U will literally find everything here starting from Clothing, Footwear, Daily grocery items, etc.in short it is shopping mall which doesn't look like one. Only negative feedback is the hygiene.
The market is the place to buy anything and whatever one wants is available here. For day-to-day shopping, this place is a store house for stuffs that are needed. The placement is great but the garbage dump right beside it, adds a disadvantageous side to it. The stench from the dump is too much to handle. It would be better if people take more care while dumping garbage, especially since the place is right at the main streets.
Bansdroni supar market located in bansdroni main road. Here you get everything you want from garment to grocery and accessories. There are basement market where you can buy groceries. And in top floor you can buy garments. Saloon and spa is there in top floor. And in ground floor you can get some garments shop and veneration materials
Bansdroni supermarket is a nice market in the southern part of Kolkata, specially it's fish and vegetables market. You will get all kind of fish here in reasonable price. Similarly, you get varieties of fresh vegetables also at reasonable price. The market is well connected by bus, auto, rickshaw and above all the Metro rail. Masterda Surya Sen metro station is just about 500meters away from the supermarket. I suggest this market may be handed over to some bussiness house for its over all development.
It is a market complex in a two storied building and is at N. S. C. Bose road, Kolkata 700047. Just two minutes walk from Masterda Surja sen Metro railway station. The basement is a vegetable market. One may also get fresh fish and chiken meat well dressed to order. First floor one may get Groceries, utensils, paper and cosmetics shops. 2nd floor is having clothing shops including readymade garments.
Not in the league of Gariahat or Lake Market, but has all the resources to satisfy one's basic needs.and a bit more. The regular vegetable and fish market is more noteworthy and best in this locality. However, the adjoining road remains eternally congested because of this market.
Very good market place for daily needs. It got a vegetable market in the basement. The options are vast and quality is the best. Ground floor and first floor got many other shops. You can get utensils, garments, stationery, gift items, under garments, toys, perfumes and what not in here.
The name supermarket is misleading. It's really a municipal market, with houses a vegetable market, fish market, some small clothes stores, some small cosmetic stores and a couple of small grocery stores.
One of the Best market in South Kolkata for vegetables. Better than gariahat market. Chicken quality is also better than many other markets. Obviously, price is more and also less negotiable.
This place has everything you need to run a household every month. Fresh veggies, fruits, fish, chicken, mutton, groceries, clothes, kitchen appliances, tailor, stationery, etc
Located on main road (N. S. Bose Road) at Bansdroni, it's a lively shopping space unlike plush air-conditioned shopping malls. This G + 2 building is located on the left hand side of the road if one approaches Bansdroni from Ranikuthi or say, Tollygunge and is filled with different types of small shops. Types of shops include 1. Stationery and grocery. 2. Household items like utensils, plastic containers, buckets, mugs, etc. 3. Writing instruments. 4. Shoes and slippers. 5. Garments especially on first and secomd floors. 6. Tailoring services. 7. Flower shops at entry/exit road.
There are even narrow alleys inside the market where shops are located.
The target audience of the market is middle and lower middle income bracket of the community. Therefore, in most cases prices are very reasonable. Plus, there is competition among shops selling same or similar items. For not being an air-conditioned market requires lesser establishment cost. This helps traders to charge a realatively lower price. The flip side, however, is shopping for longer hours during hot and humid summer months of Kolkata is a difficult proposition.
