I did my PhD thesis book from this house.
They are very renowned in Kolkata. They did a good finishing to overall of my book, binding and printing quality both were better than others.
But the rate of printing is too much even for binding also. In cover page only mono colour printing is possible.

Those have no idea abou editing and formation this house is highly recommended for them. But those can handel these by their own I shall not recommend.

And another thing if you want go their go with enough time (3-4 hrs).

Pathetic experience. I am writing as I am waiting for my document. It was already a formatted pdf where they just had to print and do a book binding. The issues
1) They make false commitments and waste entire day. They start with few hours and then extend and then it goes into days
2) the printers have issues and they skip pages while printing. You have to figure out the missing pages, again they will print and it’s serious harassment
3) They don’t have the professional approach of printing. As they rightly say it’s 1930, they use 1930 techniques to do the work
4) Full of arrogance.don’t know how to deal with customers.just having a shop since 1930 doesn’t prove anything. People matters not age of the shop

My recommendation- never go for professional documents. Fit for school projects and thesis and for people who don’t know to create and format a document. Not for professionals who require agility to make documents.

I got to know about Dhar Brothers from my Supervisor and fellow research scholars. They are certainly the best name in thesis printing and binding. I had a talk with Sumit da of DHAR over phone. He explained to me the entire thing very well and we fixed an appointment. I reached their office straight from the Kolkata airport.
There were many people working. The staff was very efficient. Not a single person was sitting idle even for one minute. What caught my attention was an old lady with silver hair in simple cotton saree. She was perhaps the oldest employee and the strongest. The way she was working, taking care of accounts, dealing with clients, managing phone calls and managing the staff as well, I was awestruck. I said to myself that I wish to be like her when I reach her age. Sumit da, Arijit da, Snehashish Gayen.each and every employee knows their work.
The behavior of the staff was very cordial and warm. My material was ready by evening. They called me the next day and told me to come on Wednesday. So they took just 1.5 days to deliver my order. True professionals. And the quality of the finished product was amazing. I could actually feel the printed words on the page. The paper quality, binding and the finished look was excellent. I thought I would be charged no less than 10k. But surprisingly, the total amount was just 7k. So it was very reasonable.

Few staff of Dhar brothers had given wrong information regarding the cost of my entire work. After realizing their faults they advocated some supportive talks.
