitality. If you want to spend some time with your loved one in between raw nature with peace and then select ADB Kanvas once.

Probably the worst hotel in mandarmani. Staff harassed us. Staff named sampad guchait is still working there, he basically acted as a criminal with us. Don't visit with family

WORST HOTEL IN MANDARMANI. Staff behavior is pathetic. Don't waste your valuable experience on this hotel. Booked room no 1205 and had the worst experience ever. Staff sampat guchait harrased me and my wife for their own billing mistake. Management kept uneducated folks to deal with valuable customers. Will never visit again.pathetic experience. Have informed local bdo office and will also take legal action.

Rooms are average but clean. AC was working, TV sets needs maintenance. Charged Rs 3000 with tax but does not qualify for that price. (Room in pic)
Foods are average to good.
Plus point - Huge area, lawn, kids play area, swimming pool, sea deck, you get non stop service during evening for a great time with snacks and drinks.
Costly but can be considered for one night.

** Reception desk behavior need to be more polite and lot of improvements needed. Reception desk is the first impression. Owner must take a note of this. However, other staffs are polite.

Please do not book this hotel. It will spoil your trip experience. Staffs are the worst at this hotel. They're extremely rude and full bunch of illiterate folks. We are already taking legal action against staff sampad guchait, as he harassed us during our stay.

The hotel s layout is very good. We were staying in the Picasso suite. It has a 21 x 24 ft balcony overlooking the sea. That is extremely big and has an awesome view of the sea. The room is big with a Queen size bed (though they claim it as king-size but it's not). The food is expensive and the rooms are not taken care of properly. So it looks shabby. Faded plastic chairs jute covers. I ll maintained fridge. The bathroom has a bathtub but shabby. The getup in not worth the money. Because their tarrif rate is very high.

Hotel is very good to stay with family. Hotel manager & staff are really nice. Swimming poll and sea view are excellent

Meal quality is very good.hygiene maintained. Social distancing is not maintained. Service to customers needs to be improved.

Super ambiance. Rooms r very comfortable. U can sit outside of room and enjoy the beautiful sea. Overall. Excellent place to stay!

Rooms were adequately spacious with all expected facilities at this price point. Food was good and the staffs were helpful. Most of the rooms offer a great view of the sea. Checked for RTPCR reports /double vaccination certificate. Only cons, the pool was dirty and unsuitable for usage.

Really a great hotel to stay with family. Staffs are very friendly and having good behaviour. The pool is very attractive. Enjoyed the whole evening at sea side chairs.

Apart from fooding everything else was good. Prices of food as compared to the taste and quantity is very high. Else rooms and infrastructure is very nice.

Place is good. Some double bed room are expensive provided that there's no view from balcony. Food is not so good. Pool was dirty and they weren't cleaning or changing the water.

Room was not good. All the floor tiles were broken. There is a hell and heaven difference between the online room photos and the real picture of room. Although the sea facing cottage was available, hotel authority did not give the sea facing cottage since we paid the booking amount earlier. In this way they cheat the guests. If you want to spoil your mood you can opt for this hotel.

Giving 4 star because of poor service.
All other amenities were good.
Sea shore is so close to the hotel.
You will find pool too.
Was there on Holi and they have also arranged live concert that was amazing.

Most uncomfortable stay and survice is just so bad the reseption hang up your phone and does not respond it's like a holiday gone bad.if you wish to enjoy your stay don't stay here go to the hotel beside debraj they're much better

The place is awesome. We stayed in cottages, so the room and rest rooms were excellent. There were private swimming pools for the cottages. However, there are many restrictions, outside food and drniks not allowed, and every thing is checked at entry. The bar has limited stock and charges thrice the amount on MRP. Out of 2 main swimming pool one is under maintenance. The food price is also very very high and the snacks quality like fish finger, crispy chicken is also not good. Very limited items from the food menu is available.

Good reaort to hang out in mandarmoni, but service couldve been better.food was full of masala and cooked in leftover cooking oils.try and avoid the food, better options nearby

Do not visit this place. This place told us we had to pay rs4200 and then took away 5000rs from us. They don't even respect womens

It was a worst experience in this property, i was staying in Michael Angelo room with family, its too pricy firstly or we can put in this way its was not at all worth for money, they won't tell you from before but they will turn off the AC for more than 4 hours, you are paying for 24 hours AC room but don't get it. There room service is worst than you can expect, hotel staff is pathetic, Don't take any responsibilities for customers, other than the location every thing is bad about this hotel, had a worst experience, if i could thrn i won't give 1 star as well.

Third class. Worst hotel. They cheated customer. No respect to talk with visitors. Starting they will show low rate of everything but when u will check out they will show long bill. No good service. Food u order once u will get in two hours.

Perhaps The Only Best thing about the place is the beach-front. Though some rooms are spacious but the whole place cries for Maintenance.
Service wasn't value for money. Though the staff were miraculously polite compared to the guests.

Nice place with sea view. Food quality and the stuff behaviour is good. Good place for office party, conference even for families.
