This outlet of Chowman located near Golfgreen is just like its other outlets. However, coming to food, the taste of the items like chilli garlic rice served here differs to some level from the russel street outlet. The chilli fish from this outlet is quite descent in taste.
Excellent service and good ambience, as always. We went on Panchami during Pujo and had an enjoyable lunch. Very reasonably priced and good portion sizes.
Not bad. But isn't the best chinese restaurant in Kolkata as well. Had to wait for sometime as they were all booked. Restaurent is very small and has a capacity of may be 10 people. So it becomes little difficult to accommodate. Food is tasty and look fresh and healthy as well but not something out of the world. Reasonable rates Pretty much so makes it up.
The place can hold a max of 20 people at a single time. The area is compact, centrally air-conditioned and holds a Chinese theme to go along with it.the staff is dedicated but the service time is a bit stretched and one can expect to wait for 10-15 mins to get their orders. The food is decent and quantity is according to the price as well as the variety.
Chowman is one of that restaurant which never disappointed us with its food and hospitality. Very helpful staff & manager. Food quality is also very good.visited many times.but this outlet is not very much specious. Overall it is very good.
Good Chinese food with great food and beverage service from the establishment. Quality of Thai food is not upto the mark. Budget required for the restaurant is pretty average.
Ordered online fried rice and pork was horrible, a whole packet of chillies must have been added. Never eaten such rubbish Chinese! Had to eat sugar to cool myself, my tongue is as if on fire and my nose still is leaking. However the chopsuey was good and so was the packing
Most authentic oriental restaurant I've ever visited, that too in this budget. The quality, quantity, service, ambiance and cleanliness - all are worth the price. A must visit for food lovers. Great work "ChowMan".
Tiny joint. Clean and extremely well maintained. Staff well trained, friendly and courteous. We ordered soup, some starters, american chopsuey, mixed fried rice and hunan chicken. Each was fresh, cooked to perfection, even the veggies in soup was freshly cut and soup was light and wonderful. Prices and pretty economical compared to other Chinese joints in Kolkata. In a city teeming with Chinese cooks and joints, this is one that stands out.
Don't forget to try their dry chilli pork is really good! Other than that the chilli chicken is good too! The drink section does not live up to the mark!
One of the best places for Chinese around this part of the city. Their food is good and most importantly, you can tell they use good quality ingredients. The ambience is nothing special, nor is it spacious - quite the opposite actually. But they more than make up for it with their food. I prefer to order online or take away, but their food has never disappointed. Do try their crispy konjee lamb and chilli pork - highly recommended!
Surprised to find a small cosy restaurant in golf green neighbourhood.but thats the only small thing about it. The food is very good.service polite, decor nice and all for a very good price. Their takeaway is pretty good too. Just the space needs to be big for such a fine restaurant. Overall a nice neighbourhood restaurant. Must try!
A very good chain of restaurants which serves Oriental cuisines and seafood cuisines. Portion size and prices are also reasonable. Nice ambiance and well behaved and trained staff.
Good food similar to the kind of Chinese food available at China Town Tangra. Variety is good, and one of the few Chinese joints which offer pork and squid. But beef is not available.
