The Sambhar was completely filled with WATER. Sambhar is my favourite in South Indian cuisine. In fact, like always, I ordered extra Sambhar.
Extremely dissappointed!

Dhania dosa was amazing.
Rava dosa was crispy and perfect.
Just visit the place, the owner herself is so polite and humble. Place is really affordable and if you are south Indian food lover, don't miss this place.

This place is very special for south india dishfood is very delicious i must recommend it to everyone.

Great place for South as well as North indian food. It's a train themed restaurant with space for 20-30 people. Family restaurant with loads of option in menu. Only pure vegetarian food available but with huge variety and twists (south indian food in North indian style as well). The doodh cola beverage is a must try.

Good food, nice place, just love the place but most of the people like serving staff, owners (except one), etc don't wear mask unlike many other restaurants nearby.

Overpriced; dosa is not worth the amount charged. Beverages are charged at an extra amount than the MRP.
Does not live up to it's reputation.

Amazing south indian authentic food in Bangur. Hats off the perfect crisp rava onion Dosa served so very quickly. Kudos for working so so diligently in testing times of the Pandemic with all precautions and hygiene. Grateful for the amazing assortment on the menu and availability so so many items to select from. All the best for more and more success ahead.

Price is exorbitant. Though the interiors have been designed in sync with the overall theme - as the name suggests, I think space for a wash basin needs to be accommodated outside the rest room.

Good place for Family outings.servers and owners are real nice.

Good food. Variety of Dosas available. Cheese bust dosa is amazing. Dosa Waffle is a must try there!

I removed one star, cause previously it was a perfect place for cheese dosa with chutney, but sad to say now the taste of dose somehow missing, they not even gave 2chutney, u have to ask by urself, masala taste jst changed, their masala mixer was too good previously but now it's jst a aloo sabji nothing else. I used to craving to have this dosa with masala, now I don't refer anyone also I won't go

Pretty expensive, chowmein wasn't that great but I do recommend the dhosa here, they were dope!

Authentic south indian flavours with appropriate pricing and a family restaurant. Staff is well behaved and quick. Taste and variety of food is amazing. It also serves north indian meals and drinks are bit pricey

It is a good restaurant but a bit costly. If you compare the cost with south indian restaurants it is in higher end. Also Zomato cost for same item is less.

Today I ordered Rava dosa from Swiggy which I seemed was dipped in oil. Sambhar was way too spicy without vegetables. Very poor quality food they are serving and price is way too high. I would recommend the owner to try Anand's south Indian. Much better and delicious and the price is also cheap.

I had ordered 2 masala dosas and 1 cheese dosa
Masala was stale.not eatable
Dosa was rubbery as if made of maida
Sambar was just water and nothing else
I would say the quality of the food was very bad

I have tried only chhole bature.and must say it was really good.
Clean restaurant and staff behavior is really good. Most important thing that I noticed was, they maintain the cleanliness and sanitization of the tables. I would like to visit this place again.

Worst service for north Indian if u want to do dinner at 8 kindly then visit at store at 6 because automatically they will make u seat for 2hr without food that yes food is getting ready ready nd all so service is soo delay that i won't come next time nd i order through zomato as well same situation i order at 6.43 nd i received the parcel at 8.39.just think delivery boy ka itna time waste they hardly earn 40 for that order nd agr sai time se ye product dhe delivery boy ko tho unka 2hr jo waste hua usme vo at least 100 kama leta. They don't value customer time

Decent restaurant. Good to go with family.
Their menu consist of south and north Indian foods. Serving of dosas are bit unique as they give the masala (if any) separately, not inside the dosa.
P. S: Podi dosas are bit overrated though.

Delicious South Indian Food. Reasonably quick service. The owner personally invests time visiting every table with her gleaming smile and making sure every customer has a smooth experience.

The staffs of Chennai Express have no etiquettes especially the lady who sits there at reception. Despite of delivering the wrong order they were arguing that we've received the right one and at the same time claiming that in pressure we compromise with the food we deliver!
Extremely poor service.

It is one of the theme restaurant in bangur area and one of the best south indian restaurant in this area. They have delivery services. The decoration of the restaurant is made to look like a train. The ambience is very good. Variety of Veg Options, Comfortable Seating Area, Relaxed Atmosphere, proper hygiene. You will love to dine here.
Some of the popular dishes are Cheese Uttapam, Dahi Vada, Masala Dosa, Sambar Vada.

I went there last night & I m very disappointed I ordered dosa & uttappam both are very bad.filter coffee was like cold water plz do not go there

Nice authentic south-Indian food, well suited for friends meeting in cosy separate areas. Staff are helpful and courteous. Ambience is nicely done.

The food quality was just mind blowing. Had a enjoyful time there. I would recemmond everyone to have a meal there.

A Perfect South Indian Place in town and specially in bangur area.
The behaviors of the owner is very nice l, he personally attends the guests and counter the issue in every possible manner.

Only dosa's and idli's are there with few basic drinks. Expected it to have Chennai thalis as well. Very basic with higher price tag than regular South Indian restaurants.

I took a parcel of 2 masala dosa and 1 lemon rice.
1. The quantity of lemon rice is too very less, a small kid eats more than the given quantity, price is too high.
2. The masala in masala dosa was good, chutny was good too.
3. Now, the main thing i want to share is the taste of lemon rice and sambar is no where near to authantic/original what we get in south. It was not lemon rice for sure.
4. I took parcel so i am not commenting on the service or staff behavior part.
5. All in all not authantic south indian and prices are too high all over the menu, e.g. 2 idlis INR 60.6.just 1 suggestion, if you really have a south indian chef, pls dont change the taste of things to match bengail taste buds, like if i open a bengali restaurant in south india, i will not add tamarind and curry leaves in bengali dishes, i hope u get my point.
