We just finished our stay here. The property is spacious and very clean. We stayed at their deluxe room. The room and the bathroom was also big and very clean. All the staffs are extremely polite and hospitable. The foods are also quite good taste, quantity and variety wise.
Manager Anup sir is very courteous and helpful. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely recommend.

Nice place for couple of days. Quite organied and professionals runs this business. You will enjoy here.

Overall 5 out of 5 in every aspects. From the day of booking Bisesh was in contact on regular basis till the time we left. Staffs are quite well equipped and helpful always. Every hour asked for tea also for any other problems. Really never seen a Homestay like this, in one word - it's a home away from home. Our first stay was really really enjoyable. Overall rating is 5 out of 5. While leaving got a special treatment of their rituals which is simple unimaginable.

The hospitality will touch your heart. The food is good. Ambience will give you the ultimate experience of Offside Darjeeling. Have facilities for bonfire, barbecue and tea (any time). Sanitation is fantastic. Have a reading room. They have open Karaoke facilities.

The best Homestay ever visited - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bisesh Homestay in Sittong for a relaxing vacation, and I must say that I was blown away by the incredible hospitality and warm, friendly nature of the hosts. The homestay was located in a picturesque mountain village, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views of the valley.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the hosts. They showed me around the property, which was beautifully maintained and had a cozy, rustic charm. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay, including clean bedding, towels, hot water and toiletries

The hosts went out of their way to make me feel at home, offering delicious homemade meals made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. They also arranged bonfires and musical performances in the evening in which all the guests participated.

What really set this homestay apart, however, was the genuine warmth and hospitality of the hosts. They took the time to get to know me, asking about my interests and sharing stories of their own lives and experiences. They were always available to answer questions or offer advice, but never intrusive or overbearing.

Overall, I cannot recommend this homestay highly enough. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, and the hosts truly went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing mountain getaway with incredible hospitality and friendly hosts, this homestay is definitely the place to be.

The Best homestay I have ever been. Great views albeit depends on the mood of weather, cozy rooms provided with blankets, wardrobe, water heater and shoe racks. Wash rooms are bit damp but have geyser, western toilets and floor mats. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with evening snacks and unlimited tea.

TV - only in restaurant, not in rooms
Kids - kid friendly wth provision for customised food on request
Overall a great stay, even if there is any shortcomings, they make it up with their hospitality.

First thing I would like to clear about this property is that, even after staying here for 2 nights I don't know why it's called as "Humro Home Bisesh Homestay" and not just "Bisesh Homestay"!
Next about the property, it's an all-round wonderful experience. I won't highlight common aspects, instead would mention about few of its specialities.
1) 24x7 running water with fully functional geyser.
2) Nice and very clean bathrooms
3) Facility for bonfire, BBQ are there but are chargeable. Owner Mr. Bisesh Rai himself is very fond of music and arranged a karoke box for us in the night.
4) Food tasted good but not much of choice though. It's a buffet meal system where one has to go to the dining hall for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had chicken, fish and eggs.
5) Location and scenic beauty is the main USP of this property. One can stay here and enjoy the sprawling green hills with glimpses of mighty Kanchenjunga ranges just from the cottage windows.
6) Local site seeing is arranged by them on request and often costs cheaper than arranged by any agents from Kolkata or Siliguri.

Last suggestion, book your stay directly with the property so that you can have choice of your rooms. They have now total 8 cottages and some deluxe rooms with views of hills from all rooms. 2 more cottages are under construction which, once completed, will surely be the hotspot for the vistors as those rooms offer unforgettable view of bounties of nature with Kangchenjunga snaps from room.

Undoubtedly the best hotel of Sittong. Amicable hospitality of all the staff in general and Mr. Amit Rai, Manager and Hridesh in particular. Excellent ambiance. Distance from NJP and Kalimpong is 54 km, Darjeeling 34km, Kurseong 24km.

The environment was more than good and also the rooms. The behaviour was also very good. Mainly we enjoyed the evening time snacks and excellent songs sang by them.

Excellent property at Sittong. Rooms are cozy, food is delicious and served hot. The people who works at the homestay are very helpful and courteous. On a clear day one can see Kanchenjunga from the homestay terrace.
