Certainly! When it comes to dining at a restaurant, you can expect a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes and cuisines. Restaurants typically have menus with options like appetizers, main courses, desserts, and beverages. The type of food and quality can vary widely depending on the restaurant's theme and style, such as fine dining, fast food, or ethnic cuisine. If you have specific questions or need recommendations, feel free to ask!
A small branch of the famous restaurant chain. Loved that plates are topped with real banana leaf to give the proper Bengali feel. We tried Mutton Dak Bunglow, Juri Alu Bhaja, Mocha Ghonto with Rice as our main course and Nalen Gurer ice-cream as desert. Food tasted amazing; specially the ice-cream, it was scrumptious. I felt portion sizes are a bit small. Washroom was clean compared to other public areas.
Excellence food, the most awesome thing about their cooking is that it is very similar to homemade bengali food which is very healthy and tastes delicious
Quantity with quality along with rates has detoriated in a massive manner. Rather some other pice hotels in kolkata are giving far better if compared judiciously.
I had ordered tawa roti and jhinge posto. Quantity of posto was tooo less and size of roti was also small. Overall food quality is poor. I won't recommend anyone to buy food from here.
Its a benagli restaurant and the name is known by mostly everyone. The food is too delicious! To be very honest. You name any bengali dish that you crave for they have it. The ambience and cleanliness is not upto the mark. So if you are looking for budget friendly and tasty bengali food after a tiring walk in the market, this is your place!
It is used to be best bengali cuisune restaurent in kolkata but some of the franchise have better ambience but food quality are same across all the restaurant. Dover Lane's one is the first among all. Sector V's one is the specious, ambience wise is the best as per my opinion.
I have visited this place quite a lot of times and the food here is just amazing if u are looking for authentic and old rustic Bengali flavours. The restaurant is quite small and can hardly accomodate 15-20 people gathering so being here could be difficult at peak seasons (like at the time of Durga Puja). Location is also somewhat not difficult to find as the famous ekdaliya housing society is just behind it so easy to reach. Finally I would say this place is a must visit if u r missing old Bengali recipes and want to relieve u childhood memories of ur mother's food.
Food quality is best as expected, this is my all time favourite for lunch and dinner. I prefer this hotel every time. The Bengali's the food lover's all time favourite Bhojohori manna. They always maintain their food quality and taste. But one is a little congested than other Bhojohori Manna outlets.
Five stars for the food. Everything about bhojohori manna is about simple and delicious food. We ordered 3 or 4 types of fish dishes, a mutton dish and rice. The best thing me and my cousin found out that even after all these items, our stomach felt fine and very light. The staff is also very courteous.
Think they've got undue publicity because of the name which Bengalis can relate deeply, though the quality of food is not bad but the quantity is too insufficient. And the price is plain robbery in broad daylight.
If u want to taste Bengali food, it's like one of the places that serves especially Bengali food. But there is space problem, very small space, kind of congested. But food is good.
Serving quantity is extremely less as compared to price. Further there is extremely less menus to select from the white board. All the menus are not available on all days.
The ballugunge phari outlet is tiny and very cramped, you will be banging elbows and shoulders with others at your table. Service is strictly below average. A very unfriendly and unhelpful staff who are not really bothered about the customers. There are no printed menus but a laundry list of items is written on a white board which customers are expected to read off and order. If your table is not bang opposite the board, you will have to keep getting up to take a peek. The food, while not bad, is really nothing special - most Bengali home kitchens can produce same or even better quality of food. The portions compared to the prices are woefully inadequate. Not a good experience and not likely to go back again. There are far better restaurants available offering far betterment Bengali cuisine and experience. The restaurant's reputation is certainly over hyped.
Food quality very good but overpriced.really overpriced! Besides this the food quantity is less compared to other places and specially this branch is very small in size compared to other outlets of them. You can visit Bhojohori Manna's other outlets but not this one if you want spend a good time and enjoy authentic Bengali foods.
Bhojohori manna is one of the best Bangali cozy restaurant. It is soo popular and famous. Foods are soo good in quality and quantity. Very tasty food. All the dishes are cooked with hygiene. Various types of authentic Bangali dishes are available. Price is little bit high bit soo compatible and value of money. Each and every items are soo soo tasty. A very good place for food with family and friends.
The place is very small. When we were there, their stuffs are having an ugly fight. They even didn't pay any attention that we are having lunch. I believe its overpriced and overhyped. Quality of food was average.
Lip-smacking, traditional Bengali food serve hot on a Banana leaf platter just made my day. But the chicken could have been better. There should have been no sugar at all! And chicken should have been brined more to make it soft. To top it up, Aam chutney was the Ultima Thule.
Went here with a recommendation of trying their Prawns and mutton. I ordered Malaikari Chingri and Chicken Kosha and Rotis.
Malaikari Chingri was too oily and had two medium sized Prawns with little gravy. Although it tasted good (bound to taste good with so much of oil), for the price of 250, it was not worth the price. Had to order chicken Kosha because this Prawns dish did not suffice and could only finish two rotis with it
Chicken Kosha was ok with again very little gravy and oily. I had asked them to use less oil but still was little oily. Chicken was little hard for the liking
Overall, the experience was ok and nothing great. At max deserves a 3.5 stars for the food quantity and quality.
The sitting arrangements is very low. Only 15-20 people can sit inside. You have to wait outside on the road for long time to get your turn that also by entering your name. The foods are so so.
If you visit kolkata and want to have authentic bengali cuisines, visit this place, this is in the main market area garihat.food taste is good and non vegetarians will enjoy the food.
Price to quantity is very low, 2 maxi thali is not enough for one person specially when u hungry and its lunchtime. Jumbo dab chingri feels like medium sized chingri. Polao in thali is just ghee bhaat with very little cashew and raisins. Table for two is very less spacious.
