It was my great experience with this wonderful guest house and the faculties was so generous and polite.this is the nice place in south kolkata to stay for such warm experience.

As per the rooms the tariff should be under 1000. Location wise good. Service was satisfactory. Behaviour of the receptionist was welcoming. Smooth check in and check out process.

Stayed here for one night only.

Affordable obviously no doubt about that part. And for that reason rooms are not that great. Bathroom taps were lose or broken. AC have huge noise. But the area nearby was peaceful and there were lots of food options as the room was really close to Gariahat.

One of the best Guest House in Kolkata for your Vacation. Staffs were humble and friendly, prime location and ambience was excellent.

Rooms are not huge but are clean and tidy. Rooms are fitted with AC and has hot water geysers in the washroom.
They provide bottled water for drinking.
Walkable distance from Golpark circle.
It's only for lodging as dining facility is not there.

I booked a room for my husband, the rooms are so tiny it's not possible to stay. Service is horrible, they don't pickup the phone not answer to any of your queries. Pls think before booking.

I had on an earlier visit written a very good review but in Oct 2022 I cannnot say the same. The location of the place is very central and the staff are very friendly but that is all. Even for a basic guest house it is below par. The rooms are small which may be fine but are badly maintained. The walls have not been white washed for years, the bathroom has never been deep cleaned ever, WiFi signal is patchy. I had a package with complimentary breakfast. The only item offered was Puri Subzi on all days. On enquires the staff said that the toaster was broken and so this was all they could offer. I am unlikely to stay here any further.

Everything is perfect, no question asked check in (just provide required identity card like VOTER, AADHAR, PASSPORT, DL), the location, the staff and the ambience all were perfect. Breakfast was really good. The only downside was that they provided two single beds with two single mattresses (a one piece double mattress would have been great). That was a little bit of an odd situation to be in. Everything else was just fine and smooth.

The experience was nice. The staffs were good in behaviour as it was the 2nd visit of my friend. They gave us complimentary breakfast for 3days (2N and 3Days). The rooms were good but not excellent. The staffs were happy to see him for the second time and gave him a little discount on all over the price.

Prime location. Polite and co-operative staff. Small and little dingy rooms. A bit old. But if you don't want to spend a whole lot of money, it's one of the only few budget options in and around the area which can provide you decent accommodation. Overall good in it's budget, keeping the location factor in mind.

The SAFE and the BEST guest house for the once those staying outside Kolkata ‍️.
1. Rooms (including washroom) are clean and tidy.
2. Staffs are helpful️.
3. The behaviour of the Manager is so humble and friendly. They're really cooperative.
4. Amenities are well maintained.
5. It has it's best location as you'll get Bengali Restaurants️nearby and also Rabindra Sarovar also Bus Stop.

Right from time I called them for booking the room, upto the final checkout I had a pleasant experience. The services, the behaviour of the staff, especially Mr. Abhishek (he manages the place) was extremely good. They provided breakfast even at 7: 00am as I had to leave early everyday, which they usually do at 8: 30am. I would highly recommend the place, be it for family/friends/solo.

Rooms were okay. Attendents were quite helpful. Overall the experience was very good considering the location and price.

The service provided by the guest house is amazing. Specially the behaviour towards the guest is homely. I can specially thank Ms. Sanjana for providing the support and caring throughput 24*7 during my stay. The location has well connectivity across. The ambience of the guest house is homely. Foods catered by them are also hygienic. Its completely a good experience while staying there.

Rooms are clean and well decorated. All staffs are very good. One will get good comfort here. There are so many restaurants nearby the guest house.

The experience out here at Basera Guest House has been quite brilliant.
The most important thing to mention is the way the entire staff (comprising from receptionist, to manager, to the boys and all other staff), had shown great concern for every guests has been beautiful to stay out here.
The room's been quite nice to stay and overall the staying experience has been top notch.

It was an awesome experience and a home away from home. What awed us the most was the helpful attitude of the staff.

Basera Guest House is well located in one of the clean, posh areas of Kolkata. The property is clean and well maintained. The staff is courteous and friendly. They take care of sanitizing the rooms, and even showed me the machine they use while they were using it in one of the rooms. Overall this place offered a good stay.

This guest house was very beautiful and lovely. The room in which I stayed with my family was very large and comfortable. There were two bedrooms. One of the bedroom was beside the balcony. The bathroom was also spacious. The food was also very delicious. The service was also very much nice. They had done all the things we required. After all the guest house was very much lovely and caring.

The place is located just beside HDFC Bank Golpark Branch. So location is quite easy. The rooms are above average and hospitality is also good. They have suite rooms which are quite spacious and their security staff and housekeeping is also quite good. The pricing is a bit higher as compared to the rooms on offer. Otherwise its a decent place for a few days.

Nice location and gentle behaviour of staffs. Just beside HDFC Bank ATM near Golpark area. Very well connectivity with the rest of Kolkata.

A very family friendly guest house to stay in, prices are very nominal and the room sanitation and hygiene is properly maintained daily. The rooms are quite spacious and dust free. The staff is polite and well-mannered and educated in housekeeping manners.
Speaking for the location it's near Ramakrishna mission and gol chakar and walking distance near Gariahat market.
It has a combined toilet and bathroom and it's a wet toilet.
They also provide breakfast and there is a small restaurant next door.
Overall I would personally rate it a 5/5 and can vouch that stay in this guest house is quite pleasant.

Very bad experience. I would not advice anyone to stay over there. I was in room no 101. Room condition was very bad, not properly cleaned. AC was not working, in spite of several reminders they did not change the room. The non working AC was attended only at 10 p.m in the night. The AC was very Old one and the sound disturbed me through out the night. There was no door mat neither outside the bath room not anywhere inside the room. While contacting reception, they replied that it is not provided.
1. Reception staffs are not at all co-operative.
2. The housekeeping staffs are very much co-operative, friendly and caring. They are the main asset of this hotel.
If I will be asked to rate I will rate 1.5 out of 5 POINTS.

The location is very good, this hotel is located in near golpark, u can get everything near the hotel, hotel is very clean and staff behavior was also very good

Great ambience and cosy rooms with clean attached toilet at a grand budget rate.what more can you ask for? The service, although lacks in glamour, is fairly prompt and the best part of this deal is the location. In the heart of South Kolkata, with easy connectivity with the rest of the city is an added bonus.

My stay was very comfortable. I was welcomed with smile at the reception and provided water to drink. Staff was cooperative. They provided everything I asked for. For travellers with reasonable budget, it is a place worth to stay. Although room size was small but it was clean. They clean multiple times too on request. Its location was very important as it was close to Goal Park which is a prime location in terms of connectivity. Cabs, autos are available there all the time. Among all budgetary accomodations, this place is quite suitable.

Everything about the rooms and location is good. Bathroom are equiped with geyser. Room was equiped with electric kettle with milk powder, tee and coffee. Staffs are friendly. Check in before 4pm to avoid any problems.
