Carnival Cinemas

One of the better cinema halls in Durgapur but not the best. Now this place isn't well maintained like before. Try to book tickets at SVF Cinemas or at Bioscope before coming to this place.

The charm of this place is no more. It's left with all the not so well maintained screens. Last i watched guardians of the galaxy vol. 3 in 3d. The screen was not clean. Dirt has build up over the screens

One of the few good theaters in the region. Though you cannot expect thorough professional staffs, yet they aren't that bad.

The cinema hall is clean, clear.

The booking counter is ground floor and third floor.
The movie prize rate is very reasonable under 100/-.
Staff behaviour is good.

Show time was at 3: 30pm they allowed to enter into the screen at 3: 33pm.

The worst possible management, running this theatre! The woman sitting at the ticket counter doesn't even know how to talk to customers. When you are denying a customer ticket because you do not have enough tickets booked for that show, the least you can do is be a little apologetic about it rather than shout at the customer for not knowing about it.

Best cinema hall of durgapur with 3 running screen. As it present in hot location people can reach here easily by bus, auto, toto. Not good for 3D screening. Sometime interval duration is too long because of selling popcorns/cold drinks/coffee.

Always been a great place for students. Food stalls, big bazaar and movie makes the perfect combination for us. Theatre is nice and tidy and the seats have good leg space. The sound experience is good but 3d quality is little bit dull but it's okay.

It was good time with my family in carnival cinemas. But the bathroom was not fresh smale very dirty.

Better than Bioscope as the screen is a bit brighter. I purchased tickets online via BookMyShow along with a combo food+beverages pack for maximum savings. A good experience although the staff did refuse to provide extra tissue papers: P

Definitely need to change the seats of the upper tier price seats. And this ain't any PVR so keep the prices down. A little more cleanliness and maintenance required.

Screen a little dirty, food price high and most of the audience are hooligans who shout and whistles when a movie is playing. If u want to watch a movie in peace and silence then don't visit this thetre during peak times.

Good place for 2D film. Also available for 3D but glasses is not so good. May be you have face problem if u have low eye sight.

Good place to visit. Cleaning is good. Chairs are comfortable, there are nice leg gaps. Screen size is big, picture and sound quality is awesome. Staff behaviour is good, specially a man in the counter, wearing glasses, is so nice, every time he talks very politely. But some times show is not started in time, due to delay cleaning process, inside the theater. And sometimes so many add film before started the movie or in the interval time.

সিনেমা দেখে খুব মজা। তবে এখানে অনলাইনের অর্ডার করা পপকর্ন বা অন্য খাবার পেতে (book my show এর মাধ্যমে) খুবই অসুবিধা হয়। এব‍্যাপারে সাবধান। আর সিনেমা চলাকালীন পপকর্ন বিক্রি রীতিমতো অস্বস্থিকর!

A well decent cinema hall in durgapur city center.
It has got 3 screens.
Only 2nd and 3rd screen offers 3d view and the 1st screen is 2d only.
The snacks available here is a bit costly.
The condition of the hall is decent.
Sound quality is preety good and picture quality is also appreciable.
Must have a good time here with family or alone.
Easily visible from the road.

Very good service and behaviour of the employees. They are very cooperating. Moreover, 3D movie is realistic.

Staff like popcorn seller or chips seller are bad and bloody behavior. I think they are very rich and didnt want to sell anything to coustomers

Went to see Avengers: Endgame. With a movie like that, the hall hardly matters. Nevertheless, the hall is quite OK. Screen isn't as big as IMAX (you don't pay that much either) and food is just about like any other place. I had the last row and seats didn't recline at all. Don't know if the issue is specific to that row

It's a great place for middle range movies. I won't say it's cheap place, but it's a great place. Just one thing is that most middle-class people can't afford the foods there, and as they don't allow any external food, go there in full tummy.

Sound system is good and screen is also too good but they show many adds before starting the movie and also during interval time
