The guy receiving the phone is utterly rude. Ordered 2 rasgolla tins on zomato and called them to provide fresher ones. They told that all their tins contain same manufacturing date. That's fine. Since I already mentioned it (to provide fresh rasgolla) in special instructions in zomato, I texted it Zomato to get the special instruction confirmed (usually I do that while ordering food for guests). So, as usual, the Zomato assistant called the restaurant to convey it. Then, that guy (from the sweet shop) called me and was furious and told me why did I call Zomato customer service. Well, is there anything wrong for a customer in asking for fresh food and getting it confirmed once more? Let me know if you have the answer.
The sweet shop is the best here. Wide variety of sweets at reasonable price. The misti doi is very much famous here. And it is the best here. I like the tastes of the other sweets. It is totally fresh and I like ordering from here.
Not your typical diabetes supplier. Sweets were not too sweet, which is good. Boxed them up and flew them with me to Mumbai with the intent to share them with my neighbours. Ate most of them on the flight. Don't tell my neighbours.
People need to know how frequently tastes of sweet are being changed. Also some delicious sweets should always be ready for bulk purchase. These sweets will be fresh even after 10 days of storage.
Special Janmasthami sweets from Banccharam. The sweets were excellent how we price is very high. Not economical for regular purchase. All sweets above Rs 10/-
Pure love. Apart from the mishti, I really recommend you to try out their LUCHI, CHOLAR DAL and Khichudi.it's mind-blowing. Literally worth trying. Highly highly highly recommended.
A wide variety of sweets are available here for a very reasonable price From old classics to newer, 'fusion' sweets to cadbury sweets, they have them all here. Not just sweets, they also have a wide array of savoury items are also available here. They also offer take away facility
Sweets are delicious here. Especially, the Bengali ones. They also do a decent job of making snacks and other types of desserts. There's not much space for dine in and it's a better idea to go for takeaway. Service is ok but problematic during rush hour. Some staff have a bit of an attitude. Highly recommended for sweets and snacks. Dahi Vada and Dosa are great. As are the yummy sandesh items and baked rasogolla.
Quality of food not very good according to me. Staff also not trained well. Gets irritated when asked about different types of sweets. The outlet at Kasba is much better.
This place is good for snack and sweet items.they have variety of sweets.sitting space is spacious but limited to 8 to 10 people.price range is reasonable but a bit overpriced for the sweet items.
This sweetmaker is also known for its Lal Mishti Doi and a variety of sandesh like the Notun Gurer Sandesh (a winter speciality), Lotus Sandesh, Jolbhora Sandesh and Malai Sandesh. On the savoury side are Shingara, Vegetable Chop and home-style Bengali paratha made in ghee along with Aloo Dum.
Good ambience. Taste of sweets just ok. Price is very big, size and amount too small. Expecting big improvement in respect of taste - size/amount and price
