I will rate only 1 star, so much hype done on social media, looking at the crowd though it's good place to have lunch. Average food compared to the cost. Ordered prawn curry for Rs 100 got only 1 pc.that also prawn size is small, I have paid Rs 300 to visit that place, only Resturant is looking good

Hotel room Do not clean daily basis. Food is Good but Staff did not know how to serve food to customer.

Based on the capacity of service persons they try to serve well.

Last month visited Bolpur & had our lunch here. Horrible food with extreme high price. Request pls not to visit. Lot of other people also expressed same views. No test with high price. Worst experience. Test less high priced food. Total waste of money & time. They are just fooling us by putting big big advertisement near Amer Kutir where generally we are visiting around lunch hour. If you want to waste your money for a Bengali Lunch, please visit.

Firstafall this is not a hotel it's a bengali resturant. Authentic bengali food you'll get here. Price is within range not to high. We have ordered veg thali. Price of veg thali is 140 as on 23.07.2022. Taste of the food is damn good. But one thing I must say when you'll go there take you time.all good. So crowded restaurant. But service also best in class. When you go there must try in this restaurant. Thank you.

Situted in Shantiniketon but not very easy to find for the new comers. There are signbord everywhere but no arrow signage. Very well decorated. Have residential facilities also. Very testy food but pricey. Remains hugely crowded all time. You need to pay first. My overall experience was not so good.

Food was absolute worse. Stench of washroom was a constant issue. Availability of certain food items were not present, information of non availability was also not given while ordering the food. Will not recommend at all.

Me and my friends go there 31st july for our lunch. Our toto driver suggest us for this place. When we go there we loved the place. The restaurant has too much space and we don't need to wait for long, when we go there within a minute we got our seat. And there ambiance was really good. Wooden police table, there thala, bati, jug and glasses are pure kansa. There food order system is every one has to be order veg thali then you added what you want to eat like fish, chiken, egg everything. We ordered there 6 veg thali in veg thali there gave us basmati rice, beguni, dal, sukto, potol alur torkari, papad and chatni and all the items are unlimited.and extra we ordered katla kalia.the food taste was really really good.

The restaurant was well decorated and situated amidst greenery, we expected good food but overall the food was not up to mark. The menu says "pomfret maccher jhal" and "pabda maccher jhal" but basically we got that with "sorshe" (mustard). The gravy also had onions which was quite raw and bitter in taste. The "posto bora" was also awful. It's a good choice if you keep your order only limited to the veg thali

It is a very beautiful place to visit with anyone. The atmosphere of this place is very very very nice to spend your valuable time with your valuable person.

Food is good and cheaper than that of other popular places like Ram Shyam and Shakuntala.

Here the base veg meal price is Rs. 140 in AC restaurant.where as the other two will be charging you 170 and for AC they will charge 10% extra.

Owner are very good.stuff are also very cooperative.food is very testy. Interior is owsome. But one thing spot is far from main location. (ভালো খেতে নয় একটু দূরে আসলাম,)

Did not have a stay at this place, the location is a bit on the outskirt side. Heard this place serves good food so went on to taste and wasn't disappointed at all. The serving portions and the taste are all too good. Pricing is also fair, and the ambience is good as well. Is a must visit for the food while in shantiniketan.

The food was very bad, both the quality and the taste. Will not visit again. The experience and the food was not at all that of thakurbari standard. Extremely disappointed.

The place offers some of the best bengali cuisine you can get in shanti niketan at a resonable price. The place is hygienic and has a washroom. The only con is that it is too croweded especially if it's weekend, so expect some delay in receiving your orders

I had recently had lunch in this place along with my friends. The taste was very good of the vegetable but the shukto was little bit bitter. Overall the taste was awesome. The hospitality was great. Price is reasonable. I will recommend it to people.

I went and saw that there was no place. Somehow I got a seat and went to place an order. Two veggie dishes (rice, pulses, fried yams, shukto, patale curry, chutney, panpar) (₹ 140), posto bara (₹ 120), mutton (3 pieces ₹ 200), lobster malaikari (₹ 150). Ghee was kept in a bronze bowl at 1 o'clock on all the tables. Singing ghee, accompanied by hot rice. Each term tastes so wonderful

Ambience is good but taste of food is below average. We went for lunch on 23/6/2022 but we're highly disappointed with the taste of food. Cost is also a bit high.

Very tasty and good food specially served with kansar utensils i.e bengali traditional. Price also very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Food was good. However, it's always crowded and hard to get a table. One must secure a table first before buying food here.

This place in Shantiniketan is a perfect for lunch. It offers a wide variety of Bengali delicacies within an affordable price range. The staffs are courteous and hospitable in nature. The basic thali consists of rice, dal, sabji, begun bhaja, Pappad, payas and chutni. The non veg items has to be ordered as add-ons but they are also worth for money.
