This time the servicing of main course was very very slow.
Otherwise a good place to be with family & friends. Courteous staff

I used to be a frequent client, i have dined in multiple times too n have ordered via online portals innumerable number of times. But recently i had a serious bad experience which is totally UNFORGIVABLE. FOUND A COPPER STRAND IN THE CHICKEN. It could have been FATAL if ingested. Attaching images for the same. I complained but got no response. Infact they dint take responsibility. What if a kid was eating it. It could have pricked the mouth too. Its really unacceptable.

No compromise with the quantity nd quality. They served delicious food, suggesting great combination. Great ambience.hope for visit again.

I have been ordering food from here for the last year quite regularly, although recently have noticed that they are packing stale food. Both of my last two orders had stale chicken, which is very disappointing and also alarming since they also serve pork which requires flawless preparation for health standards. Be very careful while dining/ordering from here.

Loved the place and food.
The place is bit small but happy to have a chowman near to home.
The service staff is very humble and polite.
The food is awesome and quantity is great.
Just hope they add more pork items in menu.

Terrible quality of food. Rice is having sand like thing added to it. Even one spoon was terrible to eat. Had doubt on quality of raw material used, threw away entire food in dustbin. This is really bad Chowman.

Honey chicken was awful. Rotten pineapple used in the preparation, prawn was stinking. I doubt is it a reputed restaurant or a local one. Please do a quality check before you deliver the product. I order through swiggy Order No: 118169041936 on 25th October 2021

Wonderful, but I recommend to use bright light instead, as I believe that every place that is specially a eating place must have bright light with which you can also make the restaurant look good even along with ambience

Food is fantastic. Lots of chinese items to try from. Service is fast. Not too expensive, but the portion sizes served should be worked upon because a helping of rice or noodles is too much for two people, with a little bit left over. If there were half servings available, it would be wonderful.

Have been ordering from them for the past two years and have never been disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. Light, not too oily, hot and fresh food that tastes great even on the next day.

The decor is very intimate and aesthetically thought out. The lighting is dim and along with the soothing music, it is perfect for romantic dining. The waiters are really friendly and gives amazing recommendations just in case you're too confused about what to order. It wasn't crowdy and is very sanitation-conscious. You can choose your corner and just have a great time with your loved ones. The prices are reasonable enough. I recommend the basa fish items for starters and the clay pot mushroom chicken is exceptionally delicious. The quantity is a lot. And all over, my experience was commendably nice.

Ambience was good, few of the dishes were cooked deliciously, still there is some scope of improvement to matchup to international Chinese cuisine taste

Hands down, one of the best Chinese restaurants in the city. The food is authentic and fresh. Ambience is the turning point for this place. The only blooper is that they have a novel sized menu book. Other wise, highly recommended.

ordered one mixed meifoon, one special fried rice, hot garlic chicken, sweet and sour chicken, walnut ice-cream and darshan with icecream. Quality and quantity is huge. We were sweating to finish it everyone was so full but the taste was so nice that we were able to finish it finally resulting fat bellies

I have always liked this place. Post pandemic they have started using disposable and good quality cutlery. They are charging extra 25 rupees for these safety measures. They are sanitizing hands and body at the entrance only. And food quality is very good as usual.

It's cool and nice place.a soft music continuously play a feel like very good and food quality is very good quantities also I just love this place.

Fab food and variety in both veg and non veg. I want to specially say that the veg food doesn't feel like an after-thought as it usually does in places that also serve non veg. So if you're a mixed crowd, this is an especially super place. They don't have sweet dishes, but I feel like going again and again just to taste all the items.

Food was good and really fresh. In terms of quantity too it was more than enough. Ambience was dark and serene. But the Chinese music which was playing on loop was bit boring.

I didn't find the food above average i think the story is same for almost all chowman outlet whether its ballygunge one or the jadabpur one.

We went to chowman during holi. Really like the decor and the music. Food was nice. We tried honey chilli crispy lamb, drums of heaven, singapore style mixed meifoon, mixed fried rice, chicken in hot garlic sauce and chilli chicken. We loved all the food except honey chilli crispy lamb. Chowman is quite pocket friendly and staff was courteous. It was overall a good experience.

It's just an awesome place to hangout with your friends and family. A five star rating food quality, service and ambiance. One must surely vist this place to get the real feeling of professionalism and welcome. So what are you thinking? Don't just read, go knock the doors and love the place by yourself.

Recently I hv not visited the place, but I had been 2 Chowman several times, n their food items r Super Duper, n also excellent service, overall rating is good.

The place was nice with peaceful ambience. The food quality was excellent. The servce was also good. The music playing could be better.

If you are a Chinese lover just like me, then Chowmans the place for u. They have a variety of spicy, non-spicy cuisines to satisfy ur cravings! The ambience of the restaurant & the attitude of the staffs were surely a bonus. U can visit the place along with ur family & friends.

All is nice about this place xcept when it comes to giving opinions. The manager vehemently oposes all criticism. We had duck once. The meat was so tough. It cudnt be cut. On mentioning the fact. The management simply stated that the meat is SUPPOSED to be tough!

Had set very high expectations from this place. But the food was not as tasty as we expected it to be. We had the worst drums of heaven and crispy honey chicken last night.
Even the service was not upto the mark. We ordered for fresh lime soda with the starters, but we almost got it as dessert
The quantity and quality of food is decent though.
Lastly i would say that this place is a bit overrated in zomato.we can have tastier Chinese food elsewhere as well.

Please ignore during any occasion. Food is way overpriced and the delivery service is absolutely horrible. Plus the management takes no responsibility for anything.

It was Father's Day ocassion and I ordered steamed crab in ginger wine sauce and we have got only the crab meat in the sauce. Very bad
customer service of the restaurant they have written steamed crab not crab meat. They are supposed to modify their menu card with dish details. My ocassion has been spoiled.

A very good restaurant with authentic chinese food. Awesome ambience and the staff is very well mannered.

This is a good restaurant in kolkata its all preparing item so tasty and good behavior of all staff. I'm satisfied from their service.

Overall a good place to be. Had some problem with the door lock in thr washroom but it got sorted the next time we arrived there
