The food is seriously good. The portions were size worthy and it's not too much oily.

The biriyani was just all talk.
It had no flavour. The mutton had some salt inside of it. But the chicken was completely flavourless.
And it's costly as heck. I've eaten a lot better biriyani with 120 rupees in footpath biryani stalls.

Their service is quite fast and the food is always as great as other Aminia’s in town. Their Biryani is not like the light usual Aminia Biryani that’s available. But it will stand out to you. The ambience and the space is quite good. The waiting time might be higher on weekends during lunch time.

Yesterday we ordered Chicken Reshmi Kebab. But the chicken was not cooked properly and the major thing is that, there were insects in the food.

Aminia has been one of my favourite biryani spots and I'm glad that they're still maintaining their legacy with each day passing by. An exceptional and delightful experience. This is one of the best branches in Kolkata where one can get an all time experience of having the famous Kolkata Biryani and Mughali cuisine, as well.

Fully dry biryani served at dinner time, they gave us Biryani ka Tar which we asked in starting but he gives as per they want.

Ordered: - 1 mutton biryani
1 chicken biryani
1 boti kabeb
Rumali roti
Salad (onion was like Bad Daal diya)

Overall I won't go there anymore. I got one guest from Mumbai who taste Kolkata biryani after 9-10 years.
Bill was 1698/- he Gave 2000 (Rest was tip) still I feel we cheated.

Management please look into this.

Food, atmosphere, ambience, service, car parking, etc, were excellent. But, let me mention here that certain food items were not available with the reply with a smile "exhausted/not available" i.e. Faluda, shik kabab.
The remaining were very nice.

Terrible experience today. We had ordered chicken biryani and Handi chicken. Both are too much oily and unhealthy, taste wise pathetic. Price of every items are too much expensive. Moreover the staffs are not at all sincere, we are served with mutton biryani plate instead of chicken biryani. I really assume now that people are visiting here only because of the brand name. A big NO to AMINIA from our family!
Personally am suggesting everyone to visit other good restaurants nearby Aminia to enjoy the food.

Today visited Aminia after 3 years. Such a pathetic food quality and so so overpriced it has become. Just people are going for his set brand name but after today's experience I will never going to visit Aminia. 1. Ordered Handi Chicken- in return looks like we have got one bowl of oil with little floating chicken. Full waste of money. 2. Ordered Chicken Biriyani: price is 360 but can't even eat half of it. Such a oily worst biriyani. Don't know why this biriyani is this much famous. I would say Visit just near by Kareem's or Shimla Biriyani. Biriyani from those place is much much better. I would say such a worst food quality. Never ever going to visit this restaurant.

Mutton seekh kebab was bitter in taste it was horrible, over burnt, even after complaining the waiter no action was taken.
Service was poor as nobody was enquiring whether anything more we required.

1. Restaurant is not for Vegetarians. Don't go for veg food here.

2. Non-Veg portion size is too small as per the pricing.

3. Biryani doesn't come with raita. And portion size is not for 2. But the price is too high.

Not upto mark. Nothing special in the biriyani of aminia. Another thing. They don't change items if you ask after your order placed. Pathetic service as well.

A very good place for eating out. They serves one of the best Biryani in town. Tandoori rotis are Also very tender and all the chicken items are cooked very well. The Firni they provide serves as the cherry on top. They have the best firni in Kolkata. The essence of saffron is just perfect. You can taste the efforts behind it. The staffs and waiters are also very helpful and sincere. But the one problem is that you usually have to wait for few minutes before entering as they are usually full.

Great great great. Even hearing the name brings me happiness. Aminia is like a prayer- good food for a reasonable price. A good atmosphere and good staff and the most important thing- affordable. A mughlai version of hatari and to be honest I'm here for it

This is a great place for family and friends. You can have romantic dinner with your loved one. You will get good food for your money. This is not an expensive place but they deliver great delicious foods to you and it will be in your budget. They have home delivery facilities also. They have more than 4 branches in Kolkata.

Good place and good food. But just good! Not anything very extraordinary. Biriyani quantity is more than other biriyani outlets, but very oily biriyani. But I like the Aminia special Naan, its awesome but very pricy. Other Naan and tandoori items are on okay level of good. Remains very crowded on weekends. And although it may look so from the outside, it's not a place of fine dining, reference to the waiters, attending customers and the crowds as well. But the Roll counter outside is what truly rocks! Delicious rolls at minimal price. Mocktail is not good, very Watery.
