The staffs are good too. On top of it, they have a decent canteen where you get basic level of Indian break fast at a very reasonable price. Recommended.

The Calcutta Sports Association is the swimming pool situated adjacent to the Rabindra Sarobar also known as Dhakuria Lake, near Golpark and is one of the mostly proffered swimming pool of kolkata by of the residents of the south Kolkata.  This swimming club of Kolkata offers swimming and water polo coaching within which the waterpolo squad is nurtured by coach in order to make the team enable to compete in several district and state level waterpolo championship. This swimming Institution also provides swimming classes for the kids under the coaching term of novice training. For the swimming training of the novice and the beginners, there is a separate swimming pool here at The Calcutta Sports Association having lesser length and depth in comparison to the main swimming pool which is a pool of standard length of 50 meters and is mainly available for the amateur swimmers and the advanced swimmers.
There are two pool options for novice kids, Filter water and KMC (Kolkata Municipal Corporation) water. Definitely the filter water section is better and also its charge is high than KMC water. I think the filter water is good for novice kids.
Novice training for kids runs from April to September each area. Each training period is for 40 minutes everyday, except Thursday.
If you are decided to register your kid's name here, bring documents of his/her and register on spot.

The water in the pool is not cleaned regularly and the environment of the club is not up to the mark

I started quire unwillingly here and my fears are quite right, things arnt very clean, but on positive side the trainers are good, but one horrible thing about this place is that if you dont bring card you are not allowed at all, which they are very strict about, but they dont have a solution for the patron, on asking they say give us more money and we will issue another card and then you can go in, i find it so criminally offending, coz for patron if they forget they must have a solution, people specially mothers come with their little kids who are simply crazy about swimming, and to treat people like this is completely unacceptable and undignified

Swimming classes usually start from March 15th and ends on September 15th.
Classes starts from 6: 00 am in the morning, till 10: 00 am with duration of each class 40 min. Then again on evening it starts from 4: 00 pm to 8: 00 pm, duration 40 min. There is separate area for boys and girls, and anyone can take admission irrespective of their age.
Location is Rabindra sarovar, take left from golpark after ramkrishna mission.
Membership charges starts from 2000 - 10000 for the whole season.

My son is learning swimming since 5 months but still not able to learn. My son is 5 years old. My wife says some trainers don't pay attention.

Bad very low maintenance and high price every year dirty toilet.very unhygienic.very very bad.they take money and trainer will also claim money from the new comers if u don't give they will theft your things from your bag while u r swimming now a days making another drama once rain strat and little thunder they will stop swimming but the after 10 min if the rain and thunder stop they will not start the swimming where the time is on for the batch.dont take admission they bluff a lot.even in the women side they stolen the inner garments.

Well connected place. Beautiful swimming pools and efficient trainers for several groups. From any age a person can learn swimming from this centre.

I am a swimmer of YMCA club. Joined here for practice. I have seen all trainer's they are really good. Very confident, consistent and had lot of patience. People should join here without any doubt
