If you don't use railway over bridge for crossing the railway track the RPF will charge penalty.

Chandannagar station is very clean and Well maintained There are also so many shops and stalls. Auto stands are also there.

I love Chandannagar. It's township, people and the rail station.
For space shortage, up and down platforms are a little apart. Those two are connected with a pretty old, nice looking overbridge.
Overall, it's Beautiful.

Beautiful & unique railway station of Hoogly, West Bengal, India. This is a very important station of the city of love Chandannagar. This railway station situated betweeen Hoogly railway station and Bhadreshwarer railway station. Nearest Junctions are Bandel railway Station (Junction) and Sheoraphuly Railway Station (Junction). This station got too much crowded during Chandannagar Jagadhatttri Pujo or Puja. Here, Chandannagar Stand Road is one of the most popular place of the city, which is a riverside road. The station contains 3 platforms and 3 railway tracks.

It's a very big railway station. Clean and well maintained station. Wheelchair is not accessible. Proper seating arrangement is there with adequate ceiling fans.

A good peaceful and clean station with adequate facility of water and toilets. The platforms are wide enough. Some important express trains also, apart from all locals, stop here. Well connected rickshaw and toto facilities are also present outside the station. The only bottleneck is narrow streets outside the station and narrow merger of streets which cause almost stampede like situation every year during the Jagadhatri puja rush.

Chandannagar is a subdivisional town in the district of Hooghly. The town is clean and jam free and so is it's railway station i.e. Chandannagar Railway Station (CGR). It is on the Howrah Burdwan Mains Division. Distance between Chandannagar and Howrah (HWH) is 32 km and Sheoraphuli (SHE) and Chandannagar is just 10 km.

A historical place, Well communicated & peaceful city, well known for it's Light works and the great festival i.e Jagaddhatri puja & procession.

Platforms are well maintained. Facilities other than eatery are available. Surrounding areas outside are completely jumbled up.

Chandannagar is like my 2nd home because I've done my schooling from there! The station has really comfortable waiting room systems, you just have to show the tickets to the station master and you will get the keys of the waiting room!

Station is well maintained with all the required amenities. Both up and down platform has ticket counters. Station Manager and other staffs are reputed and professional people. For galloping trains, manual announcement is done to inform the people that it is a galloping train in addition to the computerised announcement.

Chandannagar Railway station is a important railway station also, and many mail and express trains also have a stoppage here.

It's in the main line between howrah and burdwan. If you come in the last train at night, you will get local vehicles like rickshaw, toto etc.

This is a station which I can say heaven in one word. Ha ha, it is actually nearest railway station to my house. No doubt, station is maintained well, clean and neat. Availability of trains are frequent.

In english it is pronounced as Chandannagar but the station written as Chandan nagar. There are three platforms in the station. Mainly the down train towards howrah arrived in platform no-1. Up trains from howrah to different destination such as bandel, katwa, pandua, burdwan arrived in platform no-2 or platform no- 3. Some down trains passes through platform no-2 also. Main entrance of the station is from the east side. There is also Auto stand situated.

Well known station for all daily passengers because in main line of most of the express trains and all local and galloping local trains stops here.

This station's length is so long. But not for 18 coached trains. Its OK for 13-15 coached trains.

It's a suburban railway station. Many trains stops here. Has Rest rooms. The station is clean. Has foot overbridge. But the length of the station is not enough for 18 coaches trains. For example, last 3 coaches of Doon Express stands out side of platform.

This is a railway station between Howrah and Barddhaman. This station is near Bandel junction. This station is very popular for those people who loves to visit this place for the popular Jagatdhatri Pujo (which is famous for it's lighting) and for those couple who are love to spend time with each other in a place (KMDA park, Wanderland park) and also for those people who loves to spend some time in the river bank (গঙ্গা র ঘাট- "Srtand-road Ghat").

ChandanNagar is Beautiful place with nice railway station. Chandanagar is a last French colony fully established in 1668 by taking the permission of Ismael Khan the present Nawab at the time of West Bengal. It is on main line from Howrah to Bardhaman.

One of the main station in the Burdwan Howrah main line. Daily hundreds of people travel via this station. Government should make this station more beautiful and clean. It should be a pride for the city as jagadhatri Puja in Chandannagar is.
