Aranyakanya Resort

I stayed at this lovely resort with mu family for 5 days. The experience is amazing. The resort is beautiful with trees and cozy wooden cottages. The service is very prompt and the ambience of the place is very homely. What to say about the food! So many items and all are delicious. I would strongly recommend all my friends to visit this wonderful place. Including all this is truly a wonderful place for a vacation.

I am very much happy to be stayed with my family. I would like to thank to the owner for our trip also. We are really enjoying staying in this resort and the food quality was awesome. The staffs and the chef was also good, well manners and helpful.

Aranya Kanya Resort is an extremely rare place where you can stay amidst the calmness and serenity of nature at its full bloom, without even feeling that you are far away from your home in a p resort. The food, rooms, quality were excellent.

Aranya Konna Resort is a highly recommended resort in Gorumara.
1. Food quality was very good, and quantity was sufficient
2. Staff behaviour is very polite
3. If you stay in this resort they will arrange everything like pick up and drop from New Mal junction, Sightseeing Car, Jungle Safari car booking etc.
4. Very good for staying with family, car parking available.

Very nice, quiet and cozy place for family and couple stay, service is prompt, food is excellent especially the lunch menu, loved my stay here. Wish to return again.

We stayed at Aranya Kanya Resort from 6.12.2022 to 10.12.2022. We booked a double bed room for three people- me, my sister, and our mother. We booked the room at Kolkata through Anirban Tours & Travels. The office of Anirban Tours & Travels is at Kudghat, South Kolkata. They charged us Rs. 1000/per head/per day. That included the fooding & lodging. Fooding means breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. So, in total we paid for fooding & lodging Rs. 15000 (Rs. 1000 * 5 days * 3 persons).

The resort is situated in Dakshin Dhupjhora. On 6.12.2022, we got down at MalBazar Junction. We boarded the Kanchan Kanya Express. The train was around 2 hours late. However, a driver from the Resort was present outside the station. The manager called me and gave me the number on 5.12.2022 while we were on the train. After exiting from the station, we hopped on the car that was waiting for us. It took us around half an hour to reach the resort from the station via Chalsa and Murti. After reaching the resort, we had a light breakfast. The cost of travel from station to resort was Rs. 1000/-. After freshening up, we had lunch. We were amazed to see the variety of the food. It was Bengali food and it was damn good. The items were rice, ghee, dhone pata bata, dal, torkari, beguni, chips, two types of fishes, chatni, papad, raita and misti.everything was there. After lunch, the manager fixed a toto to take us to Murti Riverbelt. The toto cost was Rs. 300. When we returned from the Murti Riverbelt, it was already dark. And we were welcomed by veg pakoda and tea. The best thing about the vegetables is that they source a few vegetables from their garden itself. At night, we had dinner with dal, a veg item, egg curry and rice. At dinner you get the option to choose chicken or egg and rice or roti.

Next day, 7.12.20222, we went for seven point sightseeing. We left at around 9: 30 in the morning. The car picked us from the resort itself. It was a whole day tour. We had our breakfast before leaving for sightseeing. They packed the lunch- chili chicken and fried rice. The seven point sightseeing cost us Rs. 3500. We visited Gairibus, Jhalong, Paren, Bindu, Rocky Island, Suntaleykhola, and Laliguras View Point. We returned to the resort in the evening. After returning, we had pakoda and tea. At night, we had our dinner early as we had to wake up early the next morning for Jungle Safari. At night, we had dinner with dal, a veg item, egg curry and rice. At dinner you get the option to choose chicken or egg and rice or roti.

Next morning, 8.12.2022, the Jungle Safari jeep picked us from the resort. The jungle safari was an awesome experience for us. The car cost for the Jungle Safari was Rs. 2200. The best thing about it was that the resort arranged the jungle safari. We didn’t have to book the safari. It was a big relief for us. We spotted a few animals during the safari at Gorumara Jungle. After returning from the safari, we had our breakfast. After lunch, we went to Gajoldoba - Teesta Barrage. It was around 1 hour from the resort. The best thing about the cars was that they stayed at the resort itself. The resort has a total of three cars. All the cars have the stickers of Aranya Kanya Resort. After returning, we had pakoda and tea. At night, we had dinner with dal, a veg item, egg curry and rice. At dinner you get the option to choose chicken or egg and rice or roti. The trip to Gajoldoba cost us Rs. 2200.

Next day, 9.12.2022, we went to visit Lava & Rishop. We had our breakfast before leaving for the whole day trip. We packed our lunch with us - again chili chicken and fried rice. The scenic beauty is incomparable. The cost of the trip (car cost) was Rs. 4500. After returning, we had pakoda and tea. The total car cost was Rs. 14,700

Went to the resort with a group of 30 people। The entire stay was awesome with delicious food, well mannered and helpful staff and great ambience.

I was stayed with my mother from 5th Dec'22 to 8th Dec'22 for 4 nights.just unbelievable experience.the bamboo cottage was too good.food quality 100/100 & all the staff are very good behavior & helpful. I I must recommend all for staying at aranya kanya & feel the dooars ambiance

I stayed with my family at Aranya Kanya Resort from 5th Aug to 7 th Aug 2022. It has an excellent homely ambience, delicious food, warm hospitality, clean rooms- in other words all you would expect on an outing for a few days. Staffs are very nice. Really beautiful experience.

Everything is awesome.the food, the environment, the ambiance, behavior of all the resort staff, the guide and most of all the natural beauty and speechless environment of nature.the best experience I have ever had.my friend and my family everybody was so happy with this trip and the environment of the reaort

Highly recommended resort.we were feeling like home.very good atmosphere.staffs all are well behaved n friendly.n the most important thing is food.so much varieties n all were tasty.we had two children with us.didn't face any prblm.got baby friendly food, hot water etc.n our car driver was also very nice person.overall we are very much satisfied with their services.

Such a nice place i visited last week.their hospitality was too good. & the most important their food was just mind blowing.

Awesome hospitality, excellent food, feeling like home, nature-filled environment, and also very good behaviour, water supply 24*7. But the reason for one less star is the problem of the geysers and the bathtub. Otherwise all is good

Smelly rooms, dirty bedsheets and pillow covers. No wifi, Geysers don't work and you will not get continuous water supply in the bathrooms.

The food was good but the rooms were not given what they committed. Room service was bad. The rooms were clumsy.

The resort has a beautiful location for a view of the Kanchenjungha. Ambience is wonderful, food excellent with plenty of variety served just like in a party with well -behaved group of staff. But since it is remotely located, they should keep a stand by electrician in case of any sudden glitches.

Had a lovely and memorable experience at Aranya Kanya. We loved our stay there and will visit again. The food is finger licking delicious, the campfire with chicken bbq was an awesome experience.and cant just describe how beautiful the resort is The morning view of Kanchenjunga, the beautiful sunset and the view of Moonlight night from the window of my room in the resort is something which I will never forget

Very Nice Place to stay atleast 3 to 4 nights. Foods are very delicious and homely. Staffs behavior are remarkable. Murti river is 4 to 5 mins walking distance.
