For so many years, i am visiting your place i love the food, but today when i was paying for my lunch via online payment the service lady directly asked for 50rs tips and asked us to include it with our payment.i have never seen ever in any eatery that the service person directly asking for 50 rs tips and asked us to include it with the bill

One of the best places to visit if you crave a proper American cuisine. Ranging from the juicy lamb burgers to the delicious mocktails and ribs, the experience is one of a kind. Although the Acropolis outlet is preferred by me for its atmosphere, this outlet was good too

Coming for the 35th time. Usually I visit the QUEST Mall one but this was equally amazing. No compromise on quality. Had my favourite chicken and steak fajita. Just superb.

Subject: Unpleasant Experience at Chili's South City Mall - Grievance Against Manager

Dear Chili's Management Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience my friend and I had at Chili's South City Mall on 6th November 2023, around 630pm. Unfortunately, the incident involving the manager, Mr. Sujoy Ghosh, has compelled me to bring this matter to your attention.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were lured in by the enticing 99rs offer, only to discover after being seated that the beer variety within this offer was unavailable. This miscommunication, which should have been clarified at the reception desk, set the tone for a disappointing visit.

Subsequently, we approached Mr. Ghosh, requesting an adjustment of 200rs to our bill due to the inconvenience caused by the unavailability of the specified beer variety. Despite our reasonable request, Mr. Ghosh declined to make any adjustment and instead offered a complimentary food item. However, the situation escalated further when the promised complimentary dish was changed to sautéed veggies, and later a dish with chicken, not meeting the promised value.

To make matters worse, upon receiving the bill, the complimentary item was added, leading to further dissatisfaction. Mr. Ghosh's reluctance to rectify the situation, coupled with contradictory promises and arguments, left us dismayed.

As regular patrons of Chili's, frequenting the South City Mall branch at least once or twice a month, it is disheartening to encounter such an unsatisfactory experience, especially over a modest adjustment of 200rs. We believe that a manager should possess effective customer management skills to ensure the satisfaction of longstanding clients.

I urge you to address this matter promptly and consider it as constructive feedback for the improvement of customer service standards at Chili's South City Mall.

They were very slow and uninterested in their work. There was no spark and atmosphere was very dull. The food was not up to the mark. The food was almost tasteless except the shrimp. Overall wud not like to visit anymore.

Well this is not the first time I am visiting the Chili's, have always been their regular customer. Yesterday we tried 2 items from their new set of menu. One was the Chili Lime Shrimp rice bowl and Jumbo Prawns in Butter garlic sauce. The Rice bowl was quite tasty with a mix of freshly grilled prawns, rice, sauted veggies, salads along with a green chutney. The Butter garlic prawns were however Soul satisfying. Served with garlic bread, the garlic sauce was delicious with a subtle sour taste and the prawns were so fresh. Looking forward to try their other new items!

Very few places in Kolkata can make a good Mexican food and Chili's is one of them.
Both their Fajita and Quesadilla are too good.
Located in a very happening place- 2nd floor of south city mall. From outside it looks small but actually they have quite big place inside.
Service is nice, food is excellent, and no loud music which is a big plus for me, you can enjoy your company or the food.
Overall five star.

A bit on the expensive. You can try any of their dishes except the Pork. It's horrible.

Not much to share, I love Chili's. Also, got a Tuesday offer where I got a huge buffalo tenderloin burger and a sweet choco chips brownie ice-cream dessert for Rs 580 (could have had two burgers as well).

Genuine Tex-Mex foods with a tangy touch of kolkata. Beware of the big size of choco lava cake, impossible to finish alone.

Tex-Mex style food items were above expectation. Portions were adequately large to satisfy hungry shoppers going for a late late lunch. Cocktails were quite good too (and we did try a few)

Service was not as good as the food. We had to wait quite a bit for orders - both food and drinks.

TBH, would prefer to rate it between 4 and 5 stars.

Checked in for a late brunch with a friend. The ambience was good with the music playing at the right volume so you can talk with eachother. I feel the food is more expensive than the US Chili's but it's good. The mocha shake, nachos and fries all tasted good and fresh.

The ambiance is striking. Visit with family, friends or your partner for a lovely time.
The seating space is nice and comfortable. The food is served without any delay.
The Grilled chicken comes with amazing creamy sauce and sauteed veggies on the side.
The crispy chicken balls with Cajun sauce serves as a great starter. Definitely order their bottomless coke and enjoy your time with your loved ones.

Horrible food and service!
Burger was bland and steak was almost raw. Waiters act like they are underpaid but service charge is levied.

My fav cuisine is Mexican. Bcz it's healthy and I love the flavour too. Chili's Grill & Bar is famous for serving American food, Tex and Mex cuisine and dishes influenced by Mexican cuisine. U can try each and every item. Each and Everything is special and delicious. All the items are worth the money and fullfill ur cravings.

Good always tastes good, I personally didn't like the taste of the tenderloin here, but that's a personal opinion. Service is also good.

I recently visited Chili's Grill & Bar, South City Mall Outlet and tried these amazing dishes! Food is amazing in terms of quantity, quality, and flavour. It's an ideal setting for large gatherings, dates, and families! The staff are very friendly and courteous!

Recommended dishes:
Southern Smokehouse Burger, Fish & Chips, Jumbo Prawns in Butter Garlic Sauce, Non Veg Triple Dipper, Blackened Salmon, Grilled Chicken with Creamy Jalapeno & Molten Choco Lava.

I only visited the Southcity mall outlet twice with my Brother.we both loved the place.
It was cozy inside.and we were craving for Pork pizza/pepperoni.
And we found it here.that was the best.
The Mocktails were also good enough.
Just the problem is they always serve the mocktails first and food served later.
Twice we went there and not much people were there at that moment.still its too long to serve pizza or in 2nd visit the salads.
But once the food is serve its just heaven.portions are good for 2 of us.and taste wise.we wana lick out plates
We will surely visit again

One of the finest eatery & brewery of South Kolkata. Ambience is great, hospitality of every staff is top notch. Cocktails are exotic & food items are delicious. One of my favourite place to have a continental meal. Lemon Caper Salmon & Presidente Margarita are must try. Don't miss the dessert section. Perfect place for hangout.

The food are all very tasty, I would recommend the flat bread and the dessert is a must try. Overall the service is fine but the drinks aren't as good as the food and it's quite expensive but it's worth it if you get the right food

Oh chilli’s amazing place, food is great, great offers, choosy options…. I would say this restaurant lies premium price and smart scale….

They have really nice variety of items, I love their brownies and pastas. The issue is most of the time if you are going for lunch dessert might not be available. Otherwise great ambiance, great food. Love the place.

The food was okay but I had some problems with the staff. They told us a certain seating area was not operational but it suddenly became operational within the next hour. Also the staff was not willing to make the smallest tweaks to our order. All we wanted was 2 burgers without cheese and 2 burgers with cheese which was something they just couldn't accommodate.

We ordered cranberry ice tea and some assorted quesedillas.food was good.
Fumigation could improve overall dining experience.we indicated that to the restaurant manager

Food was ok, nothing exceptional.
However, the cheap antics of the server while taking payment was horrible. While swiping my credit card for the payment, he showed an screen on the card machine which showed 'Tips' and asked me to punch the amount of tips. I told him that 'Service Charge' of 10% is already included in the bill, he answered still if I could tip! I categorically refused and told him if he wanted separate tips he should cancel the Service Charge from the bill. He said it's ok then not to tip separately.
This experience is a new trend in this restaurant, I have faced this in my last visit too.
The manager talked as if it was not wrong to ask for tip separately when they are already charging 10% Service Charge in the bill!

Chillis has the ambience of a pub right from the heart of NYC with a wide range of cuisines ranging from big mouth burgers to mexican enchilladas and italian delicacies. It also has a wide range of alchoholic and non alchoholic beverages according to your mood along with different varieties of desserts to satiate your sweet tooth. Chillis, for me is a place when i need to have lunch or dinner and even when i just want to have a milkshake and some onion rings in the midst of a shopping spree. Its a place that can light my mood and fill my heart with the delicious food, good music, sounds of laughter and the clinking of glasses in the background. Its a beautiful experience all in all.

One of my favourite places in the city. The 2nd best part, 1st being the food, is the ambience and the hospitality. I have hanged out with friends, family and even alone over here. They make you feel so comfortable. And the food is just amazing.

The quality of food has gone tremendously down. Came with such high expectations and leaving with uneasiness due to the horrible food.
The triple dipper had excessive sause and the other tasted like local beguni oil. Such disappointment.
The order was so poorly managed that they served drinks starters, main dish all together in the super small table
steak was reheated makind it hard as rubber.

Chilli's Resturant which is at South City Mall is the worst among all. The behaviour of the managers and staffs are very very bad. They don't co-operate with us. We asked them for the best dish among the salads menu.they don't even told us which one will be the best. We asked them to shift us to a different table because the table they told us to sit is not comfortable for us.at that time also the staff and the manager didn't co-operate with us. I repeat it again that " The behaviour of Managers and Staffs are not at all good ".

In one word: delicous. We ordered Chicken skillet jambalaya (with added prawns) and Lemon caper salmon. Jambalaya tasted good but the star of the show is salmon. Perfectly cooked fish with mouth watering crispy skin. Both the dishes were delicious and they will make you crave for more. 10 out of 10.

This has become my favorite place in Kolkata.

The Behavior of the Staff and Managers are toooooo muchhhhh bad just tooooo muchhhhh. I will not explain muchhhh but I am just frastrated tooo muchh by their behaviour.
The staffs and members of Chillis at the Quest Mall and Acroplis Mall are far far better.

Chilis south city is located at an excellent location and is ideal for a chilled dinner be that with family and friends or a quick date. My experience with chilis however has been less than ideal. The food they serve is pretty good but a tad bit overpriced. Some items on the menu are very overpriced for example deep fried pork ribs. We were also served cold coffee which was neither cold nor tasted like coffee. The other items that we ordered were acceptable. A good burger to try out at Chilis would be the Boss Burger.

This time food was not up to the expectations as I am a regular here, the bread of the burger was limp and the cheese cake was stale. When paying premium expectations rise too so absolutely dissatisfied.

The place, the food and the staffs are all amazing.
We had veg platter, non veg platter, fish rice bowl, pasta, mocktail revolution (it was really good) all over the experience was good.

Good eatery but i felt it is a bit too high rated. The quality of food they served are no where near to the price they charged. It is more like a brand to show off by taking pictures here. Mostly social media dependent stuff.

I am reviewing the one which is inside South city mall, everything is ok ok type including the food, interior decorations and staffs behaviour! But it is so overpriced & unreasonable! I can't believe they charge me 160 rs for two Diet Coke. Seriously!

Chili’s is one of the best restaurant to enjoy American dish as well as experience the one such kind of ambiance. We went Chili’s in south city Mall. Waiting time was less than usual time. We ordered Texas chicken wings bone in, golden crispy fish and chips and grilled chicken leg piece with sauté veggies. Chicken wings was good but definitely the taste was not usual one in America. Fish and chips was the best out of all the items we ordered. Fish was so tender yet the outside was crispy. To pair up with that mayo dip with herbs was there that was awesome as well. Also it came with french fries medium quantity. Finally we had grilled chicken leg piece with the seasonal vegetables like broccoli, boiled corn, celery, mushroom and also mash potatoes in caramel flavour. It was healthy and yummy. In dessert we enjoyed the classic mojito in mint flavour.overall the food was too good and ambiance was something one should experience. We had a scrumptious dinner indeed.

I think Covid has hit the brand really hard and they are trying their best to compensate for their losses by serving below average food which will taste just bland. I really couldn't taste anything. The grilled chicken they served was plainly sad to look at, small bland chicken piece served with bland potato mash and bland salad, with mayo and mustard sauce at the side to add some taste. I had gone to chillis in Mumbai and in Kolkata. I had to write that Kolkata standards have stoop down so low, it makes me wonder about other places. I really dont find it worth to spend the money and time here anymore.

Food is good but they are charging service charge as tips in the bill over gst which is totally illegal becoz tips is absolutely customer's choice as per consumer protection law.

Food is very Run of the Mill - almost favtory made without any customization or freshness. Ambience and drinks are good. 2 Stars for Food and 4 Stars for Service, Drinks and Ambience.

Started very good with kalmari squid but ended in a spoiled ribbed pork steak. It was horrible and total waste of money. Totally burned flesh. The burgers were tasteless. Was in a mood to chat with the chef to explain him that only good presentation and good tempting pictures in the menu card can't be a reason to continue in long run. In long run for a successful restaurant only taste matters. So without taste a restaurant can't survive with only ambience and presentation.

Costly but delicious good food - is what sums up my experience at Chili's. I've been here a couple of times only because of the savoury meal that's served here.
Moreover the cozy ambience and friendly staff who make it a point that you have the best experience and you don't have to wait too long for your hungry tummy to get filled, makes it a good place to bring along family and friends.
If you are willing to spend an extra buck for good food and experience then this is the place.
Do try fish and chips, Chipotle chicken pizza and shrimp basket.

Love the ambience. Great place to chill while watching a game of IPL or BPL. Better than TGIF. Would definitely recommend this place to any sports bar enthusiast.

One of a best food joint in Kolkata. Many a times I have visited this place but. Today think about to write a review about the restaurant. It's situated in the 2nd floor of the mall. I have ordered grilled chicken burger, Brownie and long Island iced tea. The was good in taste. Brownie was normal but the cocktail was not upto the mark. Overall it was a good experience.

On the 2nd floor of South City Mall this outlet of Chilli's is an absolute treat. The portions are quite decent, the decor - charming and the ambience - vibrant. The food was fantastic and the dips and sauces heavenly. The restrooms are very clean and there is also a smoking room. The staff are very courtous and it being a birthday lunch that we went for, they even performed a spirited jingle. Overall a fabulous experience.
