The staff is so frustrated they talk like they're favouring us, take so long to serve, hygiene issues.

Had the worst experience today.ordered my food at 9 pm, received the food on my table at around 10.15.just ordered 2 plates fried rice and crispy chicken tossed in sauce.received the rice first and then came the chicken after another 15 mins.my little children had to wait for so long and had to have this horrible food.never going to recommend any one. Not worth the hype.

Use to be my fav place during my school days but when i visited during puja 2023 i was highky disappointed with the food quality, service, staff behaviour, carelessness.
They dropped food while serving the appologies are not even there in the scene.just a sorry they thought will work perfectly fine as they ruined the 10k dress of mine just because of their carelessness.
Worst service ever. Very disappointing!

Worst feedback from my side because when I was trying to place an order online I literally called them more than 50 times in an hour it happened before also but they didn't give any response because they have more sale they neglect there customers because of the customers only this cafe is well known if the customers won't go to the cafe or not order online for just 1 week they will understand the value of customers

Crispy fish with lemon n coriander sauce.pan fried chilli fish. Caribbean drum sticks. Drunken noodles best of the lot.must try.

All time favourite Chinese restaurant
Near my home.they servers delicious Chinese foods.variety of items you will find in their menu. Quantity quality both are 10 on 10 I love this place.

This is my 7th Visit.
I must say that this cafe serves some of the best Indian Chinese cuisine at a good price considering the location. The atmosphere of the cafe is quite mesmerizing and cosy. However, the only issue here is the service as I felt that the service is pretty slow and the staff members such as waiters are not that active and are evidently less in number. Apart from the service, the ambience and the most important thing that is the Chinese food here is finger licking good.

This was my 5th visit.
The staffs behaviour was supper impressive, they serve you everything.
The food is as usual supper tasty, as they serve delicious authentic chinese dishes.
The price are little high and the space little congested.

I would recommend to try omelette wrapped fried rice once. Its delicious.
And it serves totally halal.

Its a good restaurant with quality food and good quantity. Though the space over here is a little bit small but the ambience is good.

Good Food. Friendly Staff. Reasonably priced. Do provide wifi inside as network gets lost for major service providers

Always the favourite since my childhood and now it has become fav with my kids. Good food good people and good ambience. Recently I missed the instrumental music which was signature style for this restaurant. Hope they will start soon. Food quality and taste always good. Mocktails are priced on a higer side.

This is a very nice place for Chinese food. CIT cafe is close to my college so I have gone here often. The place is bit smaller but perfectly utilized to make 2 floors with dim lighting that makes the environment nice. There are seats for families also.
Food is very well prepared. There are a wide range of varieties of rice, chicken and fish. Desserts are there too. No beef/pork is served. Recently I had honey pineapple fish, mixed rice and drumstrick chicken. They were very tasty, the fish was properly cooled and soft. Do try that out. Desserts are also nice. One can try out the brownie or the chocolate sunday.
Price for two is bit on higher side but worth it. 800 approx, if starter is taken.
Behaviour of staff is polite. Extra service tax is not taken. Food is served fast. And they donot interfare much, maintaining personal space. If one wishes, food is served to them.

Food ain't good, quantity is very less compared to price. It's standard has dropped. Too congested and disturbing notice from the bar. Though the cafe is situated in a prime location with nicely behaved staff

They have one of worst delivery service. They take more than 2hours to deliver 3 items to a location which is hardly 10mins away from their location.

Good Chinese food. Good taste. But (it is purely my observation) I think now quality has little bit gone down still it is far far better than so many other Chinese restaurants

It is a good place and also the food is high quality but sometimes the red chicken (spicy) which I order is overcooked so 4 stars

I haven't had better Chinese and continental dishes than Cit cafe date. Cosy ambience perfect for both family and couples. A must visit

Good place good food but few things are very expensive like for example for a small plate of onion salad they charged Rs. 100/- n for a chicken pakoda in diced shape very thin around 8pcs in quantity they charged Rs. 220/-. Absolutely shocking. Due to pandemic they have reduced their staffs due to which service was geting delayed but prices of food was same as earlier. 1 can't carry on like this.

Good atmosphere. Staff behavior is too good. Mouth watering foods. All over I love the place and I asure you I would have like to go back there again and again

College time memories. One of the best Chinese restaurant in Kolkata. Foods are extremely soothing to the palate. Well decorated and very well ambience. Parking available. Long serving period is only drawback.

CIT Cafe basically for chinese food. They are good at this ground.
We took a chiken toritoly soup, a mix chowmein and a woked fish braised with black bean sauce.
All were good. But the soup was fantastic. It was so tasty and mouth watering.
Affordable restaurant also.

So once again I went to this place and I had this new dishes in my list from this restaurant. I really love this place because it has the parking lot and also beautiful food from the restaurant. And very reasonable. The food quality is amazing and also the quantity is really perfect. Good ambience as usual and also sanitised well. And the people in the restaurant are lovely. They are polite and they help you if you need any help. So must go to this place.

First of all staff is quite polite and was wearing masks. Food was awesome, beautiful presented, nice menu, not over priced. But i think they lack a little management, we went to the restaurant at 7.30pm we got our order around 8.25pm, the place was jampacked and everybody was shouting for orders, one of the couple also cancelled the order and went away without eating any food due to extreme delay in order, rest was good, but they must employ more chefs in order to minimise such things in future.

Really Bad Service. No proper coordination between the kitchen and service. Food was served really late approximately 2 hours after ordering. Really bad experience overall.

Great place aesthetically pleasing, food quality through the roof. Food serving takes time (waiting time 30 minutes to 50 minutes).

Take it from the guy who eats two plates of biriyani in one sitting the quantity in cit cafe is huge and service is on point and food was delicious. And very much pocket friendly.

I've been visiting this place since 2008. Since then it's one of our favourite restaurant. They serve best Chinese food- specially chilli chicken, mixed prawn fried rice, fish coriander.

Its awesome. The best Chinese food i ever experienced. Its mind blowing. Staff behavior is too good. Food quality is awesome. Very healthy and tasty food

Last day 4th July 2021, I was in CIT cafe and had a very bad experience.

I invited my mother in law. My mother was also there to have some good time.
My Aunt, wife and my 1.5 year old son also there.

But I feel so bad that I am unable to give them a good time due to the bad service by Cit cafe.

Only food is not enough, people go any restaurant or a cafe to spend some good time with family or friends.

What bad experience I faced?

I told my family that CIT cafe is best for Chinese food. The test is fantastic and the price and quantity is very good.

But when we visited there around 7 pm and we
ordered food, we were waiting for an hour and got the only one item that is drums of heaven.one item was not available, that is fine.

In the name of drums of heaven we got 6 thin fried chicken pieces only. We disappointed so much that time. Never expected that.if you have pressure then don't serve food that is not as per the description.you should not allow people after 8 pm or control the online order or manage it correctly.

Now a few times later we got our main course.
In chicken chowmin I am not able to see chicken at all, This is also not expected, anyway.

We ordered again and we were waiting for another hour for next order to serve.

But the 2nd order came when I asked for bill as we were not getting the food which we ordered for the 2nd time.

Till that time I lost my face infront of my in law and mother.

My 1.5 year Son was crying a lot. Because we were there for a long time and that is just because of delayed in serving the food.

We wait for 2 hours for food, can you imagine?

So why we were so late because WE were serving for online deliveries.
WE were serving the people who came last but get food befor us.

This is not expected.
Never recommend to anyone next time.

Yes if we are talking about the food quality, then I'll say that its not the best but at the end the food here is tasty. More over its having a well balanced & elaborate Oriental menu which is both tongue & pock-friendly also. This can be termed as a budget family restaurant & well being a professional foodie I enjoyed my food down here.

In short try the Chinese items. First all the dishes are delicious. Quantity wise absolutely perfect. Prices are indeed pocket friendly.

Food quality and quantity is always good but the food comes very late after 40-45 minutes later but their Chinese food is just superb and you should also try trutty fruti in desert

Love the restaurant. Best in terms of price, quality and quantity. Service is customer friendly and efficient. Very good place.

We had a high expectation from this eatery but we got highly dissapointed regarding the food quantity and quality.
Hunan Chicken is really a overpriced product in comparison to the price as its quantity is very less.

Excellent food, cool ambience, huge variety of cuisine with good portion. The service staffs are always there to help you with everlasting smile in their face. Overall conclusion is value for money.

It was great before the Covid situation, it was one of the best and cheap place to go for quality Chinese. Post Covid the quality and the taste of food has deteriorated drastically. Not what we expect from CIT cafe. For management please get back to what it was Cit cafe is one of my favorite place to go.

It is a very good restaurant full air conditioning. It serves only chinese authentic dishes. Food quality is very well. Card payment system is available here.
