Bijaygarh bazar is a very good place or market for your daily needs but prices are higher than other market. More or less you can find anything in this market. Overall ok. Salers are very familiar.
Well, it lives up to its name - it is a bazaar, and a good one at that. Every kind of food item - starting from fish, meat to vegetables, you can get everything. They are moderately fresh, but hey, it's Kolkata you are talking about. Will add photos if i have it.
It's a regular market (veg, fish, meat, etc.) But the place is Merchandise. Outside the market, rows of different kind of shops are there. Auto-rickshaws are available always.
Fantastic market for vegetables, fish and meat. Comparatively all stuff available at a highly competitive price. Non veg products are absolutely fresh and they cut according to your taste.
From fresh vegetables, fish and meat to all kinds of utilities, this market is a buzzing area. There are shops of every kind that you might feel the need for. There are some pretty affordable food outlets and cafés as well but the bazaar environment remains. If you want to quickly pick up your meal or snack, there are many options. Although this isn't the place I would recommend for dining out, I can definitely recommend it for the fulfillment of daily requirements.
Very limited resources compared to other local markets. Some shop owners doesn't even know what 'oregano' or 'star anise' is. If you are shopping for conventional Bengali recipes, then this market is okay. Pricing is a little bit on the higher side compared to quality.
Inspire of placing at 5star place with all civil and political resources, it doesn't have a good hospital, a good school and good sporting facilities. Everyone here expects a Govt unconditional help.
Lots and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables available here at a very reasonable price.not only fruits and vegetables but also various other household items are easily available here.the place is easy to reach and also not so much congested like other bazaars.
This is a place near Jadavpur & adjuscent to Golf Green, Kolkata. It is heard that just after the partition of Bengal, refugees from East Pakistan came to India & this is known to be the first biggest refugee colony in India. However, now it is developed like any thing. There are plenty of shops and market places here. Lot of good & well furnished buildings are made & being built. Communication is also nice. Bus terminals is near to Bijoygarh. After all this is a nice place in Kolkata.
A market still developing. A lot of general & hardware stores. Road side vegetable markets (hat - in bengali) which operates in the morning and evenings. Good & affordable food joints are hard to find.
Nice place to get your regular bangali shopping. But there should be a way to restrict traffic during shopping hours Roads are too narrow and cars Rickshaws are on top of each other
There are total 3 markets near my home 1) baghajatin Bazar 2) bijoygarh Bazar 3) sreecolony bazaar.out of them bijoygarh is ranked 2nd if rated by keeping in mind the price and quality of products

This is a busy and popular Bazar of regular utilities like Vegetables, fish, chicken, fruits and groceries are sold here both in the morning and evening at a reasonable price. The market is weekly closed on Monday. Sellers sits in the open busy road so one needs to be careful while buying because there is every possibility of accident in any moment.
A very nice bazar with mix of goods availability. Surroundings have many shops for different variety of goods/services which fulfill your needs to a good extent.
People's of bijoygarh 70% are refugee (Bangladeshi) They are hard worker.all people are maximum educated. Beautiful neture of bengali cultural function organized.they also like that food habits vegetable & non vegetable item.every family's member are enjoy direct politics & club cultural competition between ward to ward.over all tention free life for outhers residential 30% enjoying. Importent fact in bijoygarh Modern flat culture like that changing test of life
This is a busy and popular Bazar of regular utilities. Vegetables, fruits, fish, meat and groceries are sold here both in the morning and evening. The local residents are the chief purchasers. The cost of the items sold here are higher than many other nearby markets selling similar goods. You get fresh items. It's not a big Bazar and hence many vendors lay their goods by the roadside on the adjoining narrow busy road. These roadside vendors usually possess and sell items that are more fresh than the main market. The variety of vegetables, fishes, meats and groceries are however limited. Convenience wise, this is certainly a boon for the local residents.
