Excellent market place located adjacent to Baghajatin 4 point road crossing at South Calcutta. It's located in the Baghajatin area of South Calcutta adjacent to Sricolony & Vidyasagar Upanivesh colony areas. This is located near main arterial road Raja Subodh Chandra Mullick Road connecting the prime areas of Jadavpur, Gangulybagan, Ramgarh and Garia of South Calcutta.

One of the popular market in the south Kolkata. You can buy vegetables in very cheap rate in road side market. A big fish market is here. All kind of fish and various rate of fishes are available here. Except that many grocery shops are there, you can buy all kind of groceries here. Many cloth shops also available here, you can buy gents shirt, trousers, ladies kurti, saree etc. & all kind of children's and infants clothes. Many local and branded like Khadims, Ajanta shoes shops are also here. Maximum shos are close every Monday except one month ago of Durga puja time.

The local marketplace of Baghajatin area. The location is alright, easy to find. You can get almost all kinds of veggies, fishes, meat, grocery items etc. I would say this marketplace better than other marketplaces in here. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend for fish and vegetables are quite good and fresh here and it's almost always available. Readymade garment shops, cosmetics etc.are available inside. They have a temple inside the marketplace also. Every Monday it is closed. It is open from 7am to 10 pm. In this marketplace you'll get wholesalers to buy from. Not so clean inside but better than other marketplaces. Only faults are this place don't have free drinking water facilities inside & parking lot outside.

Specially mention: Entrance is wheelchair accessible. Packaged mineral drinking water bottles available.

Very crowded place. People & sellers are not maintaining physical distance norms. Sellers & buyers are not even wearing masks although, few sellers have been infected with Covid-19 just two weeks ago & this week also. The market was closed some die for few days. And in the locality also said virus is spreading
