Big Bazaar / BB-KOLKATA-SALT LAKE CITY

Yesterday, I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this particular store. I was headed to visit my grandmother and decided to pick up some food items for her. To my surprise, nearly all the store aisles were devoid of staff. While I've noticed the store being short-staffed on previous visits, the situation I encountered yesterday was exceptionally dire.

Furthermore, when I sought assistance, the majority of the staff either brushed off my inquiries, claiming the desired product was unavailable, or begrudgingly pointed me to the appropriate aisle, their irritation evident. I also noticed that the female staff members were gathered in a huddle in front of the frozen food section, engrossed in an animated discussion.

We are frequent shoppers at Reliance Fresh, Jodhpur Park, where we have consistently received excellent customer service for our monthly grocery needs. I kindly request the management to investigate this matter and implement measures for improvement.

It's not at all replacement of earlier Big Bazaar, quality of product too doesn't support.

It's quite good actually! It's like a "better Spencer" really. There are 4 floors and I think they are expanding it even more. There's actually a good collection of garments as well. Reliance Smart is doing really well. Good for target-oriented shoppers.

Very good footfall but poor and less cash counters. Must increase number of cash desks and stop systems hanging most of the time.

This used to be a BigBazar store before takeover by Reliance.
One can find all household products, apparel & home furnishing products at reasonable price

It's reasonable, convenient and consumer friendly. They've got everything to meet your day to day needs.

It was a ok experience, faced some difficulties while shopping as the shopping baskets are damaged, may be few of them. The one I used was only left, so took it, it's handle have a kind of adjustment problem. Even while shopping inside the Bazar the gallery do not have sufficient space to move with your trolley shopping Basket. It have many payment counters but less employees working, never choose to visit if in short on time especially in evening.

A good market place with huge space, clothes, groceries and everything available with good offers. Clothes are a little costlier.

A colossal store with a huge collection of items, from fruits to frocks, displayed in four floors. But the establishment is being run by very inadequate staffs who were seen to be engaged among themselves. Another drawback is insufficient number of operational billing counters that caused long waiting time in queues.

Superb. Broad gateway. Exquisitely designed. Enormous space. Full of stocks. Every Wednesday at a very discounted price all merchandise are available. Lucky draws and discounted copons. ;

All time favorite place. Though now you do not get that stock of food their but this place is heart to me.

Combining all my experiences at this place I can say that this is a good place place for all kinds of shopping. You can also enjoy cinemas at "Carnival Cinemas" which is situated just beside it.

Big bazaar has closed their contract with Payback. So their payback cards are not accepted anymore. Currently, they are almost out of stock for most products. And low on products variety for a given item: for example - there was only one type of toothbrush (colgate). Many staff available. But foot fall has gone down a lot due to covid. I guess they might close shop soon if the low footfall continues.

Very bad experience. They won't let you to choose any product. It was like a market there. They keep on forcing to buy new products. I was not in a peaceful mind to buy some thing.

Good location, good stock, crowded most of the time. Price are not that low as it appears. Most of the time two or three essential item of your list will be out of stock or available only in large pack.

Worst is the billing and payment experience, in the busy evening hours it takes one hour or more as very few counters are working at a time and staffs are slow. Floor assistance nil.

Big Bazaar is good for casual pocket friendly shopping. This place attracts a lot of trendy crowd. The place is well maintained with a calm ambience.
One can find all kinds of shopping items like groceries, fruits & vegetables, kitchen appliances including household items & also clothing from reputable brands. The food court is good, offering fast food at a reasonable price. All the staffs & salesman have good behavior.
Car parking is available here.
The place is very conveniently located at Salt Lake City, Sector III.

Nice place. Lots of food is available around the mall which is pocket friendly and transport system is also very helpful.

Located in the center of a prime locality, the location is a big plus. The mall size is bigger than some of the other Big Bazar properties and they are well stocked. Price sensitivity is a USP for Big Bazar and this one is no exception. Even the food court on the third floor is relatively moderately priced compared to similar food courts elsewhere in the city.

Good place with good variety of range available there. Staffs are prone to sell more expensive parts

So a very busy place and a lively area. You get to have the good things of big bazaar, Carnival cinemas on the top floor.and a bunch of eateries nearby.a nice place to spend the eve with friends.

This Big Bazaar located at Sreebhumi, Kolkata is the biggest in the city. The place is located right off the VIP Road and is nearly 1.5 kilometers from Ultadanga
It is a decent place to shop as you get almost every basic thing here for prices which are relatively cheaper.
I am giving it 3 stars because of a few reasons:
A. You have to park your car at the basement of the hypermarket. The parking is a slight difficult as the approach to the basement is quite curvy. The entry and exit gate of the parking is same which requires strict vigilance from the security in-charge.
B. Age old system of billing which takes a lot of time. A lot of time here actually denotes high wastage of time.
C. The staff is not so friendly and you will 20-30% of them gossiping amongst themselves.
D. Lack of toilets inside the premises. The footfall is quite high as compared to the number of toilets to accommodate so many people.
E. Lack of premium brands and products.

This hypershop is Nice place for shopping where you can find all your necessary commodities under one roof

Good shop to buy something. A variety of collection is available here. All types of items can be bought from here like grocery items, garments, electronic, vegetables, toys, fashion items. They also provide free home delivery for grocery items customer buy. Also it has bar and restauran inside it।Many payment systems are accepted here like paytm, future pay, cash, debit/credit card etc. It is not in the busy market area.

Great big bazaar store, good discount on products as usual, in holidays there should be big queues at payment counters but there is enough stocks of goods

Big Bazar At Salt Lake Sector III. Good Deal For Grocery. Variety products.offers available.good ambiance. Large area shopping place. Beside of Big Bazar Multiplex cinema is also there.

Mega place for shopping here everything is available from clothing to kitchen, footwear daily use items. Places doesn't have car parking but you can park on road. This place you can find all the home items under one roof. It's was my second visit to city lots of fun.

Price that big bazar offer you after discount is almost the MRP of the products. Beweare of thes cheat retailer

This outlet is spacious and has a wide range of apparel for men women n children. There are 4 or 5 trial rooms for women and each provide you proper space to keep your stuffs and to try the dresses. The assisting employees cooperated. But I am not satisfied with the billing process. The people taking care of the billing desk are a bit lazy and unprofessional. My overall experience id good and I surely recommend people to give this outlet a chance to satiate your shopping thirst.

Though it's one house stop for household items, electronics, clothing etc.it is grossly mismanged. Sales boys/girls/staff are totally indifferent to customers. They need to be trained to be prompt and polite. Have seen them talking in groups, chatting and whiling away time even when customers are searching around for products. The billing desk is slow, inefficient and totally unprofessional. Whole sale experience goes for a toss when one has to wait for eons in queque at the inefficient bill desk.

It is an ideal place to meet all the house hold requirements under one roof against a very reasonable price. It remains full of crowd in week days and may experience some difficulty in selecting the goods and may have to wait in a long que for final disposal.

One stop for all your daily needs including luxurious items. Different times various offers & even in your wallet

So careless staffs! I don't know how the employees could be so carefully about the customer! We bought clothes of around 5K and went to billing section. We found only counter is open where 8 more counter is closed and they are quarrelling with each other! The line was so long, we requested to open few more counter, but they were least careful about us. You can't believe 70% customer along with us left the place leaving the things there.
If I can draw attention of BB higher official through this, it will be beneficial for lot of customer of BB.
