Ajanta Dhaba has been a part of my life since my childhood and I have seen it grow from a humble dhaba to a restaurant which is still popular after more than 25+ years of its existence.
Their tadka is yummy and has been their trademark item since long. They have started serving several other items out of which I did like their noodles and pav bhaji. A great place to have vegetarian food at budget friendly rates.
Not very hygiene conscious, if u see the kitchen.
Overall a good option for a vegetarian indian punjabi meal.
We are new to kolkata and had gone to Jadu babu bazaar and were looking for a place to have lunch. People directed us to this place and gosh, we got makki ki roti and sarson ka saag there (Punjabi food) and we loved it thoroughly. Would love to visit again.
Being a non-vegetarian, vegetarian food can only be so good. The food here is of good quality for the price. If you are a Vegetarian looking to eat out, this could be a good option in budget.
Food here is very tasty must try thier Ajanta Special Roll, Fried Rice, Hakka Noodles North Indian Thali is an best option to try Chai is available for chai lovers Owner is also very kind & gentle Jain Food Available Dine in will be not preferable by many they have small place not maintain properly other than that everything is okay
First time visited the place to satisfy the cravings for paneer roll. Bought paneer roll, veg roll and spring roll. Out of the 3, paneer roll is worth trying 2nd time. The rest were just ordinary. Good thing is u can get only vegetarian rolls here. No non veg items!
