They are the best brand in Kolkata. Sharing my experience here, so I had a flight to catch at 4PM and wanted to get my wedding sari delivered from them before I leave & send an Uber connect to collect my parcel but they were so dedicated towards customer care & concern that they actually sent one of their staff members to my house along with the Uber guy so that my parcel reaches me safely! Thank you Surojit da & team for the effort!

This is a 4 storied shopping mall for sarees. They have all varieties of sarees be it fancy party wear sarees or your different version of silk ones or your normal everyday wear cotton ones. This is also a good place to buy banarasi sarees or a place for your bridal dress. This is a one stop saree buying destination especially if you are shopping for your marriage function.
The staff are nice and cordial and they will help you out in all possible way. The better ones are the experienced ones who have a keen eye to understand your choice and take out accordingly.
They have almost unlimited stock to browse through.
They also have a lift inside their store to shortly move up and down.
The only disadvantage is that you need to do individual floor wise billing which becomes a botheration if you are buying from multiple levels. It is recommended that upgrade to a central billing structure in any one of the floors.

Not extremely huge collection, but not bad either.staff were definitely arrogant in the sense they will give u attention if they feel u r going to spend a lot. Gives a lot of stare if u ask to show more collection, if u ask to describe sarees, will tell u bare minimum details. Got a saree of 6k, told me it was pure silk but it seems semi silk, so price is not completely fair! Otherwise its an average experience not bad and not awesome

Quality sarees are available. Lehenga also available at ground floor. Huge collection of
Benarasi, Kanjibharam, Dhakai, Jamdani, Taant saree. Price is quite high but quality is very good. 1st washing service is free for Benarasi and high quality products.
Location is very good, space of the shop is also good. Whole store is air-conditioned.
There is a luggage counter beside the entrance.

Good collection of clothes. The range is huge. I even bought saree in Rs. 800. And it was very good in look and quality. But you need to ask sales person properly. They do not show those collection all time. Try to go there odd time of the day where rush is less.

Well they have 5 floors, but it's not easy to get to something unless you're sure of the price ranges and types already. Not a great place for discovering new stuff, but will get you options if you almost know what you need

It's a place of amazing collection of Bengali wedding sari specially Banarashi. The quality of the product is good. It's located near triangular park gariahut. Not all wedding sari but also kurta Panjabi available here. Price of the banarashi starting from Rs. 5000.

They have a good selection of sarees but as they have so many different floors, it’s very confusing and they made me go crazy going from one floor to another. The customer service in the first floor is just horrible.

Adi Dhakeswari Bastralaya: Panch tala mall purotai Sari means tere is an ads which tells A five stored building full of Sarees.
Really it is 10 minutes walk from Kalighat Metro towards Rubi. ADB has lots of stock to make a customer happy by there product.
I don't think that if anyone go there for purchasing any Saree she cannot return without purchasing nothing. They have Bros varieties of Saree for astonishing anyone.
Price is almost reasonable. The ago is popular for marriage sarees.

An old traditional bengali clothing store containing various traditional wedding attire namely benarasi for the bride, silk saree, dhuti panjabi for the groom and everything else worn in a typical bengali wedding!

Very good stock, one of the plus point of going there is that their staffs make the bride wear the sari so that they can get a distinct idea how she can look by wearing it. Lights are also good enough.

Very good variety of material available under one roof. Prices are reasonable. Staff very helpful and guide you too in purchases.
Visited here and got as whole lot of sarees. Old shop but good one

The salesman in the first floor silk section was horrible. He did not want to show us the saree we wanted and sent us to ground floor and third floor though the saree we wanted was behind him. We were harassed a lot because of him. This type of salesman should be kicked out immediately

Very unprofessional behaviour of staff. He started instructing on what customer should say instead of focussing on finding the right sarees. Very arrogant and rude. Staff members should be immediately reviewed

Surprise to experience such rude and lazy behaviour of these salesman here, including the cashier. Guys when there are lot many options how they can behave like this rude to customers who are God to all business.

Big shop, but discourteous staff. Unhelpful attitude. They show 2-3 saris and then don't want to show more. Expect visitors to find their way around in this complicated shop with no one to help. Store is divided in multiple sections with no person guiding about other's section. And when it's 9 PM, you better go out or be thrown out. Overall, they make you feel unwanted.

Have good collection of Saree. But the attitude of the sales persons are very unprofessional. They would keep quarreling among themselves in front of the customers. Sometimes they use foul language.

It's a renowned place for saree lovers, is situated at Triangular Park, Kolkata. It is a 5 floor building. Floors are differentiated by saree's type. The whole building is air-conditioned. It has security guard also. If you go their with heavy luggage, no problem will be occured. So, people who want to come here for shopping, can easily come with luggage. It also has a Punjabi section. The rate is slight higher than the normal shop. But, undoubtedly you can get here amazing sarees.

Persons at the Counter are not co-operative. Don’t wanna show products. We have gone to buy with exchange of money, they thinks that they are favouring us by showing 1-2 pieces of sharee.

Unprofessional behavior of the staffs. They are not at all interested to sell anything. Are they getting salary for passing the customers from one counter to another?

This is a very well communication & renowned Old standard Shop for various quantity & quality they have also a very good quality cum skilled sales & service working groups. This is an asset of of the city of Joy.

They sell very old sarees with very advanced price tag with no discount. Saree prices are at least 500 higher than standard price in behala market and other area famous for saree.

This super hyped place called Adi Dhakeswari bastralaya situated at a very prime location is a dream destination for many saree lovers. But unfortunately the salesmen behave very well with you when you go to buy but if you find any fault in your saree and you go to exchange it on the very next day then they behave with you rudely and make you wait as if you have done a mistake by finding defect in their saree. Us this your customer orientation? Sad to say that I would never again recommend your shop to anyone.

They have huge collections of Benarasi Sari and party wear salwar suit. Very courteous staff. They stitched the blouse in one day and home delivered the next day. I would definitely recommend my friends and family.

It is very old traditional brand. Interior of the shop is good and at per current trend. But Sarees are too expensive as well as there is less varieties available. If you have limited time and have to shop in that case you can opt otherwise can roam in other near by brands. The shop is designed like Nulli is shouth India but could not reach at their level of collection.

Terrible hospitality & behaviour. We had bought few benarasi sarees worth around ₹50000 for which they are supposed to perform falls, peeko for free of cost. Also they are supposed to provide net upon the saree. We did not know this when we went there for shopping. Shockingly none of the salesmen nor the cashier or the manager informed us about the same. We had come from a very far location and had spent a lot of cab fare for to & fro journey. Later we got to know about their policy of providing Falls, Pico & Net free of cost and contacted them. We asked them why none of the staff informed us about this policy even when we shopped for such a huge amount, they started behaving rudely. They initially told us to come again. When we said what about the huge transport cost, waste of time which we will be incurring now, they told us to go to hell and hung up the phone. When we called again, they started using improper language and then stopped picking up.
I would suggest all shoppers to visit other stores and not to go here. Better shops are available nearby.

I do not find the qualify of the saris to be ok as per their prices. Neither the salesman persons were interested in showing something good. They have a feeling that their name is big enough whether anyone purchases or not. We have good places than this to shop where you ll get very good service also as per your request.

Last night i went there for saree. Thy were sitting not interested to show to me anything. I ws feeling like a football.sending me One counter to another counter

A nice shop with huge stock of different varieties and for all class of people. Well behaved Salesmen. Close vigil of Proprietor (s) for better customer service.

My husband visited their store with my older sister to buy a Kanjeevaram saree for me. The store cheated them and sold an ordinary silk saree, saying it is Kanjeevaram. The border of the saree is NOT zari work.
I do not live in India, and I am very very disappointed. I would want my money back.
Customers if you do not know how an original kanjeevaram should look like and how to recognize it, then first gather the knowledge and then go to buy it from this store.

A posh traditional bengali clothing line situated in kolkata.this is one of the most trusted organizations for wedding shoppings during a traditional bengali wedding.a 5-flooried centralised traditional clothing shopping house you can say at the heart of south Kolkata.

As per internet, the shop closing time is 9pm but the employees closed it at around 8: 30 pm. I was inside the shop and waiting for my wife, but they restricted her saying the shop has closed. Even when i said that I would not do the transaction without her, the employees are least bothered. They do not care about the profit of the shop. The employees are so casual and unprofessional.

Adi dhakeshwari bastralaya is a textile shop which is located in ballygunge, Kolkata. They have pure cotton, mixed cotton, jamdhani, banaras and silk sarees too. But the price is too high for even normal Sarees.silk Sarees price starts from 8k.fixed rate. No discounts. There is no parking lot too.

This place is for someone who can afford garments of very high rates. The starting range sarees are not that great, which is also of very high price.
But the ambience and decoration of the shop as a whole is very good.

It is located in Mirania Gardens 2, lake Terrace, Ballygunge, Kolkata, West Bengal 700029. They have large stock of beautiful Bengal sarees & silk sarees. The staff were cooperative. No discount coupons are available on large purchase.
Prices are comparatively high respective to other shops. Pne drawback is that there is no parking space.

Impressive building, stock is ok although not much of a choice in different fabrics. Too many salesmen than necessary and most of them are not bothered about whether the customer buys.
Neither do they know how to welcome a customer nor do they know how to convert customer's interest into a sale.
The shop at Gariahat More used to be more warm and welcoming

One of the oldest and best sari shop in Kolkata at Gariahat. It has very good and latest collection of Bengal handloom sarees apart from other variety including wedding collections. It has a saree mall at Triangular Park close to Gariahat. This saree mall is the first saree mall in Kolkata.

They place may be a popular destination amongst ladies to shop for sarees but their staff especially the spectacled elderly gentleman who man's the cash counter on 2nd floor needs to take lessons on mannerism and customer service. After purchase of a saree (approx cost ₹ 3k) for my wife on 31 December 2018 and on being asked about any complimentary Falls n Pico, service (if any), the gentleman rudely replied stating that the complimentary service is not available for cheaply priced stuff. On being asked about as upto what threshold refers to cheaply priced stuff n beyond as I see all other kind of notifications but don't see any notification of illogical cheap and expensive classification in his office area, he got furious. The place appears to be a clear case of goodwill got into the head with poor customer handling traits.
