Disgusting food with poor service. Fried rice was too salty and quality of rice was mediocre. Not recommended.

Newly introduced 10 Course Lunch Set from ASIA KITCHEN by MAINLAND CHINA is an absolute steal deal! I simply loved the quality of every item served from the Menu. There was absolutely no complaint regarding the taste.

Crispy Honey Fried Noodles with Vanilla Ice cream is my all time favourite from here. Incredible professionalism and assistance from the staff and one thing that I loved the most and it should be made compulsory is the FEEDBACK that they're taking from all the guests. Great hospitality and of course hygiene was top-notch

From droolworthy starters and soup to the classic maincourse, it didn't seem to disappoint me except the crackling spinach which I think can be altered with something else.

Showstopper was the Caramelized Sponge Cake and it just drove me to a different universe altogether. Therefore, this newly launched Asian Lunch Set is a must try!

I would definitely recommend their Smoked Duck Roll which we picked as the appetizer for the afternoon.

Asian Kitchen being part of the Mainland China group has always been one of the finest providers of Chinese/Korean/Thai food. And as expected we had a brilliant time last week at the Asia Kitchen branch in the Acropolis.

The staff were very courteous and they made our lunch experience more pleasant with their warm gestures and suggestions. We tried out

Enjoyed each and every item that was served. All of the starters, main course and side dish were delicious, served with the courteous warmth resulting in an awesome experience in the restaurant. I would highly recommend it to everyone who wants to try out asian fine dining in the city. Only downside is the high price of the items. However, one small hack - use Swiggy Dineout to get a flat 10% discount and top it up with an additional 5% if you have a HDFC card.

I love their selection of mouth watering and diverse set of Asian foods. The burmese khao suey is one of my favourite dishes ever. Having visited this establishment so many times, I am in love with their food, and their service.

Today I ordered food from Asia Kitchen by Mainland China, Ballygunje outlet. It’s expensive, not tasty at all and fried rice was so oily. Not expecting it from a brand so popular

Hello friends! After a long break Asia Kitchen came to me rescuedon't take me wrong. I mean in terms of good food
So Asia Kitchen is on the top floor in Acropolis Mall. I have attached few pictures which will help in deciding your visit to the place.
1. So starting with the entrance. There are boards clearly mentioning covid protocols and precautions points. A staff member at the gate will politely help you with your bookings. In case you need to wait for your turn, there are chairs and benches at required distance placed in front on the restaurant in the lobby for you to relax! Restroom is just beside the restaurant gate outside so no problem in case of long waits!

2. Coming your turn, the staff at the gate shall accompany you inside till the table from where another service staff will take over and help you sit comfortably. There is ample distance between each table so no worry. Each table has a beautiful cutlery set with sauces of choice, tissues, herbs, and a sanitizer.yea I m happy about this
Just in case you find any sort of problem there manager advices to change tables.as it happened to me! Although there was no need. I was already happy with there concerned gesture.

3. Since I had visited any restaurant after almost 2 months I wanted all my favourites on my plate.hahaha.kiddish! Still my husband understood and ordered pan fried chicken noodels loaded with lots of vegetables and smoked dry chicken. While I was enjoying and food was taking time.the staff would come so mny times apologizing the delay and empathise us.hmmmm a good way of handling hungry customers)

4. Aahhh.finally a nice heated ceramic plate was kept.and it seamed like my wait was over but NO! Now this time I was empathizing myself.hey one minute! My food is here.hot noodles with that smoked flavour all around n here it comes on my plate.wait was worthwhile food was awsome.
Wanted to order something more but had less time! Nevermind next time

5. How can I leave the place without capturing there open kitchen.and neatly kept crockery and all the spreads. The kitchen was absolutely spik and span and you will really enjoy watching your noodles going up in the air and flying back on that hot sauce pan

Its good, food is quite good, ambience is also good, staffs are polite, bit expensive, overall goodexperience

Well they are damn costly. But the portion, presentation, quality uphelds the Speciality Group's reputation. We had to wait for 45 minutes on panchami afternoon itself. But the polite lady at the front desk allotted us a table within the said time. Few servers were in hurry while taking the order but few outmatched them too. We ordered Jade Spring glass mocktail, King Prawn Tempura, Eight Treasure Sweet Corn Chicken Soup, Cantonese Chicken with Fermented Chilli Portion, King Prawn in Green Curry Portion (Prawn Green Thai Curry), Kelzai Volcanic Water. Well all of the dishes were very very costly ans tasty. The mineral water itself costed us 120 Rupees. We were even charged 260 rupees additionally as service charge. But the food was good. They maintained the quality. It's right inside Acropolis mall. So the crowd and ambience was better.

Extremely disappointed with service quality and food quality.there was no prawn in prawn fried rice.unbelievable. But the moment we made them saw.they changed it very fast
But still i was shocked. Anyway may b accidental case.

Good ambience, food and decor. Service was prompt. Only downside is that these resturants add a 10% service charge directly, which is unfair when the bill is large.

I think that the dumplings could've been better. Sushi wasn't available, so I was a bit saddened by that.

No doubt the food tasted good. But most restaurants in Kolkata serves scrumptious food. And this will not stand out. It will also pinch your pocket. Ambience is good. Service will be time consuming. Also they can have more varieties in their menu. The menu looked a bit comprehensive and the quantity a bit meagre.

I visited this restaurant on Sunday afternoon. Although it was crowded but good sanitation and social distancing was maintained here. There is a waiting place outside the restaurant with comfy chairs and benches but the waiting time isn't too long. The staff is very well behaved and courteous. They take good care of each and every customer and advices food as per their choice and preference if asked. They take the review of the customers after each meal and also keeps enquiring during The meals to check if the food is good and as per the customer's expectations. The restaurant is cozy, well ventilated, hygienic and spacious which makes it very comfortable for the customers even when it's crowded inside.

Now comes the food, since Asia kitchen is a branch of Mainland China, hence there is no question or doubt about their food quality and taste. Their food quality and taste is beyond excellence. I loved each and every meal they served. It was so well cooked, fresh and delectable. I had Thai chicken dumplings which had a very mild fragrance and flavour of lemongrass which added a difference texture to the juicy chicken filling in the dumpling. I also ordered chispy Tobanjan fish as starter, the fish was very crispy from outside and tender from inside. It was mild sweet and sour. It was one of the best dish I had. I also had Chicken khau suey, which was again very delicious. It's a must try for those who want to try something different other than rice and noodles. The quantity might look less for two but trust me it's completely filling for 2 people if you have had some starters at the beginning. Although the choice of hard drink was a little less but that could be completely given a pass since the food is so delicious.

Overall, Asia Kitchen is one of the best restaurants I've visited so far in Kolkata. It's a family restaurant, cozy, nice ambience, great hospitality and awesome food. A must try for all the food lovers, bloggers and vloggers. A big to Asia kitchen. I would differently love to visit the restaurant again and again. It really lives upto it's name, "Best of Asia kitchen".

Great place to hang around with friends and family. Nice ambience, good hospitality, spacious layout. And one thing that makes Asia Kitchen one of a kind place is the fact that inspite of having an open kitchen the restaurant doesn't smell of food at all. One can enjoy one's food and it's individual smell.

A good place for authentic Chinese food. The ambience is really good. The kitchen is a open kitchen and you can see them cooking your food. They use fresh ingredient for food. Price is bit costly and the taste is really good. If you are going good non veg item, try atleast one dish of prawn.

The food was good but the quantity becomes lesser and lesser and the two repeated dishes is off

It was a nice dine experience with another venture of specialty group. Few items are similar with Main Land Chaina but few are pretty much their own. Services and timing are up to mark so tastes. Only complaint about the menu option. I think its time for ammendment.

Ambience is good. Family resturant. Prawn and chicken items are good but lamb preparations are not up to the mark. Food and drinks are expensive. By the way they charge Rs. 120 for a bottle of mineral water, the lebel states it's volcanic mineral water. I felt a bit hot after paying the bill.

Probably one of the best Chinese cuisine you can find in the city. Excellent ambience, well behaved staffs and great food. The quantity and quality of the dishes was good. A bit costly. But overall experience was excellent

Situated on the 4th floor of Acropolis Mall, this restaurant is an amalgamation of all South East Asian cuisines, aptly named Asia Kitchen by Mainland China. The live kitchen is a treat to watch and the ambience is casual chic.
We ordered
* Chicken Eight Treasure Soup - Hearty soup with 8 different types of vegetables and a toasted nut (pine?).

* Chicken Lemon Coriander soup - Rather heavy on the coriander, reminding of the Indian version Dhaniya Shorba, excellent flavour and taste.

* Chicken and basil dumplings - Translucent wrappers covered juicy, meaty dumplings flavoured with basil and black pepper, goes well with the sauces on table. Loved them!

* Nasi Goreng - An Indonesian/Malaysian originated fried rice, slightly pungent due to use of shrimp paste, served with Chicken Satay and a Prawn wafer. Combines well with all side dishes.

* Pan fried noodles - Cantonese style Gravy noodles with ample veggies and chicken and rich velvety gravy. A standalone dish, doesn't require much in the way of accompaniments.

* Chicken in Chilli Basil sauce - Sliced chicken in chilli oyster sauce with fresh basil, goes well with any rice and noodle dish.

We loved the food for its heartiness, flavour and excellent presentation. Overall a must visit again and again.

Food was really flavoursome. Nothing too spicy but you get bursts of flavour in your mouth with every bite. Servers were polite. The condiments were to die for.

This place honestly serves one of the very best chinese food in the city of joy. Yes, it can be a tad less pricey but they don't lie about the quality at all. This is my fourth visit to this place and everything was hella tasty. After ordering an Orange Piroshka, a Watermelon and Basil cooler and a Fresh Lime Soda for beverages, we tried the chili teriyaki chicken for starters which was incredibly tasty with it its sweet and spicy sauce. Then we ordered a plate of chicken fried rice and hakka noodles to go with a plate of Chili Basil Bhetki and General Tao's Favourite Chicken. All of them tasted out of the world. Will definitely visit again, albeit after quite some time because this place definitely burns a hole in the pocket

Very good authentic Asian dishes are there. They are maintaining good hygiene and social distancing, also the kitchen is along with it, so you can see them cooking. A bit expensive on the side but you can certainly visit if you want to try some good Asian food.

Great place to have fantastic Chinese food. Suggest to go in big groups and order multiple items. They have wide variety of starters, main course, desserts and drinks.

I visited this place today, with my friends for their on going Best Of Asia Kitchen. They have an plan for the weekdays which kinda surprised me. Being non vegetarian, I had opted for the respective option. At Rs. 545, they are offering a 9 course meal, which isn't a buffet though. You get a condensed version of the choices and flavours of Asia Kitchen is a single meal how cool is that! I tried the following items: 1. Green Papaya and Raw Mango Salad (recommended) 2. Chicken 8 Treasure Soup 3. Chicken Siu Mai 4. Asian Chilli Fish 5. Chicken Red Thai Curry (recommended) 6. Stir Fried Vegetables 7. Veg Hakka Noodles 8. Crispy Honey Noodles 9. Caramel Sponge Cake (recommended) 10. Vanilla Ice Cream Maintaining the authentic flavours of the kitchens from Asia, this was yet another splendour. I loved the food from this place. Although I dislike this mall, the food at this restaurant is good.
The lettuce wraps though were a let down.
Starters Ginger chicken and Mongolian skewered chicken were rather bland.
But the main course of wasabi rice, lamb and chicken were good.
Desserts are normally good as they are sweet.
For me I prefer stand-alone restaurant s, malls are filled with so much of crass now, INDIA SHINING.

Their cooking is NOT even remotely Asian. This restaurant does not use Lard which is essential to EVERY Chinese Japanese dish. Further they serve Halaal meats which is CONTRARY to the meats used in East Asian cooking.

To explain to the Bengalis, the kind of faux pax they are making, is like cooking Ilish Machh Bhape, using Ghee and Rosun.

Net net, it's fooling people of Calcutta and serving them some concoction which is neither Chinese nor Japanese.

Food, ambience, service is very nice. Though it is recommended to make reservations before you plan to dine or have a luncheon here. They are quite full and busy all the time.

This restaurant serves the best Chinese food in Kolkata at present. I visited with my family thrice in short intervals. Every time we came back totally satisfied. Each and every food items from soups, dimsum and staters are unique in test and presentation.
I am a great foode. Travelled the length and the breath of our country extensively. Had food from 5 star restaurants to roadside eateries. It is not easy to make me satisfied in every items. But, this restaurant achieved this with distinction. I rate them better than their permier partner Mainland China Gurusaday Road.

One of the best Chinese destination of the city. The open kitchen is an outstanding concept and very innovative idea, specially for the old member of family who thinks the kitchens of all restaurants are in poor state. The kitchen is the USP of this destination.
