Chitra Cinema Hall is an important landmark of Asansol, but as the time pasess, it has lost it's identity. Soon people of Asansol may forget this name. But as an Asansolian we are proud for this Hall. But now a days it has nothing. It's screen, seats, air conditioning system all need to be changed. Due to negligence in maintenance the hall has lost its glamour. Hope it got restored CHITRA. The Proud Of Asansol.

Very old cinema hall in Asansol, though struggling to keep up with other cinema halls in the city, the tickets are available at cheap price and it had been a place of film gossips and discussions, still hols a cult status among the citizens of the city, among senior citizens perhaps, good facilities are provided by the staff.
