Most of the item we tried to order was not available but the Food we eventually had, was good. Lacking in hospitality.

Both in quantity and quality
It was brought from freeze and heated up

Food quality is good. But the staffs are very careless. They provided us wrong bills three times. Also they did not provide any bowl for putting discarded food materials. These things needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

The food in this outlet in Hazra is not up to the mark! Prices as usual are too high but it doesn't have authentic bengali as it promises

Best bengali cuisine.speciaaly the items like kochu pata chingri, ilish vapa, posto bora etc.veg thali contain luchi, begun vaja, cholar dal, rice, ghee, sukto, 2veg curry according to your choice, chatni, misti doi, misti at 320/. You can add any other dishes with it.the food quality is very good but they should take care of ambience

Over the centuries Bengali cuisine has incorporated a wide range of vegetables, fish, meat and spices and different preparation styles - sheddho (boliled), bata (paste), pora (barbecued), bhapa (steamed), bhaja (fried) and jhol-jhal-shorshe (curried).

A protocol of having a typical Bengali meal has evolved traditionally starting with a bitter preparation and ending with sweets. ​

They are cheaters.serves frozen items just by heating them on microwave.quantity and quality both are disgusting.dont visit this branch.

Serve authentic Bengali delicacies. Specially fish items are very tasty. Thalis served here, are alluring for foodies. It has many outlet in kolkata. Take out option is available here. You can also order by food delivery apps.

We ordered fish curry but it was super salty! Upon telling they did gave a different curry! Pulao was sweet? Bengali vegetable dish was also OK!
Service wasn't so good

Went to Hazra branch. It has small capacity. Ordered quite a few items and liked all of them. The items tried were-
1) Fowl Cutlet- 10/10
2) Plain Rice, Aloo Bhaja, Dal - 8/10
3) Shukto - 6/10 (taste was good but the item served was cold, if it were lukewarm it would have tasted better)
4) Chicken Dakbanglo -10/10 (just awesome)
5) Notun Gur Icecream -10/10 (price is on higher side)

The portion of items served were not enough as per the price range. The taste of the items are really good.

The quality is not the same everywhere. The superjumbo ilish was not even jumbo sized. Very disappointing for the customer.

What a waste of money. I went there to eat authentic bengali food, what i got is an average food. Will never visit this place again.

I liked their dishes.quality food. But the quantity of one bowl rice is very less. Otherwise they had prefect belgali dishes.

I have written my experience to your dine in service in as arranged manner as I can. Do not get offended after reading this, I have just shared what I experienced and what I have expected for the amount I paid in parallel
I went to Bhojohori Manna with my family on my sister's suggestion. There are quite a number of things I would like to highlight.
1. Firstly to begin with the Esplanade branch seemed lacking space and to some extent was congested too.
2. The wash basin / toilet area is same and is very small. As a restaurant which claims to serve a good experience to the Bengali mass, I find it a bit inconvenient to use the basin entering the toilet with number of people and staffs continuously walking in & out of the toilet.
3. The cutillar and glasses was not clean
4. This branch did not have a kitchen and everything they served was microwaved in front of your eyes and then poured into your plates. And one of their most special delicacy Dab Chingri that was served within a coconut was actually prepared in gas on kadhai
5. Now comming to the food department I have a lot of things to say. (We have ordered 1 dab chingri, 1 mutton curry with dhania, 1 hilsa fish paturi, alu Jhuri, mochar torkari)
5.1. I took the Mutton curry with dhania. It was horrible the mutton was not cooked and tenderised properly. When cooking a mutton dish you alaways want the masala to naturally stick to the mutton and provide a coating along with the translucent onions that is "kosha". And the gravy to be thick with a pinch of aroma of dhone. The one that I had was not cooked, meat was fiberous and the gravy is liquidish with powered spice floating on it. And let me tell you why this happened. While cooking the mutton was not properly stair fried with the spices i.e. Kosha Hoi ni. Mutton was put into the kadhai with masala and within 5 min. Of which water was poured into it it to seam- cook the whole thing
5.2. The Dab chingri was a real disappointment. It lacked any flavour of coconut and the prawn served was not fresh. It smelled like amonia. And to the rates charged by this resturant Rs. 650 the servings that they offer should actually charge Rs. 250. I can gladly say I have tried some of the best preparation of chingri in Kolkata within the price bracket of Rs. 180
5.3. The illish paturi was ok
5.4 Mocha ghonto was the only thing that was cooked as par the money. But still the quantity is questionable
5.5 The only thing I find edible was the rice and the alu Jhuri and the lemon served as complimentary
6. However the servers and staffs were polite and very well behaved. The only thing I like about this resturant and the only thing that probably make me visit this resturant once again. But definitely not the food

I felt only those person should invest their money in their service in whose home food is not cooked on a daily a basis. Or else whose mom is a bad cook. Go ahead the gates are open for all of you

No menu card.price on board unintelligible.some prices not even listed.food ok but does not justify the high price.cramped seating

Have no kitchen, food comes from different place & stored here for served customer. So full menus generally not available here.

Had food at Bhojohori Manna, Dharmatala before and the experience was very good. But the experience in this outlet was pretty bad. When we entered the hotel for dinner at around 9 pm, there was no customer inside. We asked for the menu card to order food, however, were told that we could order by having a look at the black board which contained the menu. Many items were not available. The food was cold and tasteless. The sweet curd was stale, when I pointed it out they simply took it away without even saying sorry.

Although it's a huge name when it comes to bengali cuisine, it disappointed me in terms of ambience and foods. There is no proper menu card, you have to make order looking at the black board where items and prices are written in chalk. But majority of them aren't available usually. They have many scopes to improve their service.
