If you have not been brought up in North Kolkata and you are in your twenties having a girlfriend, then you must visit and enjoy the ambience of the river Ganges from Bagbazar Ghat. This is one of the oldest ghats and in the morning time or in the afternoon time, a lot of youngsters spend their quality time here.

This is the best ganga ghat in Kolkata, I love this place. Just beside the Bagbazar Railway Station, less crowd, u can feel the nature.

It's a good place to see dawn, every evening many people come from different places from Kolkata to sit and relax

There is not many places near the ghat where you can get good food, everything else is just perfect for visiting.

Amazing place, in summer time you will feel better If you visit here specially In the afternoon like 5pm or after that, Also you can try jetty service if you want to go somewhere like Sovabazar, howrah. Etc. But for sunday Jetty service is not available.
