Hotel is very good hotel, we stayed for five nights four days, it is right in front of darjeeling mall road, room service and food quality is very good and hotel staff is very good and they always respect everyone.
Not provided dental kit and slippers too. On the 2nd day there was no housekeeping for cleaning the room after requesting 2 times then only it was done by them. In such a cold place they are not providing hot water all the time. No TV channels are available The handle of the tap was broken. We have already informed them on the first day but it was not fixed. But the location is good 5-10mim walking distance from mall
We stayed there for 3 nights in two superior rooms and one classic room. The overall experience was good but the taste of the food was not as we expected and they over charged. Rooms and toilets were cleaned and serviced at times. All the staff were very kind and hospitable and dutiful. The location is good, near to the Mall.
There is urgent need to improve service (room and restourant). Experienced unprofessional service during the stay. Bath towels are very old and need immediate replacement.the road side room on 1st floor is noisy and not suitable for vacation. It feels that hotel business is secondary and tour and travel business is primary.
The hotel is very old and a vintage one, but be ready as none of the rooms will have a mountain view, it's just the road and roofs of other buildings, the plus point is it's very much near the mall road. They literally tricked us with the rooms, even though we had made advance payment.
We were a group of 35 family members, we stayed for 3 days. Rooms were spacious, clean and maintained. May just need to retire some of torn bedsheets. Food served was tasty and hygienic. The staff is very courteous, hardworking and responsive. Overall, they made sure to give us a comfortable stay and memorising experience. Bigshout out to team of young waiters and pianist in restaurant. Will visit again.
Went during the summers (considered as an off-season) and found the service to be lacking. The staff seemed to be new and untrained. Overall a decent experience and a good location close to mall road, the service might be better during the winters.
Dont ever book this hotel! Executive rooms with balcony view—one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed! Charging Rs 10000 for that room! The balcony is the most funniest! Pics r attached for reference. Dingy rooms with average bathrooms Some rooms are not provided with dental kit, some without water. No slippers were provided. Room no 310 had the bathroom’s exhaust inside the room. The bathroom’s roof had fungus growing. Towels were dirty and old! Breakfast very average and super slow. It was a complete waste of money The staff is not at all polished.
I love this resort. Rooms are awesome. Wooden floor will give you a heritage feeling. Fire place is available in club rooms. We stayed for 4 nights in this resort and had a great experience. Staffs are very helpful they have arranged ours full trip in Darjeeling. Buffet breakfast and dinner are delicious. Children's play area also nice for kids. Thank you for making our trip so special.
Very nice property. Near to Mall Road. Staffs are very helpful. Well mentioned. Food is very testy an delicious. All modern aminities are available in the room. Room size is very big. Bathroom is very clean and running hot water also available.
So we stayed at Central Heritage for 3 nights and i am very impressed from there room quality and hospitality. We booked a club room believe me the room is awesome and there is also a good view of both (mountain & city). Rooms are equipped with all required thing's like room heater, bed warmer, electric kettle and all time hot running water. And also there complementary breakfast and food is very delicious. I like very much and defiantly wish to come back again.
It was ok sort. The amount they charge for the rooms are not up to that. There was no water in the toilet early morning. Though they said some one kept the tap open and later water was filled again. The under ground level rooms were too claustrophobic. Food was not at par with the price.
Stayed there for three days with my family in room no. 's 111 and 112. The stay was great and we all loved it! Front desk staff was extremely cordial, specially Promila. Even the subordinate staffs like the plumber, electrician and door guard were very cordial and we'll mannered. However, the rooms seemed to be overly priced. And the complementary breakfast was not as expected. Parking space also needs to be remodelled. All else is extremely good with Keventers, Glenarys and Chowrasta just a few steps away from the hotel. Hope to stay there again next year or so!

Please never book this hotel. This is possibly the worst property in the whole of Darjeeling. Terrible service. To highlight few points - They do not even provide room slippers during Dec-January, delayed check ins, extreme poor service. They change your rooms in the middle of the stay owing to the mismanagement of the staff. It is very poorly managed. I would request platforms like goibibo, yatra, booking.con, trivago to pleasee delist this property. Worst experience in Darjeeling even after paying exhorbitant charges for a room Thanks to Central heritage hotel.
I stayed in the club room for 3 nights. The room was big and cozy as you expect from a club room. The bathroom was not up to the mark. I expected it to be a bit larger and cleaner. My biggest issue with the hotel is their wifi connectivity which was practically non-existent during my stay. The hotel authority should really work on their internet connectivity. There is no point staying in a big cozy room without the internet for 3 days.
Not really well maintained. No central heating provided. Room heaters not fully functional. Numerous power cuts. Water supply not reliable, hot water not available in all rooms. Room service is quite good. None of the rooms has any view through windows. Location of hotel is good, right behind Glenarys and 2 minute walk from the mall.
We have booked this resort in February 2019 n cancelled the booking before 1mnth of the booking date, due to the pandemic.but till date they have not refunded the amount as per their hotel policy.very bad management by the staff.no one answers ur calls or messages. I have even complained in the consumer forum.
This is a great place to stay in for a short time. However, the room had no ac, no heater, no fan, nothing. Only windows, which we didn't open since there would be insects coming in. Free WiFi is good and hot water is not easy to get.
Horribly ill maintained heritage property. Dont spend anything more than 3500 per night. Photos on travel site are doctored to look good. Its shabby n creepy place.
Untidy room, dirty towels, stinking washroom, stained kettle and many more. Our experience was very bad at the hotel. The receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. They gave us the worst room available though we pre booked it. Whole night we were unable to sleep as there was so much noise outside our room in the hotel. We complained several times about all this but no one was bothered. After spending two nights were shiftes to a nice room, thanks to the management. But unfortunately it was our last day. The only thing which was good was breakfast in the restaurant. I doubt how this place was a part of fortune group. I have many good memories and experience with fortune Jaipur and Tirupati. Guys plz ask them at the time of booking about the room, then decide to pay. We always repent for our hard earned money which got wasted.
It's located in mall road of Darjeeling and near by islamia restaurant. The price is not much high. The quality of room is superb. The stuff behaviour was good. You cam find hot water in shower. And view from the hotel was jus amazing. You can not thought how much you can enjoy your time there. When i was darjeeling i stayed three Nights. I felt so comfortable there. And you can a car from there to visit tigher hill rock garden extra. And you can also eat from their restaurant. I would definitely recomond you if you ever visit Darjeeling Don't miss the opportunity to stay there.
Only name is big, rest had become heritage for the management. Didn't like the way they maintained it. Wouldn't be my choice for stay, the next time i am in town
Pathetic service horrible rooms when you see the hotel online its smthing else and what you get is just not acceptable and the hotel has a standard response to everything
Rooms not maintained, intercom not working, heater not working, TV not working, no hot water in the tap, toilet clogged, drainage choked up. Phew. Overall a very bad experience
Liked: The interior decor is imperial style, polite gurkha staff, nice complimentary breakfast and welcome drink. Didn't like: the fact I had get staff to get hot water and at 9am there was no water in taps. Didn't pay Rs. 3100/night for this inconvenience!
The rooms are small. It isn't noise proof. The beddings are poor. But the best is food. Especially the spread for breakfast is good and the view one gets of Mt Kunjenjunga from the dining place is breathtaking
Too old and not well maintained Basically you don't get the value for the which you have paid money. Avoid having breakfast if you have to stay here. Only one thing is good that it is located in heart of the town but i believe in the same rates you can get better hotel near by
A heritage resort. Rooms are spacious, position of the hotel is very good, back side of Glenary's. 2-5 mins walking distance from Mall. Kids Zone, Gym, library is available. As the property is heritage property it needs more maintenance. Quality of food is average and too much costly. Any item of chicken is starting from Rs. 350 and Mutton starting from Rs. 400. Egg Curry Rs. 285. Average quality breakfast. No Kunchanjungha view. Overall good hotel to stay.
It's middle of the town, near mall road and other shopping places. Don't expect any view from the hotel rooms. It's an old heritage building, with zero maintenance.
Very shabby. Housekeeping is very poor. Soiled sheets with stain marks and hair on bed covers. Felt so ickky i couldn't sleep and checked out immediately next morning. Sterling is a much better option for a little more.

Very bad experience with no Wi-Fi network in three different nights, no hot water (being geser problem for one night), what pictures we are seeing that is from recepten. Main hotel is just opposite from reception. We had to wait more than 2 hours to get into our booking rooms for the shake of ready of the room. Washroom is average. Manager is a dumb person so that no solution is available. I really suffer for net and wi-fi issue.
Rooms are not up to the mark. Food is not that good as compared to the price they are charging. View from the rooms is only cityscape. Overall experience is good not excellent.
