If you are looking for the best biriyani option in Kolkata this is your place. Restaurant is very clean. The food quantity was awesome. The service was also good. Specially the behaviour of the owner and staffs are very friendly. You must try their icecream at the end thats cherry on top.

I had a great dinning experience at Alishaan. The food is amazing with a competitive price. The food along with the behaviour of the owners and staff makes the dining experience even better. The combo of mutton biryani and chicken chap along with the variety of kebab is lip smacking.

This would be the 5th time I have ordered from this restaurant and trust me the food is delicious as usual, portion size is very satisfactory. Not just that but their hospitality is on next level, while placing order they got to know its my birthday and they surprised me with a cake too, I was shocked because I have never encountered this level of humbleness and hospitality from any restaurant till date. Huge thanks to whole Alishaan team for making my birthday extra special, both the owners are extremely humble and courteous, Im never going to switch to any other restaurant ever. I'll pray that this restaurant grows and achieves new heights in future.

After trying almost all the biryani hubs around Madhyamgram area, I can say that Alishan serves one of the best biryanis which can stand against the likes of dbapi and dada boudi. Both the chicken biryani and mutton biryani were amazing. The mutton piece was succulent and the rice was quite light and tasty. I would definitely recommend the biryanis here.

Food quality and quantity both are good.the behaviour of owner is nice and environment is great.

I have tested motton biriyani & Chicken chap from here & test of Motton biriyani & chicken chap is too much better than D Bapi or Dada Boudi & price also not too much high as compared to others.

First of all the Biryani was exquisite which meets and exceeds the heavy hitters like Dada Boudi, Aminia etc. Perfectly cooked rice with no excess oilyness like that of Blue Nile accompanied by the chicken which is so soft that it can be eaten with a spoon no hands required. The chicken chhap could be better as the tender and juicy biryani chicken stole the show, still would appreciate its flavourfulness and lack of excess floating oil which is quite expected from a chhap.

The Biryani set the stage for the Tooty fruity Ice cream which is uncannily similar to that of Kwality walls fresh fruit ice cream with even more variety of fruits that I am mindlessly attracted to everytime I am withing 100meters of a Kwality walls stall. Can't decribe in words how much I appreciate this dish and would have given a five star based on the "on the mark" creation of it.

Finally the ambience is perfect except the smell of fresh paint which really isn't anyone's fault and probably will go away the next time I'll visit, otherwise its a fantastic place.

Today I had Hariyali Kebab and the Mutton Biriyani chicken chap combo from Alishan Cafe. The kebabs were very soft yet flavourful and melting in the mouth. The biriyani was very light and not oily at all which I liked along with the chicken chap which was immensely good and which I feel everyone should try from here. I would recommend everyone to try their biriyani combos and Kebabs!
