An age old heritage sweet shop of kolkata. This is situated in the bowbazar area and 10 mins walking distance from Goenka College of commerce.
The best sandesh sweet shop for me across west Bengal. A few best ones are:
1. Badshaahi bhog
2. Dilkush
3. Paradise
4. Abar khabo
5. Ghee balushai
6. Kesar sandesh.
7. Paan sandesh
8. Chocolate sandesh.
The prices are starting from 25/- a piece till 50/- per piece but you will not regret the taste of it. This is highly recommended and a must visit shop in kolkata.

Went to this place after reading online. I was staying near metro station and wanted to try Kolkata sweets. Shop is clean not sure sweets are fresh or not. Taste was just average. Service is slow. Wanted to try mishti doi but minimum quantity is 250 gm.

The most recent change noticeable was the reserved parking for customers, this is a very congested part of Kolkata and I had to park my car pretty far and then rush to buy sweets at this shop but no more.
Each Rossogolla costs ₹20/each and an entire Handi can fit 30 of them.
Staff is very helpful and the taste blew my mind once again, no other sweet shop in Kolkata can make Rossogollas like Bhim Chandra Nag.

This is a very old sweet shop and the sweets are so famous and really very tasty especially dilkhush sandesh, mango mishty dahi, gulab pati sandesh, butterscoth sandesh and many more which i cant describe.i must say peole must try this sweet shop they will always buy from here only.

If you are in kolkata and love sweets like me, then it is one of the must visit places for you. There are so many different varieties that you will feel like eating the whole lot. However, the best as per my taste were the Jalbhara, mishti doi and all the sondesh.

This is certainly a extremely overhyped place. Some of the sweets are good but not anything to die for. The staff at the shop is not courteous and obliging towards new customers. They are always busy serving their patron's and completely ignore the fact that it will coming new customers and treating them well will create even more patronage. Over all the products are average to good and the service is poor.

One of the oldest sweets shops in Kolkata. Recently they have renovated their shop to give a better look. There is another branch near Vivekananda Road, it is equally good as the main branch. You should try out some sweets like "Abr khabo, Rosemary, Ice cream sandesh" etc.

Founded by Late. Bhim Chandra Nag, This heritage sweet shop has delivered many famous sweets and still doing it elegantly.
Those who have read " feluda" of Satyajit Ray and came to know about wall clock made by " cook and kelvie (not sure about the spelling though) can come here and see one of those still hanging and in operation here.
I deducted one star only because they often run out of stock for sweets.

I got Sandesh for family and other stuff from history books - unfortunately, they said they had run out of Ladykenny - the sweetmeat they the shop innovated and produced for Lady Canning for her birthday party.
