Arsalan Restaurant & Caterer Barrackpore

Stuffs are not attending properly.biriyani doesn't taste like park street completely different like ordinary street side shops.fish kabab was smelly and reshmi kabab was too much stiff.we spent 3600 rs.but I would say dada boudi in barrackpore is far better choice for biriyani then barrackpore Arsalan

It's utterly surprising n disheartening to recognize that in a branded restaurant like this we were served with chicken that seemed to be stale enough perhaps 2-3 days old. I got affected by diarrhoea.

Quality of rice is good but motton and chicken Quality and size is not good.
Bad experience

So today after Dasera, me and my friends went to Arsalan BKP. As we heard so much about their biriyani, we ordered 3 plates of mutton biriyani and 1 plate of chicken biriyani. After some time, they provided the food. The quantity was average, too much lite dish, the mutton was not fresh, I can feel it, and it was not easy to strip the meat into pieces; it was not soft at all. The potate was also not soft; I have to bite it to eat it. The service was too bad; the behavior of the staff was not friendly and comfortable; the price was unacceptable. If you charge that much money, that is not the issue, but you should deliver the quality up to the value of the money. Otherwise, Ambious is a very good place, neat and clean. But I would not go again to that place and suggest not to go. If someone goes otherwise, please don't try Briyani; try other things. I hope they do the right thing in the future. I hope for the best. I will try again after 1 year.

I was completely disappointed after visiting chinar park outlet and then started thinking twice if I can visit barrackpore outlet. My expectation just crossed the limit. This outlet is properly maintained. Food quality is too good and staffs are really well behaved. It seems I have got the old Arsalan back! Will visit again. It is situated next to atindra multiplex. I would say may be in the same building. You will not have any difficulties of finding it.

IF U R SINGLE JUST DONT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. SINGLE HONA PAAP HAI IN LOGON KE LIYE. SINGLE LOGO KO AAISA TREAT KIYA JATA HAI KI WO BHIKARI HAI AUR BINA PAISO KE KHANE KE LIYE AAYE HAI. WORST BEHAVIOUR OF STAFF, MANAGER & RECEPTIONIST. MANAGEMENT IS WORSE.

Today, 8th Oct, 2023 I went there for lunch. No seat provision for single customer. Have to wait 1hr for food. Customers who comes later gets seat first, no proper management of Receptionist and Manager. Worst behaviour of Manager and Receptionist. Manager doesnot even bother to listen to customers problems. Faced this problem many times before also. Receptionist only knows to write names & nothing else. Very very bad attitude of manager and receptionist.

Moreover not every item is available even in Sundays. Waiter says Blue Lagoon is not available. As soon as I said that I was waiting for 1hr then the waiter says "Ok Sir we will arrange". What the hell? Behaviour of staff is worst. Even the roadside Biriyani Shops staff behaviour is better than them.

Very very bad and neglectful attitude towards customers. Doesnot deserve even 1star.

Food quality is good. Cheese naam and chicken Lahori is highly recommended. Mocktails are good.

Ordered biriyani. Meat was undercooked. Ordered kebab platter. Foul smelling rotten pieces were served. Though they quickly changed the platter, it felt as if it was not an honest mistake but a shrewed act of dishing out wasted putrid meat.

I have ordered my dishes & they serve the dishes within 10 Minutes. Test & quantity of food are best & within economic range. The food at Arsalan can be said to be one of the best in Kolkata. The same cannot be said for the service and ambience. The Park Circus branch near the 7 point crossing is pathetic, always crowded. You could try the other branch near the AJC Bose Road overbridge. It is a small joint but better service and ambience. However, my advice would be to try the one at Mirza Ghalib Street, opposite the Bengal Hyundai Showroom. It has the best ambience and near satisfactory service. The smell of the biryani itself makes the human crave. The biryani is so awesome. In my last order the restaurant made a mistake. I ordered for Veg Biryani for take away but mistakenly they gave me Chicken Biryani. Kolkata is biryani fanatic and the very few names that comes to your mind when you search for the best biryani are either Amenia or Arsalan. The aroma the texture the taste of Arsalan biryani is just mind blowing.just the right amount of spices which gives a mild delightful aroma to the long grain light yellow fluffy rice.and the soft pieces of meat and the roundels of bright yellow soft potato playing hide n seek in between the plateful of rice. Arsalan Biryani best in Kolkata!

Food is okay. But over crowded. Very long queue to get a seat. If you are two person, then you have to seat in shared one. No privacy for lovers.

Ordered Chicken Platter, Special Mutton Biriyani, Chicken Boti. Chicken Legs were rotten. Biriyani's quality is degraded now. Mutton was not fully boiled. Chicken boti piece size was also very small according to the cost. Staffs' behaviour were also not good. Overall not a suggested place to go.

Yesterday around 11pm I bought two mutton biryanis physically, but eating time one biriyani had one mutton and one biriyani had two potatoes! Is this the way of service of Arsalan?

The quantity of food is good. The test is awesome. Staff behaviour is good. The ambience of the restaurant is good. We had to buy special mutton biriyani and the test was brilliant.

There I had Biriyani. It was not bad. We got to seat very fast. Serving was also good. All over the place was nice.

Food is awesome but service a little beat poor.food is quit costly in comparison but loved the place ️️

The experience of dining in the Arsalan Barrackpore outlet is very good. The menu is full of variety if you want to try different north indian non veg dishes it is the perfect place to do so. There is also an option of mocktails here. The washrooms are clean. Good place to bring kids. There are many tables with more than 6 people seating capacity, you can easily come with your family. Arsalan Biriyani is already famous and also try the kebab varieties and firni.

Best branch of Arsalan considering all branches in Kolkata and this one. The quality of Biryani and the quantity, both are better than other branches. The mutton was double in size compared to the Park Circus branch and it was perfectly cooked.

The ambience and service is very good also. Highly recommended for dining with family/friends.

Considering the huge queue of Dada Boudi Biryani, this is a much better option.

I have visited most of the branch of Arsalan but I think this might be the cleanest one. It's at the 1st floor of the complex. Food quality and quantity was damn good. Price was justified as it has it's own brand value as well.plenty of staff available and they are professional and welcoming as well. Everything was sorted.only I would say that they are just asking too much for water bottle.it's 15 rs extra from the MRP. If you like Biriyani then don't think twice just visit the place once.you will love it for sure.thank you ️

40% expensive compared to Dada boudi. Taste is also bland in comparison. I think Arsalan cannot survive in barrackpore in direct competition with Dada boudi.

Their behaviour is very bad. They don't know how to speak with the guests. Where behaviour is not good there having food is worthless. Just below third class service. Don't go there

A perfectly placed location in association with Atindra Multiplex. Watch a movie and get a perfect North Indian Feast at comparable prices. Great Biryani and Great Kebabs. Love it. Dada Boudi, Aminia and Arsalan competing with themselves, and we are getting quality Mughlai Food in Barrackpore. Well done Arsalan. You have stood up to the high expectations.

Absolutely awesome one, recently i found out, situated in barrackpore this particular branch,
Beside Atindra Multiplex. From starter to main course & beverage mocktails are awesome, only i am disappointed about desert dishes, their 'sahi tukda' was 1/10, next firni is 6/10. Those who tried authentic sahi tukda before for them - " eat at your own risk"

Mutton Biriyani is so nice, piece of mutton also good. But chiken piece of chiken biriyani is not good.

Every item was perfectly fine and with good quality. Taste was also very good. Good hospitality. Nice ambience.

Overall the food was ok.but as far as the briyani is concerned wasn't good. I didn't feel that flavour and taste.

Worst chicken quality.parathas and rumali roti almost not tearable.only selling brand is not gonna sustain for a longer period, sometimes try to upgrade the food quality also.

Total waste of money, went for lunch round 1 pm and ordered mutton khorma, which they served was a days old, i guess previous days and that too cold, the meet was so tight that I Was unable to chew the meat, Instead could have gone for dada boudi which is just next to the restaurant.

Overall, very disappointed with the quality of food and the price is also very high. Not upto the mark.

Tasty food with nice staff. Just waiting time needs to shorten or for people who are waiting in queue history be given chair or waiting area with TV.

Their Biriyani is yummmyyyyy. Loved it. They decorate my husband’s Birthday cake. And also gave him a complimentary drink as a birthday gift.

We've dined there. Good ambience with mouth watering food though I gound tandoori chicken quite dry. Biriyani was good but tandoori chicken butter masala with roomali roti was too good. Staffs are courteous and helpful.

Problem of car parking as well as two Wheeler parking

The food was awsome yea you do have to wait in the que for your turn but even when you are waiting u will be served with refreshers

To my experience this is the best outlet among all the other Arsalan outlets I have visited so far. They follow proper sanitization procedures and also at par with any other mid to upscale eateries. To me decoration doesn't matter. But need to mention I liked the make over. Drastic shift from old to newbie was definitely eye catching. They have got good glass window view seating too. Arrive early to occupy them. We did

Coming to the food, we ordered Mutton Biriyani which was as always delicious and unique. Quantity was enough for one person. I guess the price was 20 odd rupees more but it was justified. The Arsalan special Cheese roll was mouth watering. But I was disappointed with the Chicken and Mutton Chaps. Too dry inside and not upto the old taste. We took two drinks. Both were decent. One was Blue lagoon and another was Cucumber Mojito.

The head server and the floor manager were thoroughly professional and definitely a big thumbs up to them for their hospitality. However not all the servers were polished. While I was happy to see few persons wearing gloves while serving the food, I was rudely suggested by one to use the cutlery from next plate when I asked them to change it. That was a bummer. I hope he will learn manners.

Another disappointment was with the parcel which I took. It was Arsalan special Fish and Cheese roll. They packed it without salad and any type of chatni. I paid 450 Ruppes +tax and got that So deducting one point.

Ambience was good except the loud customers who were talking over video call without earphones.

The place is good, ambience is better then park street, but the place is cozy maybe it under the maintaince.
Coming to food- Food is tasty, price varies from low to high but it doesn't effect the taste
Ordered- 1.splatter (starter-comes with 4different types of chicken) 2. Keema naan (you should definitely try this, it's too delicious) 3. Chole nun (little sweet but tasty) 3. Chicken lahore (this is super tasty should try) 4. Chicken acharri masala (taste like achaar goes better with naan) 5. Virgin mohito (should be little sweet it taste more like lemon) 6. Blue lagoon (awesome)
7. Pink lady (someone who has sweeter tooth and also like ice cream should try the combo).

About sanitization- neat and clean, they sanitize your hands before entering and thermal screening.
Staffs are well mannered and overall serving is good.

Verry poor service. Not good at all. Asking at least 4 to 5 time for a food. Service boy is just doing gossip.

Delicious foods as always from Arsalan, car parking is also available for small to medium sized vehicle!

Firat day visit
Excellent service, their approach to customer is overwhelming. They welcome you with a cold drink in small glass.if you are waiting in line.and the food was excellent.
We ordered half tandoori kabab, virgin mojito and cucumber mojito in mocktails, and mutton and chicken biriyani.the flavour was well mixed in biriyani which we wanted especially us "bengali's". And lastly they maintain proper hygiene. The staff here are purely trained on how to provide service with this much difficulty with their mask on and making sure of safety of every customer.

Celebrated my birthday there. I assure you that they are the best for birthday celebrations, even any Restaurant in Kolkata never did that thing what Arsalan of Barrackpore did. Me and my fellow mates felt so very special at that day.

Just awesome. All the dishes we order were superb yummy, The biriyani was more than just perfect even the desert was too delicious
Overall experience was very good

The food here is amazing and delicious. Although you've to wait a little of you want to dine here because there are a lot of people. But it is worth the wait. Manager and staffs are really good here, they assist us really good. Also note that after ordering you've to wait 25 min approx for which you need to have patience.

On 15th i opted for first time in this outlet and guess what!
In my mind I was truly amazed to see the ambience.
There are more things you can be surprised of than just foods.
Staffs, sanitized lounge, and one more this that surprised me that there are employees to look after each guest to continuously gather information about service and foods.
A well deserved performance they are carrying out.

I'm always very Happy with Arsalan. The food quality nd quantity is Perfect according to the price. The use of all staff was also very good.

Not so good. Not as per Arsalan quality. In most outlets, taste of dishes n biriyani used to be very good n quality of mutton or chicken used to be very good n soft n tender. But taste is average but mutton or chicken is not very soft or tender, little bit stiff n chewy.
