The swimming pool has a good length, well maintained, and the Coaches are the best in their job, because of them I was able to swim freestyle in just 2 months, keeping in mind I never knew how to swim. The water in the pool is clean and chlorinated. Dressing room and showering room is good too. ID card gets checked everyday at the gate and admission starts at 1st March.
Talking about the management, they have the worst of it. I had my competition on 24th Sep, at 6: 25pm, they conducted the final at 5: 30Pm as "They want to pack up and go home quickly". The final consisted of 3 boys, and from that they were given 1st, 2nd, 3rd rank. After complaining they pushed us, didn't listen anything we had to say. I will suggest you, you can go in this swimming club but never take part in the competition. Go somewhere else they will conduct the competition better than here. They are doing this just for show, nothing serious.

Have been going here since this season. The pool is cool lot many slots. As a swimmer it feels good. As a novice the overall experience can be different.

It is the best place to learn swimming forms are available from February and the session starts from April and ends before Puja. It is so cost friendly like 2000 for adults and you can learn swimming here best for family and the people are from sophisticated class so it's the best place

Is there is different pool for women? Also do let me know when is the admission starts for next year

One of the best and most importantly INDOOR swiming pool in Kolkata, highly experienced mentors, For me, I learnt under Tarashankar Sir, he is simply excellent. Thank you CMC

The pool is quite big and clean, it is totally covered. That's why can't effected by any outside problem like rain or storms etc.

I wanted to rate it even lower than 1 star but I couldn't. The trainer named Mickey who's official name is Sumona Nag, has been harrassing me since the day I joined this swimming club this year. I've been swimming at different clubs since I was 2 and half years old but I've never been faced with such insults in my 21 years. Her behaviour has been the worst lately which made write this review against this swimming pool. She has been accusing me of false allegations which makes me lose my face and reputation in front of every swimmer. This is not just me who is facing this issue. There are many who has similar complain but can't do anything except to deal with it. So I'm writing this review on behalf of all of them and will soon issue a legal notice against her for her actions and behaviour towards others.
Thus, I would recommend you not to join this club no matter what the circumstances you are in since she'll harrass you no matter whether there is a reason or not. She is the worst trainer you'll ever get in your whole swimming career.

Swimming pool at its best cost. Anyone can learn swimming here with help of trainers. Trainers are polite, and teach properly. There is two big pool, one for kids and one for women. And both the pools are used by men after 7 or 7: 30 pm in every evening.monday is closed.

Now I am learning swimming in this club under efficient trainer. They are soft spoken, have perfect behaviour on every students, they are also experienced.
Inside is very clean and clear, we have sufficient water to take bath, swimming pool is properly maintained. Have sufficient changing room.
I feel very comfortable in this pool.

I learned swimming here and enjoyed very much. They have a proper instructor and the pool is also clean as crysral. It has 2 pools each 25 m.

I am a handicapped having polio on my leg. I can ride 2 wheeler, bicycles and even drive automobile. I have several bicycles and I always fit Ralson tyres. I make long rides and hence myself do the maintenance and repair of my bicycles. I bought 2 no’s 26X1 1/2 tyres from Krishna cycles, Kolkata before lockdown. Last week during inspection I find a portion of the side wall is bulged. On opening I find the bead wire is broken. I took the tyre to your Kolkata office. According to them the bead wire is broken due to tyre lever. One thing is that the tyre never had any puncture nor was it removed from rim. Secondly, sometimes due to over inflation the rubber comes off from the bead. But the bead wire breaking is something unusual and is actually manufacturing defect. Your Kolkata office allowed replacement after much argument and I had to pay Rs 90/-. They told me that this is done as a special case and they will not do any further. On inspections of the other tyre I find that it also have same bead breakage. This tyre is fitted in the front wheel and this also is never removed from rim for any puncture etc. It is quite evident that the tyres are having this bead breaking issues. Hence I would request you to please do the needful and replace the tyre.

Six month swimming session upto October. After that pool is closed for next session. Total course costs 2100

It's a good swimming pool. Conveniently located. Good vibes!
The water is clean and treated. The changing rooms and shower area are well maintained. The covered swimming pool has seating area with ceiling fans.
Best of all one can swim in peace! They have limited seats per batch to avoid crowding. Also, the admission process is hassle free with reasonable fees charge for the whole season.
Happy to be a member of Southern Avenue Swimming Club. CMC is doing a good job!

Great things about this place:
AFFORDABLE this place charges you around 2100 INR (novice for a swimmer it may differ but not by much) for one session which lasts between months of May-October which is super cheap compared to most swimming pools.
CLOSED SWIMMING POOL the swimming pool for kids men and women are shaded which is not the case in nearby clubs like Anderson. No WORRIES ABOUT SUN TAN even swimming at 3pm is healthy here because you have no sun exposure while swimming.
EASILY ACCESSIBLE you can take an auto, bus or your private car it's quite close to the main road so travel is not a concern at all
GREAT INSTRUCTORS the instructors are super talented and focus on each and every learner in the first few days a trainer will guide you themselves which is seen very rarely. All trainers especially the women MAKE YOU EXERCISES FOR 10 MINS ATLEAST to get your body moving which again is not done everywhere.
MOST IMPORTANT IT IS CLEAN IT IS CLEANED TWICE A DAY AND THE AFTERNOON HOURS ARE FOR CLEANING THOROUGHLY EACH AND EVERY DAY SO IF YOU THINK SINCE ITS SO CHEAP IT WILL BE DINGY AND UNHYGIENIC YOU ARE WRONG IT IS SUPER HYGIENIC AND IT HAS A LOT OF SHOWER AREAS AND A LOT OF CHANGING ROOMS WITH ABSOLUTE HYGIENE MAINTAINED.
