Another outlet of Balaram Mullick & Radharam Mullick that I visited recently in Kolkata to pick mishti on my way back to Bangalore. The sweets like Sandesh, Mishti Doi, rasgullas etc are all available. They pack mishti doi and rasgullas to take in flight if you wish. Just tell them in advance for the special packing. There’s a nominal charge for that. Sweets are all reasonable. Sandesh varieties are mostly good here but do try their famous baked rasgulla and hot Gur rasgulla and Gulab jamun here. Those are really very good and unique. Being a Kolkata shop don’t expect efficiency in terms of time there will be 8 people standing at the counter but only 1 will be assigned and u have to wait patiently for him/ her to finish everything one after the other. It takes patience. So go with time in hand and try the mishtis before you make final order.
The sweets and the evening snacks are a delight. One of the amazing things about this branch is the desi ghee, which is available here. It is worth yhe money.
Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick is a legendary sweet shop serving some mouth watering sweets & savouries since 1885. Trying the sweets since a long time now & I must say that they are my favourite. They have a wide range of items. From the regular Rosogolla to Mango Chomchom to Baked Mihidana etc. So it is a must try for all sweet lovers️.
What’s a Sunday without having your favourite sweets binge! I hearby bring you the delicacy of the very famous Balaram Mullick and Radharaman Mullick handpicked sweets straight outta store. Priced reasonably great variety and some of the best seasonal sweets to satisfy your taste buds ️️. — at Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick Sweets
**Edited based on my experience** One thing to note is that the staff at this location often does not pay attention and sometimes even arrogantly ignores customers. No matter how good the quality of your product, if the customer feels insulted they will not buy anything from you.
I hope the management reads these reviews and takes action so that customers can enjoy their products without being insulted.
The rashbehari avenue outlet has a much more professional staff, but unfortunately the one in this review is the one near my home.

Fabulous collection of Bengali sweets and savories. Their samosas are one of the best in the city and taste amazing when fresh. Often they are already sold out of their samosas, chops or kachoris early in the evening. For all you sweet lovers there are many options too. Prices can go up depending on what you choose but they have options even if you're on a budget.
They also have sweets that follow modern Bengali-European fusion like baked rosogolla and nolen gur (jaggery) souffle.
Ordered 100gms mango doi through Zomato, but in this place it is impossible to give 100 gm doi, just a thin layer of doi they have given and claiming it 100 GM's and charged 35rs for each bhar.worst experience ever so large brand and making fool in this earthen pot. Dont trust them they are just making fool to everyone
Good shop but the stock is less available. The sweets come from the main hub and are sold here, so there is high chance you won't find your favorite dessert on any special occasion. However the taste and quality of sweets is very good.
They have ruined their name. The staff is really bad. Specially that boy Bappa. Most dishonest person. He will say that the sweets are fresh and will sell it. But most of the time either the sweets are stale or no more in edible condition. And if you inform it to them, they will not accept it. Most of the time the staff in new alipur branch are buay among themselves and do not even care to respond the customers. I believe the small sweet shops provide better sweets than BMRM
