One of the best Chinese cuisine they serve, but I always feel the Starters are better than Main course.
One of the best quality of service is that they serve food very fast, you order and food is ready in 5 mins.
The atmosphere is missing a bit Chinese flavour though.

It is another popular restaurant in China town, the quality and quantity of food both is well maintained. A versatile place for lunch dinner or hangouts. Pocket pinch could be 700-800 per head minimum.

Alcohol is too costly. No bottle system. Only peg system. Food is excellent. Good for family gathering

Response time for order: We went in the rush hour of Christmas Eve. Took around 25 mins to produce food at our table.

Area/locality: Clumsy, busy and not so clean.

Parking: Option for 2 wheeler is good. 4 wheeler parking is not so good.

Staff behaviour: Fair. Not super polite but professional.

Suggestion for first time visitor: Surely can visit.but avoid rush days if u want to try out different menus.

Ambience is good, service is good, food quality and taste is good. Only downside is they use less quantity of stuffing e.g. Chicken wanton, crispy chicken roll compared to other well known china town restaurants

We had wonderful time having lunch here at Beijing. The dishes were authentic and very palatable.

For the price you pay the quantity is amazing, taste is really good (beware of ajinomoto usage though) and the decor too is pretty good when compared to most other Chinese restaurants in Tangra. Only the menu spread is a little limited. However they pretty well make up for this with the fare they dish out!

Beijing is one of the best dining spots in China Town. Lately a lot of Chinese eateries have sprung up in the area but Beijing still holds its charm. Parking of 4 wheelers becomes a big problem on busy days but 2 wheeler parking is quite convenient. Food is always fantastic. Bejing does not serve pork, so pork lovers need to find some other place.

Went on durga puja. For lunch. Ordered many items.one of them was dragon chicken and an item of prawn. The chicken was nothing but fried like chicken pakora, and prawn was cold and not cooked properly. Didn't expect this from Beijing. Disappointed.

Dried up noodles pieces on menu card, remains of food stuck on table cloths and waiters responding only after numerous calls really were cause of irritation.

I am visiting Beijing for last 6 years, mainly on my birthday. I am really satisfied with the restaurant and it's foods. The food have perfect spices, sauce, oil and all according to me & my family's taste because we prefer less oily & spicy food. It is really cosy there and I enjoy my time there. They always serve me freshly cooked food. I will recommend you to have a visit there.

Very oily food.chilli Chicken had no sauce.pepper chilli garlic fish was loaded with flour coating and greasy.taste was extremely ordinary.

Recommend! Food are good, prices are reasonable, they haven’t changed for faulty food. But they violate West Bengal government rules regarding package water. They charged extra 10 rupees per bottle which is against Law at West Bengal. Staffs are very polite!

It was good. But if I have to suggest to any one of my friends or family. I ll say, just go 100mtrs more, and visit Big boss. It's much better nd cheaper.

OVERRATED AND OVERPRICED!

500 bucks for 12 pieces of oil filled small chunks of chicken is not my type of food. I have no idea, why are they charging so much for just average food! In other restaurants in and around Tangra atleast you get you money's worth of quantity but not in this one! The Chicken sweet corn soup may have sweet in the name, but by the amount of sugar that was poured in the soup even the dessert would get shy! The noodles were also just average

My first visit to China town Kolkata. Had really high hopes for the place. But really disappointed with the food which I did not find different since its china town kolkata. Also the service was terrible.there we only 3 tables which occupied customers however the waiters were never attending us.also they seemed to be in a hurry, always running away from the table. Really disappointed with the visit.

In this Covid time they've taken first rate precaution and preventive measures. The sitting arrangement is restructured as according to norms. Hand sanitization as well as full body sanitization is a have to and they have right infrastructure for it.meals is brilliant as earlier than though the menu is truncated because of little footfall. Separate entry factor for transport offerings. Takeaway is recommended.without difficulty sanitizable plastic bins are being used for food shipping.

Service is getting worse now, too much of greedy waiters, food quality, though got worst than before, still okay okay fir authenticity. Overall a good experience if you have time to manage their slow lazy type service.

The food was good. The quantity they provide, that was also sufficient. I have no complain on that. But the thing I did not like, rather this has been a practice throughout most of the restaurants in the city, that is charging for a container if asked to pack. May I ask one thing, is it possible to take away food on a hand? It is a natural thing that the food has to be taken away in a container right? Or that should be the responsibility of the customer to bring in the container? As if I am getting penalized for not being able to finish the food sitting in the restaurant and also not wanting to waste it either.
Now everyone might say, why are you arguing for just 10 rupees, 1) question is not about the money, its the practice which is now prevalent, 2) If 10 rupees is not a factor, then why it is being charged? Sorry, I didn't like that.

We went there on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded so we had to wait 10 to 15 mins to get seated. We got our food after 30 min from ordering. The hakka noodles were delicious but the fried rice was too oily and looked a bit old, chilli chicken was nothing special either it was pretty basic, Shanghai chicken was good and the shrimp crackers too oily. Overall decent food and ambience, staff were well behaved.

Very offended with the service.first of all they dont serve water untill u call them. 2ndly none of the waiters attends the customers.if ordered drinks they dont serve complementary strters.they dont even clean the table before serving other dishes.

Good restaurant, service could be better, overall the Chinese food is become too much indianized and does taste the authentic Chinese anymore but that maybe because the customers like this taste better, Quantity is ok and price is ok too. I just wish it retained some of its original Chinese food taste

Drinks available but no complementary finger food is available.
And moreover service is a bit slow and the behaviour of the waiters arent that good.

Since most of the time, having fun at China Town means having delicious foods and beverages at Beijing (it's a natural instinct to think like this way), therefore it is very much important to keep its standard high as always.however after long time visit at Beijing, I found below bullet's can be looked upon to stay relevant.

1. Choice of Starters included veg + non veg items need to added in menu
2. Quality and quantity need to be considered as per standard practice
3. Some extra items in menu can be added.which can added some extra cuisine like Pork, Lamb, Duck items.
4. Service personnel need to be more prompt and effective towards their services.

It's a simple suggestion/ advice since we expect good service level commitment which now a days are missing compare to old days of " Beijing- China Town"

Really love the food it was one of the best that we had in Kolkata and given the location of this place which is not exactly on the main street we were really surprised with the kind of amazing food and tasty food that we was out with the staff was also really amazing and thanks for the really great delicious lunch that we had at the Beijing restaurant

Had heard a lot of good things about bejing.visiting china town for the last 13 years, had gone to many restaurants at china town, but very sorry to say that there food quality there service is not at all good when compared to other restaurants of china town.tried prawn chips, its too much oily.tried salt and pepper fish, golden fried prawns, quantity is very less compared to other restaurants specially as when compared to golden joy. Hospitality is not at all good.some staffs gets irritated very quickly. Bejing doesn't provide bottle system in terms of hard liquor, they close too early. Overall Bejing was completely a dissatisfaction to me.

The food and service quality of the restaurant have deteriorated over the years. They simply can't handle more customers. I visited the restaurant yesterday and ordered prawn crackers, Hakka mixed noodles and schzewan chicken. While the crackers and chicken came in time, they came with fried rice instead of noodles. When we refused to have fried rice, we were made to wait for around 15 min to receive our correct order. No one served food to us nor asked if we would like to have desert. Though I am a customer of the restaurant for more than 10 years now, I have decided not to go to Beijing anymore. Extremely poor service and inspite of so many service boys/waiters, no one takes responsibility of orders and tables

Beijing has always been my favourite since childhood. They might want to give their interior a makeover. Food is excellent.

Located in a very bad area. Do not go with your family. You wife or girl friend can be mollested in that area. Food quality is good. But that area is not for family restaurant. Restaurant stuffs are also looking in very bad way.

Fantastic Chinese food in the China Town area near Topsia. The quality of the foods are good and the staffs are very much friendly. Nice place to have food and drinks together and hang out with friends.

A good experience with reasonable price. Food quantity is pretty generous. The waiters are equally efficient. We really like the fish finger. It had a delicious and crunchy coating along with a good amount of fish. I wouldn't recommend the crispy baby corn. To sum it up, I would recommend to visit this place.

One the best and oldest Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. Tried only non-veg options and food was really good. Quantity was fine. Ambience was nice but could have been better I feel. Service was a little slow. But overall, I'd say a good place for authentic Chinese food in the city.

I really hated the service part of it. We went when there is not many people around so we expected a better service from staffs. I literally had to call waiters for taking orders and then it took lots of time for them to respond with the foods we have ordered.

Taste wasnt good. Specially honey chicken was testing like chicken pickle. For fresh lime soda, We were kept waiting for more than half an hour, which was, I think one of the longest time I ever had to wait in any restaurant.

For people not used to eating Chinese food. Am one among u btw. I had "half" wonton soup.it came with six wontons! Taste was good tho! So just ensure the portion size before ordering.

Top class food quality probably the best Chinese restaurant in Kolkata. Located in chaina town of Kolkata, near EM Bypass. Specially Chinese foods, soft drinks and wines are available. It's a two storied restaurant with vallate parking at the basement. Staffs are very nice and helpful.
