Our Mandir, 600 years back Chand saudagar was established. The Bataitala Batai Chandi mandir is a Chandi mata mandir the sebaits and owner of the mandir is Halder family.and me Spandan Halder is also one of them.

It is a big market where you will find everything starting from grocery, vegetables, fish, meat, fruits etc. But the price of fishes is bit on the higher sides otherwise all other items are with in affordable range. As there is lot of shops, so you will get enough options to buy products from. Worth visiting market if you want fresh items with in affordable rate.

Once I came here at morning to meet one of my friends.suddenly I felt hungry when I was looking for vehicle to go back then I seriously dont even have a simple restaurant here.only sweet shop.

It is one of the most popular market place just in the side of the Shalimar Railway Station. One end connected to the shalimar 2nd gate crossing. Other end is connected to the andul road. From whre we can got the buses to Howrah and andul mouri alampur sankrail. Price is not so much less. Its medium like the thela walas in the area.
