Aranya Jungle Resort

Hello all I was visiting resort.
My first experience of this resort is very good.staff, room, car over all facilities are extremely good.
After reaching home I found that one of my belongings I lost there but I m surprised that they people send me my belongings with their own cost to my address.
Thanks to all aranya staff.

Located near the Gorumara Safari Ticket counter (10mins walking or 2mins Toto ride 10/- per head) and also a small market area with cheap food and snacks option. The property itself is very well maintained and all the staffs are well behaved and very helpful. Jayashree, the manager is a Rockstar. She is very well informed and punctual with her services. Food prices are on the higher side but at par with other resorts around. Food taste and portion is good and enough. There is a watch tower with good view, that adds to the beauty. I recommend without a doubt for a lovely stay.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was a memorable experience. Hotel ambience was fantastic. Rooms are well maintained and all the staffs were very well-behaved. I will highly recommend this hotel for family.

This location has an attractive natural beauty and food and service is also attractive and excellent for any guest from my knowledge

The location is great and is walkable distance from the Jungle Safari point. The resort is very good with sitout place, garden, badminton court, parking etc. The food is excellent and very polite staff members makes you feel at home. The best place to stay.

It was a great experience with the resort in terms of stay, food, and facility. The food was awesome. Everyone from our team has enjoyed their stay here. The staff were very cooperative. They have arranged everything as per our requirements.

Very poor Service. Staff are rude. Food options are limited. I am giving one star because there is no zero star.

Pathetic hotel. Very poor hospitality. Manager couldn’t care less about guests. She was very unhelpful. Hospitality makes or breaks the experience and the hotel experience was very poor. Breakfast was uneatable, dinner was okay. Poor rooms, poor food, poor staff.

They have so many positive reviews hence we booked this hotel however it’s a very bad hotel. Poor rooms like a village hut with a bed, really unhelpful staff especially the manager, and really bad food. Don’t go on these positive reviews, it’s nothing like that.

It’s just not a stay it was a experience…! It’s a clam and relaxed place for family and frnds. Has 4 different options for accommodation. All the rooms and their restrooms are neatly kept. The staff and the owner are very friendly and accommodative. They serve a simple menu but food is good) the entire property is neatly maintained.

Location wise its not the best option. As its just beside the road and day & night there is lot of noise coming from the road.
If you have booked the hotel through online then stuffs behavior will be different than the offline customers.
And bitter truth is: when I went there at 11am with my MMT booking id they asked me to wait till 12 PM but the allocate a room to a offline buyer immediately after they check in. When I started arguments, they arrange a room for us too.

They will charge 1000₹ extra than normal cab rate, so that I have hired a cab from outside but they have started a conversation with my driver that why he has charged less!

Actually, they wanted to get commission from my cab driver.

I will not visit there twice. Not professional at all.

In one word, wonderful. It was really a good stay, people were nice, rooms were clean, and all the appliances were functioning. Food was great, not much spicy and it was reasonable

Food menu is limited. If you order mutton you have to pay extra 100 bucks per plate
No idea why they are charging more
Even 2 bottles of 500ml water is limited for 1 room. Asked for more bottles and they are charging

Nice and peaceful place. Great staff (shoutout to kaushik.great guy, very helpful) food was amazing, go for premium rooms, they are so classy. Deluxe rooms were also good and comfortable. Couldn't find any fault.

Best Resort at Lataguri. It is located in close proximity to the Lataguri railway station and also to the Jungle Safari office.

Rooms - Several categories of rooms are available. The wooden cottages are well furnished and they are very luxurious. Each of the rooms had all the modern facilities with a touch of traditional jungle culture. Every room has outdoor seating arrangements where people can sit to have a view or take a stroll in the small garden in front of the rooms

Dining Area - The dining area is located at an elevated ground which gives a wide view of the whole area of the resort and also the outside road.

Food - The food was excellent. We tried several Bengali cusines and the taste was just fabulous. Further it was not too rich and spicy.

Staff - The behaviour of each and every staff was too much hospitable. They know how to take good care of the people and they have solutions to each and every customer's query.

Safety Protocols - Safety protocols are taken due care of. Double Vaccination certificate, Rapid Antigen Test or RTPCR negative report is mandatory during checkin. All the rooms are properly cleaned and sanitized after the guests leave. Everyday the rooms are also cleaned nicely.

I highly recommend this place.

The name justifies the location of the resort. A beautiful stay nestled right at the edge of the Gorumara forest. Clean and well maintained cottages, courteous and friendly staff and tasty food are all available at this spot. Also it's a stone's throw away from the safari booking counter. A definite recommendation for my fellow travellers.

Aranya Jungle Resort by name is actually the best.you can enjoy the forest fully by spending time here.

Amazing rooms with all modern facilities, a wonderful view of the jungle from the balcony of the rooms.
We stayed in the premium rooms which was just awesome but the room is a bit pricey.
The quality of the food is just awesome and good quality.

Outstanding service and behaviour of the staff. They cooperated every step of the way. Rooms were nice, food was good and we enjoyed ourselves here. Did not expect so much from a Government run property and were pleasantly surprised.

Amazing hospitality. Best place to stay if you are visiting Lataguri. The resort is cozy, rooms are great, people are extremely friendly and helpful with the best food you can get at Lataguri. The cook there makes the best mutton curry. Stayed 3 nights at the resort and it was the best stay of the entire tour.

It's worth the money. Stuff are very polite and well behaved. Receptionist is very decent. Rooms are nearly maintained and have used quality products in the room and bathroom. I don't have any negative experience. Just a suggestion. They may cover the floor with carpet which can lead the comfort level even higher.

Place is ok ok type, not so worth to visit again. Food served is costly, receptionist is not so attentive and will be missing many a times. No much guidence in site seeing if u want to visit places on your own.

লাটাগুড়ি ঢোকার পথে রাস্তার উপরেই অরণ্য। থাকার জন্য বেশ ভালো, বিশেষত রান্না খুবই সুন্দর। দিলু বাবুর হাতের রান্না চমৎকার। দিলু দা-র হাতে সকালে লুচি-তরকারি এবং দুপুরে ছোট মাছের চচ্চড়ি এবং পাঁঠার মাংস অবশ্যই স্বাদকে তৃপ্তি দেবে।

Very good hotel, nice ambiance, staff behaviour very cordial, rooms are spacious, all basis amenities available, food is good and price is quite reasonable

It is a good place to hangout with friends, basic amenities and very friendly staff. Will definitely come back in future. Hope you guys come up with fire pits in sit out areas to escape from mosquitoes and make outdoor parties more enjoyable. Thanks again

### ENJOY THE BEAUTY OF NATURE AT LATAGURI WITH ARANYA JUNGLE RESORT ###
This was my 4 time visits at LATAGURI. The day when I met Mr. Chatterjee at TTF 2019, he suggested me to stay his hotel, the overall experience was excellent there, a big thanks to Mr. Chatterjee. We had a car to pick up from SUNTANEKHOLA home stay to ARANYA JUNGLE RESORT. The rooms were neat & clean, every day house keeping staff attended to change bed sheets and clean the rooms. The place is very close to GARUMARA forest. We had a great time at ARANYA JUNGLE RESORT from 9th November to12thNovember 2019. We were group of 7 members & every body enjoyed a lot. We were served delicious and mouthwatering dishes at lunch and dinner as per our choice especially the BOROLY FISH SORSE JHAL & CHACHARI were awesome. Mr. Jany, the young hotel manger well behaved just like our guest with a smiling face.
Lastly we were disappointed as there was no digital system of payment, one ATM of Central Bank was out of order. We suggest that POS should be introduced, as most of the hotels in other cities have the said facilities.

Once again I thank Mr. Chatterjee for making our trip memorable. My next visit will be there with our bank members of nine.

Nice place to relax, budgeted room.good place to spend time with family have restaurant facility as well. Fooding price are reasonable RS 200/plate.

Very good location just beside the jungle. Very romantic. The hv a birds sitting area with some bird's feed.

Excellent place to stay in. Nice ambience, rooms are comfortable and clean. Foods are very testy and hygienic. Staffs are very polite and helpful. And these are the reasons I used to visit Aranya Jungle Resort several time.

Lovely place for stay.the room is good and I will prefer the premium room.lovely ambience and the helping staffs are very decent and good.

Very nice resort close to lataguri station as well as start of the jungle.rooms are excellent and recently done with beautiful lightings and very clean bathrooms. The food is amazing and chef dada has finger licking Bengali recipe. But m the highest rating is for owner aand the hotel staff.only suggestion is a small pool will make this place the best

Rooms are pretty ordinary. Most rooms have zero ventilation except for the door which would be obviously closed. ACs are almost non- functional. Staff is not very professional. I guess the selling point of this place is it's proximity to the forest gates. But then so are the dozen other resorts in the vicinity.

We checked in on 16th March with Korean group, resort was not clean dust dry leafs scattered everywhere in balcony & stairs on the way to room, Toilets are not clean properly by the housekeeping staff. Ac is not working in some rooms, very poor maintenance, and some rooms smelling very badly, we change one room. Staffs are not educated to deal the foreign clients. Basic requirement of rooms are not in a presented matter. No internet facility. The most shocking part is they don't know how to serve the food, We order for Chicken clear Soup, Fried fish with Salad, Steam Rice, Mixed Veg Curry, Plain Dal, Paneer Curry, Mixed Chow, Chicken Manchurian, at last Fresh fruits (water melon we bought it from market as they don't have any stock) they offer Indian Sweets. They served Fried fish fast as required by us then Fruits, then Soup with Mixed Chow & Chicken dish, when I requested them to serve in a proper sequence then they dump rest of the dish, by that time we had the Mixed cowmen & Chicken, so no other alternative but to tasted the mixed veg & Dal with Paneer after having Chicken.
The matter was reported the owner Mr. Chatterjee over phone after dinner, then we requested to arrange wakeup call, they don’t have any arrangement for that. Anyway I took the responsibility to make the call from my room.unfortunately, next day morning I noticed that in my room no 3 telephone connection is dead, so I personally nock the door as all rooms are side by side, so it was not a tough job for me.
However, the breakfast was organized in a proper manner under my supervision, so somehow manage the situation. The Restaurant person Mr. Santanu is good, he realise the mistake they done during the dinner & improve the service on breakfast. The resort manager Mr. Somenath is so so.
My realization is they are not trained to cater the premium class tourist, so before making any booking be careful if you expect quality service.

Would have been given a 5 star. Could not give because of few things. We have taken a family room. The resort position is good and interior is matching the sorrounding nature. Room is big with a big toilet. Staffs are courteous. They made awesome bbq on request. Now the minuses. Room looks old and there was always a stincky smell from toilet. Cooking quality was bad except one or two items. We preffered to eat in a road side shop than eating here. Resort is good but need to improve in few areas as mentiined above.

We were just two ladies out on a short holiday.but we were looked after very well.
After having visited some of the Resorts nearby, we highly recommend this place.

Good place to hangout with family. Nice ambience, well behaved staffs, delicious foods within a reasonable price. The manager was polite and guided us perfectly to enjoy the trip.

Excellent resort in the heart of gorumara national lark, service and ambiance shows the very beautiful culture of bengal

An extremely cozy stay, a remarkable service by all the staff made our stay here a remarkable one. Did not expect it in such a small place. The best part - good net-connectivity which is not very common in this area.

Great scenic beauty, comfortable rooms, good food. Room service is not good, but good cooperating staff.
