Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri

Raja was the best in service, very polite, friendly and respectful in buffet service at restaurant. Loved the food! I saw an incident where people behaved badly with abhinash, it was not his fault, I request the management not to do any bad action with abhinash. The people were behaving badly with staff. I really enjoyed the whole experience at marriot and would recommend everyone to eat here.

I haven't stayed here but visited the restaurant a few times. The food is not worth the money but good enough. I expected more from a brand like Marriott.

Worst food in buffet. I expect a start quality & taste. It made my wife's bday a nightmare. Got really embarrassed in front of my guest for the taste of food.

Tried food not so good ok ok type noting special at all and the prices are higher than expected

We had a superb experience of stay with Courtyard by Marriott and not to forget the hospitality with personal touch by each and every staff to name a few, Palas, Prahlad. Here I would also like to mention especially a Chef, naming Mr Sanjeev Sharma, who has been totally involved with all the guests in the Restaurant (Siliguri Kitchen) and gave a hint of his Culinary Skill by serving us Paneer Giloti Kebab (Lucknow style) it was melting in the mouth leaving an everlasting taste. A highly recommended property to stay with family for vacation or even on business tours.

Silence is the essence for busy world now a days. It's a quite decent place to stay. Awesome food and Excellent Room Service.

In the heart of town. Good rooms, neat and clean.food was good and staff looked after me well.
The lights in the restaurant are too low hanging with sharp edges. I got slightly injured. Poor interior decor in the restaurant.
Overall a good experience.

I would request everyone not to do any program here. Hear totally Third class system. Security check in and check out system is very bad.

Situated at about 45 mins from the Bagdogra airport, the Courtyard Marriot is a very new five star hotel in Siliguri. My experience of staying over a weekend was good. We stayed at the suite on 4th floor. All amenities of a business hotel are available. Restaurant is big and has a courteous staff and a wide range of menu.

The food here is not too good.
I have visited this place a many times but I had the same experience throughout.
The food needs to be improved.

I was trekking to sandakphu in December 2020 & had kept my travel and trek connected to avoid unnecessary stay during the pandemic, but flight cancellations and rescheduling compelled me to stay for a day in Siliguri before starting my trek. I quickly booked with Courtyard by Marriott. First problem arrived as soon as I landed in Siliguri as the check in time was 3.00 pm and I had landed at 8.00 in the morning. I went to the hotel straightaway and the staff was generous enough to not only welcome me but they also offered me an early check in at no extra cost.
The property in itself is extremely well maintained. The staff was courteous and the food was stunning!

Typical city hotel. Rooms were smallish, but well cleaned and maintained. Food was also good. The courteous service of reception and restaurant staff was a pleasant touch.

We were enroute on our honeymoon to Darjeeling, so we stayed for the night. It was a pleasant surprise that they were thoughtful to decorate the room for us. They did have a sumptuous buffet spread and we enjoyed every bit of our short stay. A true Marriott experience. Thank you.

My Stay at Hotel Courtyard Marriott in Siliguri was fantastic, staffs treated me like their family member, I highly recommend this hotel to everyone, I look forward to visit this hotel again with my Parents, Mr Arpan, Mr Prabhakar, Mr Satya, Mr Dalim, Mr Dwarka, Mr Bhaskar, Mr Rithoban, Mr Jishan, Ms Ranjita, Ms Binu, Ms Mary, Ms Unish, Ms Alex and all other staffs were very friendly. I stayed in Room no 611,901 and 903 in the name of Sankaran Chandran.

Very nice place with courteous staff, Rooms are very clean & spacious. We had a comfortable stay there. Food is good not very good. Overall it's a nice place and good service.

A well equiped property with all modern amenities. Room are are the marriott standard but the only thing which is going to disappoint is the food and service. I have stayed in many other high end luxury brand but have never experienced such a pathetic service and food. Other than these 2 things it was a fine experience.

Property is really good with all the possible amenities. 100% on expectation but front staff can be more polished in nature that can be an added advantage if taken care. Rest all is good.

Complicated entrance to the compound. Entry and exit through entry gate only. Complicated entrance to their reception. No lift facility from parking to the reception area. Banquet concept very poor. They offer to provide half the banquet hall for 100 heads in events, thereby making the seating arrangements very clumsy. Do not have liquor license. They ask guests to pay for liquor licenses for events that they organize. Good part is, it is aesthetically a good place and the banquet hall is quite spacious. Overall, mediocre concept and style of management.

Good hotel. Sumptuous breakfast with plenty of choices. Nice pool. Good rooms. But the restaurant service is very poor. Still doesn't have a bar.

This review is specific to the Siliguri Kitchen restaurant at Courtyard by Mariott, Siliguri. This also is my first ever anything less than a 5-star review for any Marriott property worldwide. Siliguri is my hometown and when in-home for Diwali I learned about the new and the first Mariott property being opened in Siliguri and decided to take my parent for a dinner.

This was the day after Diwali, 28th October. I do not know if they were sparsely staffed due to the holidays or something else, but there was just 1 server in the entire sub-section of the restaurant and a few managers. Naturally, the service was slow and on every occasion I needed something, I had to look around, wait, keep looking and then I would get attention from someone. Which while not great, is ok. I can deal with it. However, things got worse when the food actually started coming. After initially serving the food, every subsequent serving had to be done ourselves, there was no attention from the staff as to if we wanted additional servings if we wanted something else, complete lack of attention.

Having done with dinner, I asked for the bill which came with a feedback form, I rightly mentioned the same thing on the form as above and placed my card on the bill. The server came and asked, what was wrong with the service? , I told him the same thing that I mentioned above and to which he to my utter surprise replies, "Sir in À la carte we serve the food only once and after that, if you need, you need to serve yourself. " I very politely told him, that this is not my first time in a fine-dine restaurant and neither is it my first time, dining in a Mariott property and that I am a Mariott Gold Elite so I am aware of what the experience is supposed to be and unfortunately this did not meet them.

The server made this experience worse by finally replying in a sarcastic tone, "sir then you must be at some special restaurant where you get that service. "

I just wanted to provide some honest feedback on the feedback from and was extremely disappointed with the way it was handled.

It was quite difficult to find a quality and well maintained accommodation in Siliguri up until now

Courtyard by Marriot is the latest large sized hotel in siliguri. It is not far from the City Center shopping mall and its around 30 mins from the airport.

Room size is large and spacious and quite clean.

The breakfast spread is quite good with fresh juices. Good continental breakfast range.

Swimming pool on the 2nd floor. We stayed in December 2019.

A regular Marriott business property located in town. Crowded area and lot of traffic encountered to approach the hotel. Good clean rooms and common area. Average food but a adequate spread in terms of buffet for breakfast & dinner. Does not fall short neither does it excel!

One of the best I suppose in Siliguri after Sinclair's. Located at a prime location right in the centre of Siliguri and near to the Highway connecting Sikkim / Darjeeling / Jalpaiguri.

It's a decent joint.

Today was the Bangladesh food festival.so there were a lot of ethnic dishes on the table.

The shrimp inside the brinjal was new to me.

Dessert spread was pretty elaborate too.
On the whole, a nice experience.

Soo much love for the great gift for siliguri local. But rooms are costly 4500 for single bed room with atach toilet. 2 bed room 6500 and business class rooms are in 11000 to 12000

No system in serving the buffet.there were people fighting over food as if it was a musical chair sort of game, ' who grabs the food first ' type. Typically lazy and less amicable staff.delayed services and less spacious dining hall

The hotel are lovely and probably it best hotel in siliguri I think with a luxury and comfort. The staff of hotel are really helpful for me and they had really good food service and the really clean. From the top of the hotel we many scene of siliguri city. In Marriott's hotel they are provided all facilities like gym, wifi, swimming pool etc. They are provided a perfect Indian dishes in there hotel. If you come siliguri stay in this hotel if you all facilities and comfortable rooms then another hotel. I loved this hotel as well.

I usually stays at lemon tree.this time I shifted to newly opened “courtyard”. It’s a tall 14 storey building, great rooms and awesome food at the restaurant.

Beautiful spic and clean hotel. Very new. Hope they do well and continue to serve their patrons well. I had the buffett breakfast and everyone was so courteous. The food especially the fish was wonderful. The egg curry too was super. The pool and gym both were excellent even though I couldn't use them. Another excellent thing they had was the smart TV which you rarely see even in 5 star hotels. Courtyard siliguri will be my go to place when I am in siliguri every time. Congrats and keep it up guys.
