CASHIER SRABONI here is carrying worst and pathetic attitude towards customer. She really needs to learn how to deal with customers. She don't deserve on RETAILS.
Came at non peak hours after lunch. The store was empty. Maybe like 2 customers other than me, but there was hardly any staff to attend us properly. Wasted too much of our time waiting until we got our order of sweets for office.
The options are numerous, Prices are premium as per the store is.
Taste of sweets were good as we went with Daab Sondesh and Stuffed Malpoa.
Poorest experience at sector V, very bad temperament and behaviour of staff. I went to purchase sweets for my home but the staff behaved very rude. I hope only way of learning to respect your customers is when ur business runs out…. May god bless you with the learning soon.
Only four starts because I feel certain items are a bit over priced. In terms of taste, quality and variations this place excels. Daab sandesh is my all time favourite. One should also try magic laddu made of dry fruits.
Just wow as always Brought their sweets to Delhi by train, and it was still fresh and yummmm. A must try for any time sweet lovers. Tastiest and most innovative sweet ideas along with all time Bengali sweets collection. Always our family's favourite.
If you know that your so called is closed then keep and put out on a board so customer can see that your shop is closed and there will not enter don't think there only on sweet shop in Kolkata not recommended to anyone.
Premium sweet shop in sector 5 GP Block of Salt Lake. They offer different fusion sweets which have become popular. Yesterday they have introduced a new product “NANI” on the holy occasion of Janmashtami - however, it’s extremely expensive with a taste that does not match with the same offered in Puri Jagannath Maha Prasad.
No doubt about sweet or other items but I think some staff (SEC 5) are not justified with this famous sweet shop. Sorry to say but I had very bad experience.
Nothing against the products.but unruly and ill mannered staff.atleast that is what very unfortunately we faced yesterday.else no complaints.just a feedback.products definitely deserve a 4 star.the staff attitude negative 3 star.hope management takes a note
I can't give them even a single star worst customer service we ever had we bought 3sweets nd one of them are expired already earlier nd smells bad nd the taste was completely sour when we complained about it within 5min after purchasing they haven't did anything else they just said sorry worst place never buy anything.
This is a very old and very well known sweet shop, years old. They have a lot of speciality sweets. Along with that, there are a lot of new type of sweets. You will get all types of sweets sold by Balaram Mullick, here.
Along with the sweet section, they have a breakfast and lunch section in this shop where you will get variety of options like Radhaballavi for breakfast and Basanti Pulao for lunch. All the preparations are very lite and simple, unlike other restaurant or fast foods, not too much oily and very less masala, but tasts good.
Price is also very reasonable, compared to other such big brands.
They deliver through Zomato and Swiggy only. They accept orders for occasions as well (they need to be contacted beforehand).
Degrading experience with each passing day - Me and my family are patrons of Balram Mallick sweets for more than 2 decades.starting from getting sweets from the Bhawanipore outlet, Ballygunge, Kasba connector.the authentic sweets and the classiness of the store was simply unparalleled till the time I started visiting the Sector V outlet - absolutely frustrating customer service.the staff - pathetic, and hygiene sense - 0.everyday you’ll find people keeping their used plates on the showcases and eating and no one to monitor.something not at all expected from such an outlet.specially amidst the rising COVID infection rate again. I’m feeling very sorry to right such about one of my favourite sweet shop. As a customer it’s an earnest request to please arrange for some tables where people can eat. I hope the store admin can understand the situation.
Taste of the sweets are good but staff behaviour with the customers is worst. They don't even bother about the customers requirement. Make the customers wait for long.
Poor customer service. I went to place an order for 75 boxes of sweets. The cashier started haggling about individual packets and that they cannot separate sweets from the savouries in a box. Went to Banccharam and they readily helped and even showed how the box will look like. If the proprietor is reading the review, please note you lost 15k worth of business just because your guys do not understand customer service at all.
A very well maintained sweet and snacks chain shop. It is at a prime location of sector - V, salt lake city at ground floor of Infinity Bench Park just opposite of RDB Bulleverd. Sweets are good standards and it tastes equally everyday. Pure vegetarian snacks also available. Pure vegetarian lunch also available. On prior order veg thali also available. Bulk order also available
Not yet tasted, but by the looks & aroma, everything seems to be yummm. The staff understands quickly but does not seem proactive to suggest. They will only respond to what you ask. Except for a few flies, rest of it was pretty neat as well. Price point seems to be just right.
Balaram Mullick is a very esteemed sweet mart chain in West Bengal! But now as a customer I would request the owner to close this franchise asap to maintain their reputation. I had ordered 6 PLATES of Radhaballavi but I was delivered 6 PIECES of the same. My husband called the outlet&Miss / MrsTanya refused to deliver or refund the money. Instead being apologetic she was extremely rude.horrible outlet, would again request the owner to close the deal with such an outlet which will put this reputed brand on stake. They don't even deserve 1 star.
Our family have been a fond customers of Balaram Mallick and its sweets. We buy from their different stores, mostly in South Kolkata area. But our recent experience with the quality and taste of the food boxes we ordered in qty were abysmal. We ordered boxes with items like Komola Pulao, Chholar daal, other sabjees and misti in a box for a Shradh ceremony. Its sad that most of the people who were open enough to express their feedback on the quality of the food was terrible. More so because we expected a much better experience from Balaram Mallick and team and they failed us s badly when we ordered it for a bigger function and in memory of my mom. We paid the full pop but got a very bad experience. Just wanted to share this incident and bring it to the attention of the owners. Ideally in a normal circumstance I would ask for a reply and refund of the money we spent. The store we ordered from is located near Rashbehari Avenue.
This shop is situated at ground floor of Infinity Benchmark, beside Lenskart shop in Sector 5. Balaram Mullick is one of the best sweet shop in Kolkata. Baked Rasagolla is must try in this shop. Employees are extremely helpful and suggest which one can be preserved for couple of days. They can pack the box in a manner so that it can be carried in Train or flight.
This outlet is located just opposite RDB Cinemas, Sector-V. Visited there yesterday to purchase some sweets. Quality is up to the mark and payments can be made through Cards/UPI also. Would love to visit again.
This outlet is located just beside GST Bhawan, 5 mins from Ruby Hospital.bought tin white rosogolla, a signature dish here.price rs 233/- and contains 20 small rosogolla pieces.the packing is really very good and sweet quality is great.
Famous for Authentic Bengali Sweets. Tasted Milk Cake, Chhena Poda, Baked Rasogulla & Baked Kalakand. Simply Superb. Place is always crowdy. Worth to visit and taste the dishes.
The dub Sandesh was mind mind blowing, the best part is all sweets are made up of natural fruit extract colour and flavour. Quality of sweets are outstanding. Baked rosogolla, abarkhabo is one of the most recommended sweets you can try out. Jolbhora talshas is one of my favorite out this place.
Unexpected. I ordered 7 langcha along with 3 sarbhaja and 4 anjir barfi through zomato. But they gave me 4 amriti instead of anjir barfi. They put anjir barfi in the bill but gave amriti. What kind of unprofessionalism is this? Also the size and taste of these sweets aren't up to the mark campared to their prices. Dissapointed.
A must vist shop. Rasgulla is amazing. Roasted rasgulla is speciality but I felt it was just good. Normal rasgulla and gur rasgulla are amazing. Misti doi is also worth try.
They charge high price and pose to be a high quality sweet producer. Till few years back they were good. Now quality is deteriorated very fast. Today we bought 3 items. All are very cheap quality products. Kathigaja are stale and expired. It tastes sour. Jolbhara is of 'foothpath' quality. I think very soon people will start avoiding them. They will be finished.
Clean place, shopkeeper and staffs wears mask but customer do not always wear and they should not allow them inside without mask. This way more awareness can spread.
Quality of sweets is amazing. They've innovated sweets over the years and offered superior taste and quality. Price is quite on the higher side though.
The pocket pinch is absolutely worth the mouth-watering sweet delicacies here. The nolen gurer mishti here in any shape and form are hands down one of the best I've ever tasted!
Best sweets I have tasted in Kolkata. I am amazed by the large variety and the high quality of sweets they have. Every time I go home I buy some for my family. A must try place.
This is a sweet shop located at sector V near RDB cinema. It is the only sweet shop in sector V. They accept paytm, credit card. Kochuri, dhokla, different types of curds or Doi, sweets are available.
I order frequently from this shop through Zomato. Their food quality is good but on 7 sep 2020 i had order veg polau and noodles and it was stale and foul smell was coming. I had to throw entire polau. Paying 265 rs for polau and noodles then throwing it is really pathetic. Due to lock down sale may be low but that doesn't mean they will feed us bad quality food. From next time I will buy sweets but will never try other dish.
Sweets are good quality. And only available shop in new town, saltlake area. But location is very congested and no hoarding outside, so difficult to find out.
The shop holds its legacy. But it is a little bit overrated. Its really good compared to some of the good Sweet shop. But there is nothing to be hyped. Some of the dishes are really excellent but not all
They have the best rabri, doi and "wet" sweets in Kolkata, though at higher prices! They could improve upon the sandesh, though- at which many others beat them, with lower prices too.
