Food is over over priced as compare to the quality and even the quantity. The quality of the food below standard and the staff behaviour is pathetic they will never serve you the food you want to eat on the contrary they will serve you the food what they want you to eat.
Overpriced that other Bengali restaurants. Didn't liked the chicken and mutton jhol, also the size and portion. Fish fry was good but not interms of size and portion.
Staff attitudes are awful and they don’t make you feel welcome! Most items on the menu are unavailable and the staff are rude and will say that the menu is “ indicative” only. Overall highly disappointing experience. Was told by staff to go and wash my hands and they were initially obviously reluctant to provide a finger bowl which later suddenly appeared! I would not recommend this place one bit!
Big liers. Long waiting time. Waited for 2 hours. At first we called them to book a table and to know if table is available or not, they said that maximum tables are available and we don't need to book a table but when we reached, we found that tables are booked and people are on line waiting for their turn. They lied to get customer. Big Liers.
Good food, quick service, located in secV saltlake. We visited for lunch. We ordered veg thali which has rice, luchi, sukto, cholar dal, 2 veg, chutney, rosogolla, mishti doi.then on ala carte I ordered mutton dukbunglow, and special ilish.food was tasty and fresh.
Went for team lunch. They could work on delivering food faster. Food quality and quantity was good. Wherever I have ordered bengali lunch it seems the order delivery time is a bit more.
One must not miss out eating Authentic Bengali cuisine at Bhojohori Manna when in Kolkata. They have Awesome taste and a huge variety of Veg & Non-Veg Options on the menu with prompt service. Overall loved the place and the service.
This is a restaurant where you can get authentic Bengali dishes. There are wide variety of fish dishes to satisfy your taste buds. Ambience is really good, you can visit the place with your family.
Food was average in comparison to the main branch. The regular bengali dishes turned out to be just normal without any special touch. The bhetki paturi had a strong smell of mustard in it. The moong dal with mache matha was over cooked, making the daal utmost soggy. Overall the experience was not upto the level of Bhojohori Manna
May be not a very special place for a bengali in Kolkata. But being sort of a non-resident bengali, I just enjoyed the choices, the preparations, the ingredients.
The place has a wide menu covering the Bengali cuisine quite well. The fish recipes as well as the vegetarian menus are quite varied. The mochar ghanta and the chital macher muitha were quite good. I also liked the pulao as well as the macher matha dia dal. It is a restaurant of amazing Bengali cuisine. It is must to visit if you are in Kolkata. Darun is the only Bengali word which I know and it can be used for sure to describe food in
Services and food is really good but too expensive don't know why. All homemade food you can get bhojo hori.not for west Bengal people. Becoz we can make it on home. Just for experience you can go.
I am not a Bengali, but this place we felt provided us authentic Bengali food. We took a thali and got to unleash different Bengali food names that we have always heard in movies. Though ambience is okay but food is very good at a moderate price
The Bhetki Paturi was delicious but was overpriced. When I orderedThe Alu Bhaja I thought I would be getting a small serving of potato fried sabji, but got a small bowl of potato sliced chips instead. Moreover, the quantity of rice in the bowl compared to the price was atrocious. However, the food tasted good, but have tasted better. Not sure about a revisit.
This bengali chain of restaurant offers sumptuous lunch and dinner options. Located at the prime location of salt lake sector 5. Thali option is also there. One should reach the restaurant by 3pm to get maximum available options. Price is a bit on higher side. If you are a true bengali foodie, you can expect to shell out at least rs 600 or 700 per person on an average. Ambience is ok, decent. Nothing extraordinary.
Perfect food destination for bengalees. One can enjoy a perfect bengali cuisine here. Situated in the centre of Sector V, one can easily find the location and step into it to enjoy a soothing ambience. You will be cordially welcomed and you can choose any type of food from their wide range of food options. You will surely be mesmerised with the taste of food. You will go with empty stomach and will come back with finger licking food experience and a smile on you face. Loved to be here.
For a true taste of drool-worthy authentic Bengali dishes, do drop by Bhojohori. Loved all the vegetarian dishes I picked, shukto, cholar dal, mochar ghonto.simple and wholesome.went down well with Aam panna in the summer heat. Everyone else enjoyed their daab chingri, fish fry, mutton. The baked rosogolla did not score as high as in Balaram Mullick. Service was good and quick.
Had roti subzi. Taste was good.the subzi cost me 90 RS.it was perfect for four rotis.it's for u to decide whether the price suits the quantity (see pic)
This was my second time. But this time experience was very bad. They didnot serve thali as they wanted to make some extra money. The excuse was tat the items were not available, even though i was fine wit it they didnot serve thali.
Very poor quality food, quantity less as per price quality of food is going down as per repo of returant. Puri and Siliguri franchise is good but salt lake food quality highly disappointed. Just previous day had lunch in the bhoj dalhousie that was ausumn. Highly dispointed with bhojohori manna
Quantity of food is really less as compared to the price they charge. Sweet dishes are overcharged. Authentic raj bhog what we know is not what you get here. Here it is only roshogolla in the name of raj bhog.
Quite delicious servings of traditional Bengali cuisine, decent in quantity. The price is a bit on the higher side but justified given the decor, service, the variety of food and most importantly, the taste. A must visit if you want to sample traditional Bengali food in the City of Joy.
Place for Bengali cuisine. Starting from posto to dhoka.from polao to kosha mutton.from paturi to mishti doi. A must visit for the bengalis as well others who wish to try Bengali cuisine. Though the quantity served is quite less in comparison to the pocket pinch, yet the quality of the food is worth the money.
