North Indian & Chinese barbecue & buffet meals offered in a casual, family-friendly setting. I went there with my friends last year. The ambience was amazing. The staffs were well behaved. They served fresh food and their service was amazing. They have a good sense of a time management. Owner's daughter asked ourself for the review (regarding ambience, service and food quality). The food quality was really great. The complimentary drink (lime soda, blue laggon) were also good.

Very very bad way of talking. I made a call at Charcoal Grill to ask about the order I placed from Swiggy and the way the guy who picked up the call and was absolutely horrible. I understood that Swiggy did not provide a delivery partner yet but there is a way of talking to people that are ordering for you guys. Free may tho nhi le rhe hai na kuch, what is this way of saying that "delivery partner aayega tbhi order dengye na bhai". Am I your friend that you are talking to me like this. Very very poor behavior for your side.

This is one of the best and affordable family Restudent situated in park circus area, Kolkata. The food and beverage ar very good and the atmosphere is very good. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming too.

Fantastic. Nothing modern about it, but serves good food. The floor is big spacious, but lights and decor is rather oldish.

Its good. Prawns are good, fish preparations are ok. Desrt section is the best mutton kababs are awsm. No moctails for buffet. Its 2700/- for 3 head buffet. Fresh lime soda is also good.

After a long long time I found a good buffet restaurant in Kolkata. Starters were too much good. Here I want to mention specifically the mutton kebab and chilli chicken (starter). At least I never had such kind of chilli chicken earlier. I'm unable to give the restaurant 5 stars because the dishes in desert counter remains unavailable most of the time.

Preferably don't go for ala'carte, the service is not upto the mark. The junior staff can't distinguish dish types, and serve starters and main course at the same.

Going to this restaurant cum bar since last 18 years or more. Very courteous well mannered staff. Food quality and quantity very much good. Family place.

Poor Quality food. Bad customer service.it is costly and not worth the money. Very difficult to park your vehicle, instead one can move to Arsalan, which is nearby and experience fine dining. I also doubt whether food is halaal since it is owned by Punjabi.

Run by the lovely Madan family, Charcoal Grill remains a food.lovers paradise. It's an iconic.place and continues to maintain their fantastic food quality. They had opened a table top grill section also recently.

The buffet costed around Rs. 700 and it includes a complimentary soft-drink, a wide range of starters, tasty main course and a range of desserts.

We went for a family lunch on Saturday, 22nd Dec.
My brother and sister in law were here on a short vacation and they had made an online booking. The lady at the desk was not able to find the relevant reservations, but quickly escorted us upstairs to the buffet section.
It is a spacious room and the tables were neatly laid. We were the only guests it seemed!
The starters arrived quite promptly and arranged on the mini tandoors in the middle of every table-a very innovative touch! There was a variety of non veg kebabs on offer, the chicken reshmi was quite tasty although the fish was bland. The prawns were really small and the mutton sheekh kebab was spicy. The veg items were good-paneer, potatoes mushroom and pineapple, all on skewers!
By this time the buffet spread was on the table. We had to ask for the soup as the cauldron was empty! The veg items were all good - fried rice, noodles au gratin, but the non veg ones did not look half as appealing! The portions on offer were really small and appeared like left overs from previous days, like there were 8 pieces of mutton in the rogan josh! The rotis were not as soft as they should be but the kulcha was!
The best part of the meal was reserved for the last though! The dessert section was absolutely delectable! They brought in a ginger bread house to add to the festive spirit! Every pastry and cheesecake and tart was delicious! The gajar halwa was also good! The ice cream counter had only the regular flavours but the embellishments were nice!
The staff was friendly and helpful and the service prompt!
It was a nice experience overall and I would definitely recommend it. However, the location is a bit of a put off and the exterior of the building is not flattering at all!
Anyway, at the end of the day, good value for money!

This restaurant is located near Park Circus Seven Point Crossing and Maa Flyover. They serve Chinese and North Indian cuisine. Recently I had tried their lunch buffet, which is according to me one of the best buffet in Kolkata at that price range. Food quality and specifically taste are really appreciable. Starters, main course and desserts all three sections are equally drooling.

It was an memorable buffet experience at Charcoal Grill. If you are food lover and you are searching for new tastes in Kolkata then here's the one.
Only one thing I have missed is the seafood section over there. Though they have provided quality services on the rest available items, I would like to have the seafood on my next visit.
