Food was not at all up to the mark. I ordered chilli chicken, mixed fried rice and fish fry. At first I think they wanted to make it so special that they made the worst. The oil was gazing at me with the chicken fritters. If anybody consumes the whole surely they're gonna stay all day in the bathroom. And the fish fry. God knows what sort of fish they use. When I ate i just found it tough to chew, it was so hard inside.
One of the biggest names in restaurants near dumdum railway station, providing budget friendly (or "semi-budget friendly") food with a good taste. A cozy place to hang out with friends, family or a loved one on any occasion.
We ordered chicken fried rice (300/-) it had a wierd off smell…on telling them they said, its the smell of the rice the use. We could not have it. Pepper garlic chicken had tiny pieces of chicken. Tandoori roti size and thickness was matching to homemade rotis…. Overall it’s expensive with worst quantity food.
Food quality was good. Specially the taste of the biriyani was really good at that price range. Best restaurant in this reasonable price range. And the atmosphere is really commendable. Everything has the feel of Bangaliyaana So, Good food good Time
Ambience is nice and food was okayish but as i was meeting an old friend of mine, we were chatting over a soda after finishing our dishes. Stuffs in a way asked us to leave in no time (while 75% of the space was free to take). They may formally greet you and everything but shows sheer professionalism when time comes. It was a frustrating experience.
The food is very nice, except for some spillage issue, everything was great about this restaurant. Their Mughlai Food and Bengali Cuisine are really a must try.
The hostess waiting my table was loud. And I thought I overheard her say something derogatory about me to her colleague, when I didn't order the salad with my biriyani. Now, about my order, the special dum mutton biriyani: The portion size was not worth the Rs 355/- charged. I can tell this from my experience of being at almost all the biriyani joints in town. The quality was not exceptional, but was not bad either. The two meat pieces were succulent and decently flavoured. But there is a lot of room for improvement. The thing I liked was the cleanliness of the dining area. The men's toilet was usable but was out of liquid soap. Special mention - this restaurant takes hygiene during covid very seriously. All the attendants wore masks properly, and I also was offered to sanitize my hands while entering the premises. I will not mind bringing my family to this place because of the overall ambience. I am sorry, I am not easy to please.
Worst restaurant they are making people fool.they are charging Rs 58 for a tandoori roti and the condition of the roti was very bad u can see in the picture
Food quality is very low. Ordered chicken lollipop, they charged higher than any steetside restaurant, but the chicken quality and quantity and above all the taste is less than average
Hospitality is very good and top class but food is not so good. I have tried special chicken biriyani and Angara kabab, The chicken in biriyani is very hard and taste less and the biriyani rice is very very less spicy although the raita provided with biriyani is very good. Angra kabab is so so, some pieces of chicken are very hard and not so juice. So I will not recommend this two item
Very bad tasting food and also very expensive. Don't go alone because the portions are ridiculously large and even a horrific eater cannot complete a single portion of any dish.
This is near dum dum metro station. This is a good restaurant. You have dine in option as well as takeaway option also. The Mughlai cuisine is very good. If you like tandoor then tandoori chicken in starter must try, very tasty ans juicy. Service and behavior of the staff is very good and kind.
I took delivery of order as in bill mentioned. Egg fried rice is stinky. Its stinking after washing my hand with handwash twice. Special dakbanglow. Chicken and mutton were atlease a day old. Chicken was extremely undercooked. Worst experience. Paneer was hard as rubber. Not expected.
D P B, be cautious now or else you will not be in the race. This id disaster.
Fast and prompt service. The steward gave us a nice suggestion of food. Had the mutton biriyani and rara chicken. Amazing taste. The seating was little cramped up, but the ambience was nice.
Overpriced menu for 2021 puja season. Indian gravy dishes are for bread only, not for rice. As the front the house manager told me I should have ordered Chinese instead of Indian (he told me at halfway of my dining). And I had to order another dish for gravy. Good monkey business.
Very high price in comparison to food quality and quantity. Even they gave an already opened bottle in name of seal packed mineral water. Food was not too good, it was average
Worst food quality, offering tastless food at high price. During durga puja extra charges are claimed by the restaurant. 20% price hike. Worst behaviour of the waiter.
I have visited first time at here. The location is very near by dum dum station. Walking distance 5 min towards nagerbazar. The ambience is good. At the gate they will give you hand sanitizer. The distance between 2 table are ok. The food quality is good. We have ordered 5 dishes and all are good is taste. The hakka nooddles are not liked by everyone in our team but other items like chili baby corn, rice are liked by everyone. The price is standard. Overall the place is nice. Everyone can visit here and will have a nice experience.
Whenever I went to a resturant I always prefer customer service and hospitality.
Today 9/12/2019 first time I have been to this restaurant and I loved the ambience.
Customer service and the hospitality is too good. Well behaved people with a warm welcome.
There are varieties in the menu and the taste is awesome outstanding food quantity and quality.
It's a nice place to come with family friends office colleagues and I would definitely recommend this place for them who want to taste different types food.
Female staffs are well maintained and nicely dressed up. I have added the latest photo of the menu as well as the food please review this photo before going to this place I hope you all will love it thank you.
Jayanta Sarkar from Barasat. One of the staff at the resturant whom I have met and the service he has given me along with the discount coupon has really made my day.
Good for fooding and at affordable and reasonable prices. You cab also enjoy a short party or organize a birthday celebration at this restaurant. Staffs are so friendly and good behavior. You can have chicken tandoori. So tasty and love the way they serve the foods to customer. Quiet fastidious for having dinner. You must visit this for family treat or for any occasions.
One among the best restaurants. The food and the ambience, both are extremely good. The employees are very friendly. They are following all the covid protocols.
We have been here for more than 10/12 times. Never ever disappointed.
They wanted to keep a taste of bengali cultural ambience which seemed pretty nice but little congested. Well behaved staffs. Food is tasty but a bit pricy.
This was my favourite restaurant but now day by day i realise they compromise their quality, i eat various food item and many times, today i bought mutton biryani, mutton is totally uncooked.
Just awesome. Price is slightly high. Cooperative staff. Thankful for all staffs. Nice ambiance. I ordered chicken Biryani & mutton briyani. Great test. Not much oily. So its good for health also.
The food here was good. The rara chicken is specially delicious. I had ordered rara chicken, butter tandoori roti and sweet lime soda. All of them were good. Except there were so many flies in the restaurant. They should take care of it.
Good quality of food with taste & freshness. I took Fried Rice & Maple Chicken & Mutton Biryani. Ambience is value worthy. But Biryani is not upto mark. I give 4 out of 5.
The most famous Bengali restaurant in North dum dum! I had their Chinese menu, it was quite good. Long queues can be found during festival season and Bengali new year day. Space crunch will be immense on that time. Better to go in non-festive season and try their delicacies. I don't visit much often because their road that leads to this restaurant is super congested!
They have degraded. Quality is third class, if you're taking delivery, there are high chances they will stale chicken or yesterday's leftovers. No chance of revival. Curse to the person responsible for the quality degradation.
Nice restaurant with Bengali, Chinese and Continental foods available. Most of the things in their menu are available all the time. Food delivery service is also on point. The dine in experience I had was great with a nice interior, AC and side window view. Recommend.
I relished a combo dish from this renowned restaurant of North Kolkata. This Chinese dish came with a serving of Mixed Hakka Noodles, alongside three pieces of boneless chilli fishes and three tiny chicken balls. The quantity that they served was satisfactory and both the quality & taste were commendable as well. Packaging was done perfectly, without any leakage whatsoever. Thanks to Zomato's limited-period offer, I availed a handsome discount on the food order. I would recommend this restaurant for occasional dining only, because regular consumption of fast-foods could be detrimental for health.
আমার চোখে দেখা আতিথেয়তায় সেরা রেস্তোরাঁ (Restaurant) দাঁড়াও পথিক বর.
The ambience of this restaurant is excellent and very nicely arranged. We ordered 4-5 items on that day, of which fish malai kabab was just awesome. Other dishes were also great. Even they had arranged a table for my cousin brother and sister's birthday celebration. Behaviour of each n every staff was also very amicable. I recommend to every viewer, Don't hesitate, just go there, Darao Pathik Bor.
So, if you are around Dumdum Railway station, whether Metro Rly. Or Indian Rly, then you can take the taste of West Bengal here. We went for Marriage anniversary ceremony and what we liked was the welcoming experience. All the attendees have welcomed with Folded hands saying Namaskar and what was really to be liked in one say was it's ambience. I personally liked it. The aura and essence of the place was really likeable. If you are here then first order Chilli Baby, tasty and very crunchy. We ordered DPaB Special Mutton and then Paneer Jaipuri with Lachchha Parantha. The restaurant also offered complimentary soft drink
This place is one of the best that i have visited till date. Hospitality is simply at an elite level and the guests are treated with the epitome of culinary experience. One cannot expect such a great place located near Dumdum Metro Station. This is simply a hidden gem. We ordered
Hunan Fish ₹340 Regular Fried Rice ₹240 Chicken in Maple Chilli Sauce ₹275 Gulab Jamun ₹80
All the items are really good and tastes awesome. Also try their Indian Cuisine and you would be bowled over by sheer quality of food they has on offer. Simply loved their experience. Looking forward to visit them again.
