I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chopstick, a bustling restaurant that has made a name for itself in serving delectable Chinese cuisine. Despite a few minor hiccups, my overall experience was quite delightful.
To kick off our meal, we opted for the Chicken Manchow soup priced at Rs. 120, and the Mountain chicken, a starter priced at Rs. 160. The soup was a warm and comforting bowl of flavors, with a perfect balance of spices. It had a rich chicken broth, and the tender chunks of chicken added a delightful texture. The Mountain chicken, on the other hand, was a delicious appetizer that packed a punch with its bold seasoning. It was a great way to whet our appetite for the main course.
Moving on to the main dishes, we ordered the Egg Chicken Fried Rice priced at Rs. 170 and the Kung-Pao chicken priced at Rs. 150. While the Kung-Pao chicken lived up to our expectations with its flavorful combination of spices and tender chicken, the Egg Chicken Fried Rice fell short. The rice lacked the desired amount of flavor and could have used a bit more seasoning. It didn't quite meet our expectations, considering the otherwise impressive taste of the starters.
One aspect that could be improved upon was the ambience. The restaurant's AC was unfortunately not functioning during our visit, making it a rather hot dining experience. However, the attentive staff did their best to make up for the discomfort, constantly checking in on us and ensuring we were comfortable.
Another minor setback was the waiting time. Chopstick is undoubtedly a popular spot, evident from the constant stream of customers. Consequently, the kitchen seemed to be quite busy, resulting in a delay in serving our food. Nonetheless, the wait was worth it as the dishes were deliciously prepared.
Despite these slight hiccups, the vibrant atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent flavors at Chopstick left a positive impression. The restaurant's commitment to delivering authentic Chinese cuisine shines through in their carefully crafted dishes. I would highly recommend trying their Chicken Manchow soup and Mountain chicken starters, as well as their delightful Kung-Pao chicken.
Chopstick's dedication to providing a memorable dining experience is evident, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their enticing menu in the future.
Good food at very reasonable price, I would prefer mixed fried rice, schezwan chicken & barbecue chicken.you can try chopstick special noodles. Yes the restaurant is small and also the ambiance is not very impressive, but when comes to food quality it leaves all its shortcomings behind. Also available in Swiggy/Zomato.
Foods were really amazing.this restaurant is located near Behala parnasree.come here and have a taste of the best chinese delicacies. I'm a Chinese lover, really love this place, food And Atmosphere. One of the best Chinese foods i’ve ever had in my entire life.everyone should definitely go and try food here. Absolutely delicious. Seriously the best Chinese food ever! The environment is very good. A perfect gateaway to Chinese cuisine.lovely food, good service and at end of meal a satisfaction to your heart.must try.
AC restaurant near Behala Parnashree, serves Chinese food at a cheap rate. Quality and quantity both are top notch if considered the price of every item.
Great food. The value for money is stellar. They offer quite large portions. And food is quite tasty as well. They also take order by phone and have their own delivery system. So no need to go via third party apps
Saw this restaurant in zomato and thought of ordering food as this is very close to my home. Very small restaurant which has maybe a seating arrangement for only about 20 people or so. So its better to get the food delivered rather than dine there. I order mixed hakka noodles, mixed noodles gravy and schezuan chicken. The amount of food was fairly good. Liked the chicken which was just the way I wanted. Mixed hakka noodles was good too. The salt in the gravy noodles was a little less. Fairly a good experience. Will order again.
I have had noodles and a few other items from chopstick previously, which I ordered via Swiggy.
On the day of Saraswati Puja, I visited the place with two friends. The place was packed. We had to wait for half an hour to get a table.
Once we got our table, we ordered the following things:
- Drums of heaven - Mixed Chili Garlic Noodles - Szechuan Chicken gravy
The drums of heaven were tasty and well-tossed in the sauce. For the price, it was great.
Two plates of noodles were good enough for three people. There was enough prawns and chicken chunks in the noodles. And I could get the chili garlic flavour from the very first nibble.
The Szechuan Chicken was also good. It had 8 pieces of chicken. They were a bit smaller in size, but again, you need to consider the price of the item when judging the portion size.
A place I often end up going whenever I feel like having quality food without compromising the quantity. Chopstick is one the very old restaurants for Chinese cuisine lovers. The best thing about them is that even after years they have kept the quality of food intact and the quantity as well. It is a go to restaurant with decent price and decent food. Simply visit the place if you want to have good Chinese food with a good quantity!
Good quality Chinese food at great value for money. Positives: Tasty preparations. Large portions. Lot of choice for Oriental food. Value for money. Negatives: Small cramped space Located inside a dinghy cul de sac Table service could be better
A very nice and pocket friendly restaurant located and Parnasree Pally. Just 2 minutes walk from Parnasree bus stand towards Mio Amore cake shop. Apart from their delicious chinese food, you must try their sea foods also specially pan fried fish. In Parnasree and around area I must say their sea foods are best. A very good place for dine in and take away or order via swiggy. They are not in zomato yet. The only drawback is for take away they only accept cash not any online payment which is quite disturbing in this present time. Uploading their menu and some food pics, all are not clicked by me, some I have taken from my friends because their foods are so tasty I was enjoying the food quality so forgot to click pics. The price of mixed fried rice is showing 130 here but actually it is 135. Go there guys and trust me you won't be disappointed.
Pocket friendly counter. Quick served, good taste. Try some combo. One of the old and top restaurant at Parnasree area.you can go out for small party. Quality of food is pretty nice. Price is very reasonable.
Nice place to hangout with friends.you can have Frankie's and mouth watering fast foods on the side stalls. And have a famous tea shob in the same lane.
Picture is not relevant at all, food was okay as you don't find any good food stalls or any other restaurants. Place was not clean, and no staff who offers water.
One of the famous restaurant in POORNOSREE area. They also delivery food between their areas. Good quality food they increased their prices little bit fee days ago. Have a.c and small but clean place but the entrance is as ugly as the beautiful inside. Want to eat food go there but if u want to take your bf or gf on a date please don't go there and before you go specially on "Monday" please call them and ask is it open or not because sometimes on Monday the total poornosree markets are closed.
One of the most popular Chinese restaurant in Parnasree. Located near police station. Air conditioning and seating available. Order from here Swiggy Zomato.
Chopstick is wellknown for chinese food lovers specially i heard alot from my friends. People would love to see on site that they re offering good food at a very reasonable price and discounts.so i just ordered food from there - Sliced Fish Lemon Coriander Sauce (its a good dish not that bad neither too good.gravy was sweet n soury but the pieces of fish were getting melted in mouth it was so soft), Egg Fried Rice (it came in a very good quantity n it was nice good for 2 person, 3 can share too). But last not the least i had a very bad experiance with "Dragon Chicken"- first of all i didnt expct the dish to be a starter.it was overcooked n burned.almost came in 15 small pieces just like the filling inside a chicken roll (so dont order this one normally). Can go as starters with hard drinks.
We went there on saraswati puja honestly loved this place quite pocket friendly and nice ambience and yes do order wisely as one plate of Hakka noodles is enough for two, we ordered a plate of Hakka noodles and chilli chicken and steamed momos, loved the taste of the chilli chicken quite balanced and also the filling of the momos are generous.surely going to visit again.the place is a little shabby.
Good Quality of Food they are serving. The place is small enough but the environment is not so bad. At affordable price you can get chineese food items. But the Quantity of Rice they are serving is only enough for one person. Yesturday I visit there and Ordered Chicken Frierd Rice and Schezwan Chicken. The quantity of Rice is very less but the Chicken was tasty and good in quantity.
Most third class service. My son ordered chicken fried rice and kung pao chicken an hour ago. It seems our order was cancelled but we were not informed. Sorry state of affairs.
Best chinese restaurant in parnasree pally to order food online. Home delivery service is very good and it's very reasonable. Chilli pork is very yummy
It's like one if my favorite chinese joints to have a lovely meal in a really less price. Whatsoever the quality of the food being pretty remarkable at the same time. It is located in parnasree market. Highly recommend it for behala folks.
