Banante Resort

We booked 3 rooms. But rooms are quite old and least maintained. Specifically the bathrooms.dirty toilet, buckets, mugs. No dustbin provided in the room. No water jug even glass had been provided. U need to go outside of the room to throw trash. Gysers were removed from the bathroom. If u ask hot water then they will come with one bucket of hot water. Absolutely no value for money where basic requirements are not provided.
But the view was great from the balcony. And foods were very tasty. Authentic rare bengali foods were served. 4 time meals all were very delicious.

s not a resort. We booked three rooms. All rooms are very dirty and bad smell was coming from toilet. Charges are very high as per room condition. Horrible experience for me. Food quality was also very bad.

Rooms are basic.
Food, service, and location are excellent. Since the property is inside buxa tiger reserve, you should not expect luxary room here.

One can easily books Banante homestay for fooding and lodging purpose. The main attractions is the great view from this stay. Good is also good and their hospitability is also good. Staffs are cooperative. Rooms are not so good. But you may stay here for 1 or 2 nights with ur friends and family

Best place I've stayed at during the recent trip to buxa and jaldapara. The quality to price ratio of the food is great. 10/10 would recommend.

Nice view of Jayanti hills and river from this resort. Very peaceful and quiet place to stay here. Food items are mainly Bengali cuisine e.g. Dal, potato fry, fish curry and chicken, mutton etc.are well cooked and served here. Foods are fresh and tasty.

Rooms are not too good, but If you want to enjoy nature then location is best.

I am not expecting much in such remote place. But room is clean, washroom could be little better, no issue of hot water in cold January, food is testy and they offer plenty.our tour is totally arrenged by them, they r very caring about their guest need.

Good Rooms with water geyser, maximum 4 person occupancy per room. River and hill view, sufficient parking area for vehicles, as it's on a remote location, less food choices are available but still they have veg and non-veg option. They also provide/arrange jungle safari, Mahakal darshan etc. The area is under Forest Department, West Bengal.

Very good position. Just beside SSB camp. The river is in front of the resort (maximum 500 metre). Very enjoyable. Hill looks like very near. Scenic beauty is awesome. Owner is very Co-operative. Employees are polite. Overall highly recommended.

Banate Resort is situated on the Jayanti river bank. It is very near to Jayanti Forest Range. The food delivered here are best in that area. The rooms are good but one can't see the river bed from it's balcony. Its a kind of homestay.

The view is awesome from the room. But local people are doing potty in front of the hotel. This is not good. You have to keep clean a tourist spot. Jayanti is the queen of Dooars.

Food was amazing, rooms needs renovation. Place was amazing, view is mesmerizing. Peoples are friendly, well behaved. Must visit.

Banante resort is on the way to Mahakal Dham and located in the bank of Jayanti river. The scenic beauty is awesome. We went there for lunch.food quality was excellent. So many items were served. Hotel people ware also very cordial. It has also lodging arrangement but we did not use that.

The location of the resort is best.just beside the jayanti river bed. You can get the veiw of the river with hills from your room. The behaviour of the owner and staffs are very good. The cottages are nicely built. You can get Thali system meal with varieties of item and the taste of the food is good.

Great view of the dry river bed with best sunrise. The most important aspect of this resort is food. Be it veg egg fish and chicken. All staff and other are very friendly.

Two main good thing of this resort is their food and the location. Great location near jayanti river. Major problem is that their rooms are not good, it needs a lot of modification and maintenance as per their price.

Great place. Reasonable price. Green patch in front of the cottages. But the best part is the food. Every item is excellent at a fraction of the cost. Instead of sightseeing one might be tempted to eat 4-5 meals a day here.

The rooms are untidy and a lot of cleanliness work needs to be done. Giving the stars for the food and the location right infront of the jayanti river bed.

No transperency. There is no menu card. They charge food money as they wish. No wi fi. Except location and food taste all are very bad

Not very good and not very bad. Near to jayanti river bed so view is good. Can walk to the river. Cost is a bit high as compared to room. You have to burgain.

Pathetic experience they shoft you to other hotel, no service no food, rude behaviour of staff. A guy called kalu and his borther is pathetic. Stay away from this.

Great location, just on the bank of jayanti river. Mostly people stay here for its food, all other resorts also send their guests to banante for lunch dinner and breakfast

Good rooms and very good location. Though foods were bland in taste and upon telling them they argued with us. As food was not in package we had our dinner outside, it was much cheaper and very tasty. I'm only giving 4 stars for the rooms and location.

Beside jayaanti river.boxa.not good looking environment.but chippest cottage for a night halt.water condition not good.stuff are good.

A beautiful place to visit forcpeople loving nature. One can attain unconditional peace visiting this place. The river in front of the resort adds to the beauty. The Buxa Tiger start surrounds this place.

This resort is beautiful and nice.every member of this resort has nice behavior and co operative. And this resort, s meal is very tasty and clean. I am so much glad and satisfied to be a customer of this resort.

The place is situated very close to Jayanti River. Plus points to location but the rooms need maintenance. Point of advice: carry bug and mosquito repellents and be prepared for power cuts all night
